I have just recently read reviews from numerous people regarding this practice here in Sun City, and state that I have NEVER had any negative attitudes or professional practices presented to me. Also, I have never witnessed and/or overheard any negative conversations while I am in both the Bradenton or this office. I was a transplant to this office due to completion of service from Bradenton to this office, but this staff is just as able if not more able, and receptive to my wishes than I would expect. This office, at my request, does not even have that dog on robo call at supper time give me a call to remind me of the appointment, even after I have confirmed my presence via email. Bradenton office would not kill that procedure, and really got to me. I did have a totally major procedure done through this company, and in hindsite, probably would not have found more professional people to do what I had done, including followups and telephone consuls. My wife was extremely concerned about me taking more pain pills than was proscribed, but tolerance and additional limits were issued via phone, which was DEFINATELY not a problem with me, and the Dentists acceptance of my actual situation did not conflict with my view at all !!!! My specific situation is probably not close to what is being posted on this site, as I really was in bad shape, and very close to hurting my own personal health, but these people lead me down a path to regain my own personal health, and after picking personal preferences and colors, finally we got to the point of both aspects of being healthy and looking like I was 20 again. I used to have perfect teeth, and didnt have my first filling until I was 19, but life and my teeth didnt get along. This practice, along with a very good insurance policy, got me the results that I was expecting, and with a very satisfactory result. Would I wish to have gone elsewhere, nope. Even with my last visit yesterday, I definately am glad I signed on with them. No problem, and would do it again, but with a prescrip. with the possibility of an increased dose to begin with, but as needed, and yes, I did need it. They need my slap on the back for a job well done.

BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE!!!!!! This company is one big scam! If you like being lied to, scammed into signing up for their financing and paying for services the rest of your life, then this place is for you. Yes, the staff is nice but Ive learned the reason they are so nice is because they want to scam you. They persuade you into thinking you need a ton of dental work done when you really dont. I literally got charged $127 just to speak to their oral surgeon, for maybe 5 minutes, that just so happened to be in the office that day. First, what happened to the free initial consult? Second, I didnt schedule my visit to see the oral surgeon, the dentist basically said I was in luck because he was in the office that day. Then the oral surgeon said I needed 8 teeth removed. 8 TEETH REMOVED! Yes, I have my wisdom teeth and molars but they never bother me. Ive known about this for 13 years. Never had a problem. SCAM. SCAM. SCAM. I completely 1,000% regret going here in the first place. I urge you to find somewhere else to go. I have NO idea how this place is still in business. These people are not for the health of the patients. All they try and do is scam tons of money out of you. They told my boyfriend he has periodontal disease, which he does not, and he needed a "deep clean" that would cost him $1,600! WTF?! I never write reviews and I always keep my mouth shut on things like this but this is one I feel extremely strong about and Im about to take legal action if they do not write off the $127 charge they charged me for visiting with the oral surgeon". He visited with me for 5 minutes, if even and it wasnt my idea! How can you bill someone without their consent? They should have said "this visit is extra", not just do it and bill you for it. This is UNREAL. Why is there no 0 star option?!! It hurts to give them 1 star. Stay FAR away from this place, or youll be in debt for the rest of your life! I cant say this enough! Do NOT go to Aspen Dental!!!! Oh, and they dont know how to schedule! Messed up my schedule multiple times!

Although my wife and I are satisfied with the medical services, the scheduling has recently become horrible. My wife received a card and a scheduled dental appointment for 1:00 pm. When she came to her appointment at 12:30 she was told her appointment was at 12:15 pm and couldnt be seen, and would have to reschedule. Needless to say she was upset. We were never called for a reminder as we normally are to remind us of the appointment. I check my computer e-mail about (3) times a week, and decided after what happened to see if they sent a message. The day before they sent a change and a new time for 12:15 at 4:18pm the day before, no phone call. My wife called the day after to reschedule. Nicole said she had an appointment for 12/30/14 my wife said she would call back. Two hours later my wife called and was told that their was no openings until 1/30/15. Two hours delay made a (30) day difference. I called Aspen to find out why their was such confusion with scheduling and the appointment delay. I spoke again with Nicole and asked why the scheduling was such an issue, the last minute changes in appointment, and not being notified. Her response was "we dont make appointments at 1:00 pm" and completely ignored the secondary question of not being notified via phone. I have had appointments within the 1:00-1:15pm time frame before, my wife wrote down the time and received a card. This now became an integrity issue. My wife and I have had several appointment over the past 9 months, Nicole has just recently started working at Aspen within the last few weeks. I informed Nicole that the issue now has become one of responsibility for not doing there job. She made a insincere acknowledgement that it was their fault. My wife and I have long term dental plans with Aspen Dental, the medical treatment is good, but their admin and scheduling has issues that need to be resolved.

I went here because they do a free exam for people who dont have dental insurance. I work full time and am a full time college student that lives on my own so obviously I took advantage of the offer. I needed a routine cleaning and a small cavity filled, which I was told would be a total of $500. I got the financing option and on the day I arrived, they had none of my finance information, Whitney at the front desk had no idea what she was doing and kept asking for help, literally telling me "Sorry I have no clue what Im doing" and all the other front office people ignored her. They tried to make me pay the down payment that I had already paid months previous because they had nothing on file (good thing I had my receipts). Finally they got it figured out and did my filling, which they filled too much and I ended up having really bad tooth aches the whole rest of the week. I called back and let them know that I wasnt having any sensitivity to hot or cold but that when Id bite down it would send shooting pain through my mouth. Again, I spoke with Whitney, and she told me "Being sensitive to hot and cold is normal, call back if its still bothering you in two weeks." This front office staff does NOT LISTEN. I called back in two weeks and they finally would make me an appointment. I went in and the dentist (who was actually quite pleasant) said she had overfilled the cavity, so she fixed it. Also every time I called I would get put on hold for at least ten minutes total. I spent more time on hold than I ever spent talking to the staff. If I called before they were open and left a message, my call was never returned. Huge commercialized business with pretty bad customer service. I will not be going back for the cleaning. I got dental insurance and will find a new dentist before I go back there.
