Brand new to area. Went for cleaning and exam based upon ad I received in mail for free whitening, which was a lie, and convenience of being close to my house. They up charge everything. They told me I needed 2 fillings. So went and got them done. Then pain comes. Call in 3 days later and they call in antibiotic, which is fine if worked but did nothing for pain. Go back a week later and they redo the entire filling saying a piece fell off. Fair enough. They did the work for free of charge and gave me something for pain, which I needed. Week later I call as now whole side of face is hurting including my ear. Tell me to take another antibiotic and keep eating advil. So much pain I am eating 12-16 advil per day. Go to dentist this morning. "You need a root canal or extraction" keep taking advil and let us know your updated insurance information. Finally done with that place. So scheduled for a 2nd opinion else where, go back to get my records and I am told I might get to that today or tomorrow and I advised I needed them by 4pm. She will try. This place is the worst experience I have ever had at a dentist. Not professional. No care for pain or discomfort. No owning the problem they created. They are just out to take your money and assume that if you are in pain you are either over exaggerating or a pain pill addict. They make you feel like crap when the fact of the matter is I felt perfectly fine before stepping into this office. Stay away! Find a place that is more concerned with the patient and their quality of work versus how much extra stuff they can sell you

I’ve had a few different dentists here in Lakewood Ranch. I wasn’t totally happy with any of them. I used google to search for a new dentist and I found Dr. Harris. I went to her Bradenton Smiles office just to check out everything. What I found was a comfortable and clean dental clinic that was close to home. Dr. Harris took the time to meet with me even though I didn’t have an appointment. I was very pleased with everything so I scheduled my 1st appointment. At my 1st appointment Dr. Harris resolved a problem that I have lived with for some time. Next, she had her hygienist Amy deep clean my gums (I have gingivitis). Amy cleaned my gums quickly and with very little discomfort. Since then I have had 2 crowns and 1 bridge put in by Dr. Harris. All were done right the 1st time with no issues. And Amy has my gingivitis under control! I no longer live with pain and bleeding from my gums. Dr. Harris and her staff have significantly improved the quality of my life. Thank you, Dr. Harris!

Dr Harris and her staff are truly an outstanding team; I have been to many dentists practices and Dr Harris is an outstanding Dentist. I have been a patient there for 4 years, have received fillings, crown replacements, new crown work, dental implants and Amy, the hygienist, has cleaned my teeth for over 4 years and is amazing!! If you truly want a professional experience, if you have realistic expectations, if you are willing to be taken care of by the best, choose Dr Harris as your dentist. Even when I had a small issue with a tooth, and it turned into a larger problem, I worked with her team to solve it; Dr Harris arranged for the other dentist in her practice to treat me, as an emergency, on a Saturday morning. I have never had a bad experience dealing with Dr Harris or her staff!

I have been a patient at this office for two years and when they stopped taking my dental insurance I decided to continue having a cleaning a year here because of the positive experiences Ive had in the past. But today, after making me wait 20 minutes for my cleaning, I was told that if I wanted to keep my appt my bill would be $433 as I needed x-rays and some other things. I tried to explain that I made my appt for a cleaning and had told them on the phone when I scheduled it that since they no longer took my insurance the cleaning is all I could do (which they said was not a problem), but once I was at the office they told me this was not possible. This was very unprofessional experience.

The staff was amazing!!!! I would recommend them to anyone. They were able to work with us to get my boyfriends tooth extracted that day with using carecredit. She explained what kind of payments needed to be done to avoid interest on the card. They took such good care of him. The staff also took the time while I was waiting for him to pull up my insurance information and explain what it would cover for me. They are very proffesional, friendly and informative!

I attempted to have a crown done here and went through a complete nightmare. I completely gave up and was going to have the remaining tooth pulled elsewhere. Dr Ballentine at Northport Dental, who is a customer of mine told me he would take a look. I cannot tell you how happy I am. It was so easy and it was absolutely carefree. I dont usually post bad reviews but this was warranted. Think twice before you just go here based on marketing.

I had a great experience with Dr. Kuchmak I went in to get my wisdom teeth extracted, and he made sure I was comfortable. Im so glad he got me out of pain! The office was very nice and clean and the staff was very friendly.
