Got my daughters glasses there in 2013. I had great insurance and still had to pay $180 out of pocket. This year a dog chewed on her glasses and the frames were fine to still use but needed new lenses. The warranty was up so they said I would have to pay the $75 in extras again for the same glasses. Told them fine, call me when they are done. Spent a month playing phone tag just to find out they never sent them in for repair, the order got "lost" but shes now eligible to get a new exam and update her lenses if her vision has changed so I should just do that since they never got sent in. What a scam! I believe they purposefully held on to them until it had been 2 years since we got the 1st pair so they could make their office more money. So of course we went that route and I told them I wanted a discount on the extras since they so obviously scammed us, and never got that either. They didnt call in the 7-10 day time frame and I just had to call them and found out they have been there for a few days. This place is terrible and we wont ever use them again.

Figured out after several years of my glasses just not seeming to be correct for me, that the guy (Paul) who measured me for lens position on my bi-focal was measuring me incorrectly. Thats why I would rarely wear the glasses that I paid almost $300 above insurance for a line-less bi-focal. Id even went back and had them redone, but the same guy measured me again and again. Id have them move the bifocal up to the point I couldnt wear them to drive, without sliding them down on the nose. I finally ordered a pair with visible lines and the girl that measured me told me hed been measuring me wrong. So now I have a pair that was correct, but has lines and they still cost me almost $300 from the costs going up. Not going back after at least 20 years of service. Trying somewhere new.

After being a long time customer I will not go back to this business. First started with losing my appointement that was schedule weeks in advance, made comments about my insurance and took weeks longer to get my glasses, I still do not have. It has been one bad experience after another. Every aspect of this business is failing. In addition the deceptive sales tactics were over the top. I have been wearing glasses since I was seven years old so I know about glasses and lenes. Finally their prices are just stupid high and I have insurance, it is just not a good optical business anymore.

I have been a Riverfront Optical customer for many years. This appointment yesterday was horrible when it came to dealing with the front help. Newer girl this year who is very short with customers. Argumentative. My Crizal lenses are still under warranty. When my new glasses that I didnt order Crizal come in, they will remake my old ones at no cost. The only catch is they will make my old prescription which is useless. What good is the year long warranty if they will not remake them in current prescription?

Horrible customer service!! I stopped in to ask them if they took my state insurance and the lady receptionist looked at it and said no. Then laughed. Very short and rude. Then I was calling to see if they had a replacement frame for my sons Ray Banes. They had me on hold and said they had didnt have that size. She was short and rude once again and I know she didnt bother looking them up....EVERYWHERE else had em!

I have been visiting riverfront eyecare for years and their staff has done nothing but go above and beyond to help me with all my eye care needs! The new owners have a great, hard working, and friendly staff. I would recommend this place to anyone! If youve had trouble in the past I would definitely try them out again! ever since the new owners it has gone to Crap.. they dont listen when you say or ask questions they loose your charts and files constantly . the selections have gone down and they forget when your on the phone.. one of the ladys was very rude and the male optometrist was all about himself . a very unpleasant visit and I will not be going back

They are terrible on the phone, I had to call 4 times because they would put me on hold and forget about me when all I wanted was to schedule an appointment. The staff is friendly but and the prices are reasonable, however the slow customer turnover is prevalent in the front office as well, its not unusual to wait 30 minutes before your exam.

Everyone is very friendly, and helpful! I LOVE my new glasses! I cant believe how fast I got them. I highly recommend Riverfront, and my mom loves Dr. Koon. I will be sending my daughter there for her contacts soon. Thank you Riverfront! Youre the best!

They immediately got me in even when I was 15 mins ahead of time. The only thing I would say they need improvement on is maintaining their phone lines. They put you on hold then have you waiting long periods of time.
