This place is a total scam. You would think that you should be able to trust Dentists. Think AGAIN. First of all I was lured in by their 39$ cleaning and x-rays. The X-ray technician was nice but seemed extremely inexperienced, he needed to x-ray the same spot in my mouth three times because he didnt do it properly the first time. It took about 45 minutes for him to complete this process, ...a little timely dont you think? HE then was told (for some messed up reason) to take imprints of my teeth? ? Ugghh...Im not getting braces...but I thought ...ok maybe they need it for something else ...(Im not the dentist here) He had to re-do this process 4 times just on my lower teeth because once again, he couldnt get it right the first time. Then they proceeded to bring me into the dentists room, where she came in and told me about some B.S ivory stuff she uses on her patients teeth which costs a fortune but lasts longer? She said i had a bunch of cavities which was true. But then she brought her cocky, model-looking financial assistant (or whatever the heck he is) in to talk to me about the "costs" of what the treatments going to be. He came in, patted her on the leg and flirted with her for a second, listened to some quack numbers she read off to him, and said "Ill be back I just need to calculate a finance option for you" He comes back in ten minutes later, and starts reading off numbers that he seemed to pull right out of his A$$. He says ONE of my cavities will cost around $850 for a filling....but if I sign up for some scam insurance and pay $150 for the insurance then it will reduce the fillings cost to 250$,(totalling 400$ instead) but for the all the OTHER cavities the insurance is NOT usable. Sound like a good deal? I THINK NOT. $850 for a f-ing cavity? Thats unheard of. He was obviously trying to throw the highest number he could think of at me, and then try and justify that by luring me into this scam "Insurance" policy. I asked to see more information on what this so-called insurance would cover, and he handed me a "pamphlet" that was ONE page with a bunch of Gibberish numbers on it. I said I would look into it more and let him know later (he was trying to get me to sign up on the spot). There was nothing else to look into except to go see another dentist and get a second opinion. Lets just say I got all three of my fillings done SOMEWHERE ELSE, for UNDER the cost of what they were quoting me for ONE. . I got the cleaning done and decided NEVER to go back to this stupid place. Also when I got my cleaning done, they made me wait for literally ONE HOUR, before seeing me, then called me into the room, where they made me wait about another 20 minutes. Do yourselves a favour and dont even bother coming here. Its a waste of time!!!! even though the x-rays are pretty much free (or included in the 39$ fee), they WONT SEND YOUR X-RAYS TO WHEREVER YOU TRANSFER TO. I tried calling twice, and faxing a request for them to send over my X-rays, and FINALLY they only ended up sending ONE x-ray of the at least TEN the technician took. And I had to end up getting my teeth x-rayd a second time at the new place because obviously the ONE they sent over didnt cut it. Oh and P.S they try to lure people back to them by telling them to give them a GOOD review and in exchange theyll give you some free tooth whitening B.S that you dont even need, in case you were wondering why they have any good reviews.

I had been wanting to write this review for a while after my procedure, but Im not the type that likes to write a one star review. Looking back on my experience with this dentistry, I realized that it was important to share my story. I am a poor student, and like many other reviewers, had gotten the Groupon deal including the free whitening set (which they totally forgot about). My experiences with the x-ray technician and the hygienist were wonderful-- they were friendly and very nice. I cannot say that I had the same experience with the dentist-- the owner. My first issue was the outcome after examination of my teeth and the second was conflicting information I was getting about a suggested procedure. During my exam, the dentist looked at my gums with the usual tools. I noticed that she pushed a little too hard on the right side my gum, but I didnt think much of it until later that day. That same day, I noticed that the same spot where she had pushed up against had gotten inflamed. The next couple of days, the gum started to get worse. Every time I brushed up against it (even times when I was very gentle and tried to avoid the gums), it bled. The daily cycle of brushing/bleeding was so awful that the gum started to become super sensitive and a part of the gum actually descended downwards-- so it looked like a small flap up against my teeth. Gross. I know. Throughout the month, the gum would try to heal, only to be irritated again. Only after when the infected part broke off did the healing process occur. I couldnt believe I had gotten an gum INFECTION from an EXAM. Note: Other than the occasional canker sore, Ive never had gum issues! I understand that theres tons of bacteria in the mouth, but Ive never gotten an infection from any of my previous dental visits! Then, she looked at my x-rays. The dentist said that even though my teeth hadnt erupted, I needed to get my wisdom teeth out. She told me that my upper left tooth was leaning on a neighboring tooth causing it to cut off blood circulation to a neighboring tooth. She said it was an "emergency" case and that I could lose the tooth soon if I did not remove the leaning tooth. She then proceeded to tell me that the oral surgeon only comes in once during each month, and he had already come to clinic this month. My appointment was during the 1st week of the month. She told me that he would be in mid next month to do the surgery. Then she promptly brought in the finance employee to figure out the numbers which were a little above average for the cost of 4 wisdom teeth. Like another review had said, there was a lot of pressure for their discount program. Anyways. Obviously, it was not an emergency. If it was so close to cutting of the blood supply, why wait a month? Why not go to another oral surgeon immediately? Why wait and compromise a patients health for a scheduling issue? Another reason why I thought it was a bit odd was that all my adult teeth had come in straight, and I hadnt needed braces (lucky, I guess). Suspicious, I had requested the x-rays sent to my hometown dentist that I completely trust for a second opinion. After reviewing the x-rays, he said that it was NOT an emergency case and that I could wait a year to take them out. So clearly, the two views were of opposite spectrum. Needless to say, I did not return for the wisdom teeth extraction.

Terrible. Avoid at all costs if you care about wasting your time. I could care less about the pricing. My complaint is about the terrible, terrible service. I should have walked out on the first day when I came in and heard people complaining about various issues, then heard staff openly making fun of patients as soon as they walked away. Starting with my first experience, contacting them to schedule an appointment and give them my insurance information. I CLEARLY stated I would not come in for my appointment unless they contacted me to tell me that my insurance would cover everything. Of course it was my responsibility to call them back and check prior to my appointment, and was told everything would be covered (xrays that I said I didnt need, they said they would cover if my insurance didnt). Then I arrive for my appointment. I sit in the waiting room for about 15 minutes until I am called back to get xrays, cleaning, etc. So disorganized, I couldnt tell who the xray tech was (she ended up doing part of my cleaning when the other lady just left in the middle), and had 3-4 different people "helping" me. I was asked if I had fluoride before (the brush), I said no, they automatically did it to me. When I checked out I found out that not only was I charged for fluoride (it was later taken off), but I was charged a portion of everything I had done, cleaning, xrays (they said theyd comp it, right?), etc. even though I had checked before coming in to find out if they accepted insurance. The entire miserable experience took 100 minutes, which is understandable given how many things were done. I was promptly scheduled for a follow up to fix the one filling that I have. I showed up, waited another 15 minutes in the waiting room, only to be ushered into another room to wait again. It was almost 30 minutes before I saw the dentist, who asked if I wanted a shot to numb the pain. I said yes and she gave me the shot, saying shed return when it kicked in. Ive had several oral shots before and they never take more than 5 minutes to kick in. She NEVER returned. I sat in the room another 30 minutes until I was fed up and started walking around the office until someone stopped me. I told them I was trying to figure out what I was waiting for, and I was told they were waiting for my shot to kick in. After running into several staff members, all I was offered during the wait was water, and all I wanted was an apology and an answer. Maybe tell me to contact you when Im ready, or come check in a few minutes, or just feign some sort of customer service skills. I was then told about 10 minutes later that the dentist was now in a meeting, and Id have to wait or have someone else (never found out her title) to do the procedure. She came in several minutes later and took 5 minutes to finish everything. This 5-15 minute job took 100 minutes to complete. I left, and I will not return. Shame, because a few coworkers were waiting on my review before they switched over because its so close to work. Oh, I forgot to mention I work hourly, and have to put in a certain amount weekly. Now I get to enjoy coming in early and staying late the rest of the week to make up for incompetence and SEVERE lack of communication between staff members and patients.
