I had surgery a couple weeks ago and have been running fevers over 102 degrees. I went in this morning to have blood test by doctors orders to see if there is anything abnormal. When I arrived the women at the desk claimed she didnt have any paperwork about me so I told her that I had already talked with several of the staff members over the phone earlier that morning. She then said "Well, Ill check the fax filing cabinet" and pulled out a mess of papers from behind her and slapped them down on her desk, very quickly she said she didnt have anything and turned back around and noticed my paperwork was in the fax machine and wasnt looked at yet. She then said to wait and Id be called on. Keep in mind I am in pain and my fever at the time was 102.3(i have my own thermometer I have been carrying since the fevers started being bad). After being called in by another woman my blood was taken, I signed my paperwork and she told me I was good to go and Id receive a call in 2 or 3 hours at the most. This was at 10:45 a.m. Time went on and I waited until it was 2:30 p.m. and I had not received or missed any calls, so I call the office. The woman tells me she didnt not receive anything from the lab so she will talk to them and call me right back. 45 minutes go by and still no phone call so I again call the office. after being on hold for 5 minutes another woman tells me that Cynthia (the women at the desk in 350 who didnt realize my paperwork was still sitting in the fax machine) just talked to the people in the lab and said it will take 2 more hours. I asked if they never started the test to which all the woman on the phone said was "Im sorry" when it probably was no fault of her own. I then asked if I would actually receive the call today because I know the office is closed by 5:00 p.m. She said that might happen so to call back before then to be sure. SEVERE LACK OF COMMUNICATION. it is now almost 4:00 pm and I just cant believe the experience Ive had so far. IRRESPONSIBLE, not a good trait to have when your business is the health of others. The day is almost over and I probably wont get the results today, so I will probably be forced to go to the ER again which I had been to a week prior for having high fevers. The only reason I have the energy to type this is because it has me so worked up. Just horrible

Horrible. My daughter went for a drug screen for a new job. No one at the front desk to tell you what to do. She talked to one man who had been there waiting for over 2 hours. I called to see if I could talk to someone to at least tell my daughter how long it would be. When someone finally answered the phone she rudely said " We are in the back with patience" My daughter finally had to go find the restroom. She couldnt wait any longer. She has now been there for 2 hours and she is finally being called back to pee in the cup. Ridiculous.

I required a very difficult test that other labs said they were not able to do. This lab took care of everything, and the staff were professional and friendly. Definitely would recommend this location. It is difficult to find, however. It is located on the 3rd floor of the Atrium Building and there are no signs outside to let you know it is even there. Just follow signs for the Atrium Bldg and go to Suite 350. Contrary to other reviews, it is definitely open to the public. You may make reservations or just walk in.

i have medical issues that require me to have blood drawn every other month or so, and i have been to many, many labs all around the country. the staff at this office is so kind and so helpful. i have been here several times at different times of the day and have never been disappointed. i have never had to wait longer than five minutes, even when there have been other patients waiting. i appreciate the way i have been treated and helped. i will definitely use this lab again!

It is so convenient that they are open early on Saturday mornings. I never have to wait more than 10 minutes to be seen and all of the staff I have met with are always kind and fun. I used to have my blood drawn every month and I always relied on this facility because it is close to home. It is rather chilly inside, so that would be my only complaint. I would rather be chilly for a few minutes than have to wait a long time to get my labs done.

I have been to this lab many times, always good service and they certainly are open to the public. It is difficult to find, because it is in the medical building inside North Central Baptist Hospital. The 502 address is only located on the back side of the building, across from the free parking garage. Enter into the Atrium side of the hospital, and it is straight through the lobby through the double doors on the far side.

The staff here is great. They are trained and I did not have to wait long. My only complaint is that the office is very cold (much like a hospital), so bring your sweater.

They close their doors at 4pm weekdays. Not very accommodating for most people who work normal business hours. Time to update website!
