Horrible horrible horrible. The staff was rude, hateful, unprofessional, trashy, and sarcastic when I went there 03/04/2016. I put 90% of the blame on Kristina Silvas. The experience was so bad I had to talk with the regional supervisor for Quest Diagnostics. Even though I made an appointment I still had to wait 15 minutes. I was asked for the confirmation number of my appointment then when I was ready to provide it I was then told they didnt need it. Next I was told they needed my credit card even though I have insurance. I was asked for my credit card when all the tubes were out and labeled and my arm was stretched out waiting for the jab. What a weird moment to demand a credit card. The person insisted Quest always puts authorization holds on cards for the estimated "patient responsible" portion of the bill. I responded that I had never been asked for a credit card when Ive gone to Quest and that I have been going to Quest for over 10 years. My experience had always been that I was billed after the insurance company processed the claim. Usually my portion of the bill was $70 or less. It was obvious I wasnt going to get my blood drawn unless I gave Kristina a credit card so I finally did. She put a $200 authorization on it. So at this point I though shed draw my blood and I could leave. Instead she was obviously in a rage and was staring at me while she fumbled with the tubes saying that I had been in a different world when I said I hadnt had to hand over a credit card before at other Quest locations. She then asked how long I have been living in San Antonio. I responded that I didnt want to have a conversation, I just wanted to get my blood drawn so I could go. Kristina had a rage attack at that point. She put all the tubes down, said she wouldnt draw my blood, and put me in a different room. As she walked away she sarcastically said "have a nice day". I could hear the other workers in the office snickering. I guess I was put in time-out. After 10 minutes waiting I called Quest repeatedly finally getting a human being on the line. She was shocked at my predicament. While holding another staff person came into the room and finally drew my blood. She was cold but at least she didnt ask any personal questions. The funny thing is, I just want to a Quest office yesterday 03/12/2016 in Austin for another draw for a different test and guess what, was not asked for a credit card at all. Amazing. There is something seriously wrong with the Quest on Oakwell Ct in San Antonio.

Staff was very uninterested and seemed annoyed by my arrival. Very unpleasant experience, I left and took my business to another lab.
