Proceed with EXTREME caution in going to this dental practice! I would give this practice 0 stars if I could. I scheduled a routine cleaning for my daughter with Dr. Ernesto Prida, but was seen by his wife, Davina Prida, who identified herself as a dentist. Prior to any cleaning, she told me my daughter had 15 cavities, as well as the need for a crown on a molar and another possible crown, but most likely/definitely a root canal on another molar. I had taken my daughter to another dentist 6 months previous for a cleaning and no cavities, crowns, root canal had been mentioned then. Shes only ever had 1 cavity before and we do cleanings/checkups regularly. Dr. Davina Prida came back in during the cleaning and said they could do all those cavities that day if Id like. I declined, feeling uneasy with the eagerness this office had in performing such extensive work so quickly. I have since gotten a 2nd opinion in which only 2 cavities were found. NO root canal and no crowns were needed. This recommendation coincides with all the past dental work my daughter has had. I later found Dr. Davina Prida works out of Lake Forest Dental. In looking at reviews of that practice, several identified her aggressive dentistry practice of telling patients they needed unnecessary work done. Please get a second opinion before doing any work with this office. I do not know why Dr. Davina Prida is working at this practice as she is not listed as a dentist here. Be very cautious in going here.

I really cant begin to say how grateful I am to have found Dr. Prida and his staff. I had my wisdom teeth removed recently at his office, and I truly can not emphasize enough how smoothly and easily both the procedure and the subsequent recovery process has gone. I, like many other people, Im sure, have a good deal of anxiety surrounding the thought of going to the dentist, but Dr. Prida and his staff have been nothing but warm, caring and professional throughout every interaction I have had with them. They did everything they could to make me feel comfortable both before and during the surgery, and they have been happy to answer any and all questions I had about the procedure, both before and after. Dr. Prida is clearly a man of great skill, full of passion for what he does, and full of compassion as well, which are not qualities that are often found together. Its clear that his staff also possess the same qualities, and I appreciate every interaction I have had with them. Long story short: Dr. Prida and his staff are awesome. If you are looking for a new dentist, I cannot recommend them highly enough. (And not that its relevant, but yes the office is gorgeous.)

April 27, 2016 I am so delighted with the amazing transformation in my smile, thanks to Dr. Ernesto Prida at Stone Lodge Dental in McKinney, Texas. Dr. Prida is an extremely talented, caring dentist. For over 20 years I have wanted to improve my smile, while small changes were made, none created the smile I really desired. Then getting a cap that did not match my natural teeth, just made matters worse. While I did not hold back from smiling because I wasnt happy with my teeth, I certainly was not as happy with my photos as I would of liked to be. In just two visits, Dr. Prida created a smile I never could of even imagined, I absolutely love it. I am thrilled with the results. The entire staff was very professional and caring. I have had the pleasure of working with both Dr. Prida and Dr. Allen. My children are 14(daughter) and 20(son) years old. My daughter was experiencing pain and it was discovered that her wisdom teeth were causing problems now and would cause more in the future. Dr. Prida did such an excellent job on her that I decided to bring my son in two days later (on a Saturday at that). The previous dentist he had could not handle the orthodontist type work that was recommended. In fact two other offices were recommended, one for extractions and one for root canals. Dr. Allen’s diagnosis was in accordance with what the other dentist stated and said he was able to take care of that day in his office, again on a Saturday, which helped greatly. There was actually a fifth tooth (a molar) that was causing a great deal of pain that was removed as well. My son does not have insurance but the cost was about $100 less than the previous estimate for only four teeth. The professionalism and friendliness of the entire staff could not be better!

Oh my goodness I cannot begin to explain how thankful our family is for Dr Prida and his team... my daughters anxiety is very high and they were able to focus on making her feel as if she was not even at the dental office... We had her treatment done the same day and she left with an even prettier smile because Dr Prida uses white porcelain crowns for pediatrics.... The surgical suite is oriented towards pediatrics too so she enjoyed getting VIP treatment! My daughter even took the time to draw a picture for Dr. Prida, to thank him and tell him he is the best dentist ever. (Dr Prida hung her picture up in the pediatric suite and she was so happy to see it there) The office is beautifully decorated to make you feel you are not at the dentist. Our family is thankful to have found the best dental practice for each one of our family members! Thank you Dr Prida and his entire staff for everything!

I love the atmosphere at this office because my kids were so happy that they are not affraid to go to the dentist anymore. Dr Prida allows my two sons to participate on each other oral exams which it made the experience very entertaining and fun for them. The main thing for me was that I was giving options of multiple treatments for my issue and Dr Prida let me choose the best of option of treatment for me. I did not feel as if I was being sold on one option of treatment that dentists choose. Lastly, thanks to Dr Prida for giving me a good financial payment plan with discount since I was to pay cash. Even though that Stonelodge dental is one hour away from my house I will continue dealing with traffic and the long distance from now on.
