I have avoided going to a dentist for several years because I felt like all of the ones I had gone to were inventing "problems" that had to be fixed in order for them to make more money for their practice. I recently found myself in NEED of a DDS because one of my molars split and I lost part of my tooth. When I called and spoke to Julie, she was very sympathetic to my situration and arranged for me to come in that day. I was very worried about how the tooth would be fixed and had, quite honestly worked myself into a state of being very very nervous. Dr Akhavan and his assistant, Kelsey were very quick to put me at ease. I must say, Kelsey is very amazing at her job. She even offered to hold my hand and sing to me (which I understand now is not offered to all patients). Long story short, my tooth ended up needing a root canal and instead of my normal panic mode, I was very comfortable with Dr Akhavan doing this procedure. As is typical to my dental history, my root canal was not exactly text book (something about roots being crossed) but Dr Akhavan was very kind and gentle and all turned out well. I have since started both of my younger daughters with this practice and tomorrow my husband goes in for his first visit in years. I am happy to refer anyone and everyone I know to this office. If you are in need of a compasionate, and exceptional dentist - you really should go to this office.

Words cant describe how INCREDIBLE PA Dental Arts are. I have always had a fear of dentists after having a bad situation as a child. Last year I noticed that one of the caps on my front teeth was a bit loose. I went to my old dentist and lets just say I wasnt happy how things were handled. My friend told me about PA Dental arts and I called and made an appointment. I felt welcome as I walked in the door by Julie Once in the exam Kelsey made me feel comfortable and at ease with the situation . Dr Arkhavan has a incredible bed side manner and is very compasionate and ensures he explains the situation fully. It ended up that I needed a bridge vs just a new cap and of course I was devastated but they made me feel so good that it was easier to handle. He is very detailed and takes a lot of pride in what he does and Kelsey and Julie are wonderful. Only problem is I am moving from the area and have to find a new dentist. It will be tough finding someone as good as he is. I promise if you go there you wont be let down.

I believe I was one of the first patients going back to Aug of 2013. I received a coupon in the mail for a cleaning, at that time I did not have dental insurance. P.A Dental Arts was able to provide insurance at a reasonable cost and I was able to afford the attention my teeth and gums needed. Dr. Akhavan is thorough, offers options, compassionate and gentle. His professional staff Julie and Kelsey are always welcoming, they address all questions and concerns and they both have a great sense of humor to help ease the anxiety that comes along with going to the dentist. They also have a new addition to the staff Christie, who Im sure will fit in with the high standards that are present. I now look forward to going to the dentist and looking forward to a long relationship in dental care at P.A. Dental Arts. I have all the confidence that they will take good care of me for many years to come. GREAT dental care, customer service, Saturday appointments and I always leave with a smile on my face.

I am a huge reviews person, I dont go anywhere without reading reviews so I am the first to share my experience to others! I was referred to P.A Dental Arts by a friend and I couldnt be happier with my experience! I have always had a fear of dentists so I have avoided going for many years but am so glad that I did! When I called Julie was so kind and got me on the schedule for an appt. the same week. The hygienist was sweet as can be as well! Dr. Akhavan was wonderful, my exam was very thorough (I was actually amazed at how advanced the equipment is there). He sat down and took his time explaining everything to me and answered all my questions, I didnt feel rushed at all. I also didnt wait at all to be seen which tells me they do a good job scheduling the appointments. I live an hour away from this dentist office and will be making the drive to have additional work done this week....it is well worth the drive to find a good dentist office you can trust that make you feel comfortable!

Lets just say I am a nervous Nancy, ESPECIALLY when it comes to the dentist. So when I broke my tooth I put off the repair for WEEKS. I kept looking and looking for the right dentist. I was referred here from a work buddy and when I had a severe toothache one Saturday, they were open and could get me in within 2 hours. The stars seemingly aligned to guide me here because it was the perfect experience. Julie, the office manager, off the bat got me in the office and out of pain the same day. They even worked with me financially on what my insurance did not cover! Kelsey the dental assistant was amazing as well, her and Julie we both pros in easing my anxiety. Dr. Akhavan was very good and careful to make sure my experience was as pain free as possible. Needless to say I am certain I have found the right dentist for me. Julie and Kelsey are both an asset to this office taking a good experience and making it GREAT! Keep up the good work guys!

I went to P.A. Dental in Dec 2014 with pain after being turned away from my former dentist, stating nothing he can do for me. Called P.A. Dental in pain, and Julie was great, she told me to come in now on a Saturday morning. Dr. Akhavan was wonderful, he offered a partial root canal on the spot to help with my pain. After 2 months of pain, I was finally able to go home and rest and eat! Ive been back for many procedures, root canal, crown, cleaning, etc. Julie was very helpful with payments and understanding my benefits, and helps eases the anxiety of a dr visit with her warm smile as you walk in the door. Kelsey makes teeth cleaning relaxng. She will tell you what she will be doing, so that there will not be any unexpected discomfort. Dr. Akhavan was wonderful in all the procedures he has done for me, very professional, knowledgeable, and caused no discomfort while performing them. I will be a continued patient!

I have been a patient here for 1 1/2 years and I wish I had Dr. Arkhavan as my dentist for the previous years and I would have saved myself time, money, and a couple of teeth. I absolutely have no complaints. You are immediately welcomed by Julie who is so down to earth and has a wonderful and upbeat personality. Talking to her definitely calms my nerves as I always get anxiety about coming to the dentist. Dr. Arkhavan is amazing. He is very meticulous and thorough and definitely makes sure that you understand what is going on through the entire process. Its an immediate comfort. The dentist chairs are also very comfortable and the chairs in the waiting room are amazing. They also have very high tech equipment which is always a great thing. I highly recommend this office. They are professional, courteous, and very concerned about their patients.
