Very upset with this place. I took my dog in for a limping leg and Dr. Ishida hurt my dogs foot and tore out one of her nails while examing her. He also did not disclose in detail how and how much she was hurt. I only found out later until my dog stopped bearing weight on the foot he hurt and I called the hospital back for more information. They charged me full price for her services and hurt my dog more than what she already was dealing with! Beware of Dr. Ishida at this hospital. I think hes a rookie Dr. And doesnt know how to deal with pets or how to thoroughly explain their issues to pet owners.

Highly recommended by my daughter and son-in-law and they were correct in doing so. VERY compassionate in the manner they handled my dog when he had to be put to sleep. With their prices the best I could find did not expect the beautiful box with engraved name and the cast of his foot print. All this will hold a lasting memory in our time of sorrow. Thank you to the doctor and all the staff.

Pro: vet was very willing to answer our many questions. Drs did not try to sell us tests that are not yet needed. Feel very at ease after our dogs visit for eating chicken bones. Affordable exam fee. Cons: small waiting room, and even with appointment we waited 35 minutes to get into a room. It was stressful for our social pup and us.

Ive been going here with my pets for years! I remember taking my cat in 1980! DR. V. is amazing and very helpful as well as willing to teach and explain your pets diagnosis in detail. Ive lived and taken my pets to many vets in other areas and now I am back in southern California and travel about an hour to see Dr V. He is the best!

I absolutely love this place! I had an emergency and had to take my dog after her Dew claw got caught and her nail ripped. She was in enormous pain and they took her right away! They calmed her made her comfortable and she stayed with them for an hour and they called me when she was ready to go after bandaging her back up

If you do not have an appointment good luck! Waited about an hour for them to see my dog that was in pain. That being said the staff is friendly. You are greeted as you enter the building. Coffee is offered. Staff are genuinely concerned for your baby :p. If it were not for the wait time i would have given them 5 star.

Getting close, but still nowhere near as exceptional as Yorba Regional. As a local resident of Whittier, I come here for grooming which is excellent. However, I think that Dr. Vorhies is the best doctor here. If they were all as compassionate as him, Id have given this place a 5.

I have taken my dog here a few times. This is like an upscale veterinarian office. They recently moved into a new building which looks better than some doctors offices Ive been in. They offer valet parking, inside is well organized, staff is great and prices are fairly reasonable.

Because the best Dr. Retire and THERE some one name Susie who is married to Dr.V. My dog was very sick, and just because I was late once she said no more credit for us. I love all my pets, and a place like that should have been more understanding.
