Dr. White and his staff are great. When my wife and I came into a Jack Russell it was immediately evident that his left hip was funky. While I had him down at Dr. Whites for his shots, I asked what he thought about the hip. An Xray showed that it had been broken. He was about two at the time. Dr. White explained that at some point it would become painful as it went to bone on bone, and that he does a surgery for this problem which involves putting a synthetic ball on the end of the femur. He said not to worry, youll know when its getting bad, and it could be a while. Soon enough the poor little guy was on three legs, sometimes falling. We elected to do the surgery, not really knowing what to expect. I was, and remain amazed at the outcome. Max gets lots of exercise and has grown into a little ball of muscle. To quote Dr. White, "A 50 pound dog in a 20 pound package." I dont know how Huntington Veterinary Hospital compares to others on pricing, but I never feel ripped off and I have no reason to shop around. On another occasion Max saw some deer in the yard and bolted past me out the door. He chased them down through the woods and across the street, where he got rolled under a car. I called HVH as I drove there with him. The nurse was waiting for us in the parking lot. They whisked him off to the treatment room, and after a very anxious few minutes Dr. White came out and told me "Max is a very lucky dog..." I cannot recommend Dr. White and his staff highly enough. Max agrees. He actually likes going to the vet.

We love this place!! Our previous dog had a medical condition that required monthly visits and they were always so kind. Yes, they are expensive and because we were going every month we did try a couple other places because of cost- but came back to Dr White because the other vets wanted to give more meds and they made things worse. When we first met Dr White our dog was pretty sick. He told us what he thought it was and after a blood test, confirmed the diagnosis. Our dear Lucky lived another 10 yrs because of his care. he even waited until 9:30 one night just so we could gets meds for her when she was extremely ill. Unfortunately she wasnt going to get better so we had to say goodbye to her. He showed us true compassion and concern for us. We now have a new dog without medical problems at this point and he will continue to be our vet. Many thanks to Dr White and his staff! ❤️

Man, this place blows! Took my dog there cause he got hit by a car, and all they wanted to do was give us a price estimate even before taking a look at our dog. Shouldnt it be that they take your pet in, check them out and then later on bill us? It was just kinda wierd HOW Dr. White made us sign a bunch of papers and then without being sympathetic or anything says, "oh by the way its gonna be about $700, so should we go ahead?" I mean, whats up with that? Unless you are there for regular check ups, dont even bother...but they way he treated us was just plain BS. All he wants is $$$$$$$$. No sense of compassion... Oh yeah, and then we even asked, what if we dont have money? what would happen? and all the receptionist said "then oh well, then hell just die...WTF???? Never ever take your dog there, they will lay you down.

Dr. White and his staff are super! They are now taking care of my second Westie, one year old "McGregor," and I wouldnt take him anywhere else. Dr. White cared for my first Westie, Bud E. Byrns for 13+ years, and pulled him through diabetes and subsequent issues. I know without a doubt that without his care Bud E. would not have lasted to age 14. When the end time came, Dr. White and his staff were so compassionate and caring, helping me through this most difficult time. McGregor loves going to Huntington Vet Hospital and so do I! We continue going there even though we have moved to Burbank.

HORRIBLE EXPENSIVE!!!!! Our cat had a swollen jaw because of an infection coming from a bad tooth. So they want to pull the tooth and said it is necessary to X-Ray and than see if more need to be done. They gave us an Estimate for $2300 So we went for a second opinion to a different veterinary and there they said that they have to pull the tooth too but just for $185. It seems like 1st. priority is look how much they can get out of your wallet and than in second is maybe the pet. Its not the first time that they ask for so high pries but it never was so far off.

I had heard wonderful things about this vet for a long time, and needed to find a new one that was closer to home. I was so impressed with Dr. White and the entire staff. They were nothing but accommodating when I needed my ailing cat to be seen right away. They have also been very caring with follow-up phone calls to check on Milo, to make sure he was doing OK, and answering any questions. Dr. White even took time out in between seeing patients today to speak to me on the phone. I cannot recommend Huntington Veterinary enough. Milo and I thank you!

My dog went in to have a c-section that costed $1700 and that didnt include any meds. 2 months later my dog got a infection were they cut her and I took my dog back to find out that the infection was because of the bottom stiches. After the doctor was finished he charged me again just to check her and for 15 antibiotics another $100 although it was the doctors fault. This doctor is so expensive and will charge you for anything he can think of. The girls in the front are very nice but I will not go back there again.

Dr. White actually cares about what he does and is extremely knowledgeable. He does not suggest or try to push you to do unnecessary things to your pets. I do suggest getting pet insurance though because once you come here once youll want to keep coming back to make sure your pets stay healthy. The staff and Dr. White are dedicated and compassionate and I appreciate everything they have done for my pets.

This is an awesome Vet in Monrovia. Absolutely hands down the most professional operation I have seen. They have quality attentive people working in the front to help with checking in your pet. The Vet who is Dr. White I believe is one of the best at treating dogs with hip problems and such. Very impressed with the diagnostic equipment and the facility. I would definitely recommend this animal hospital.

I looked at the yellow pages to find a real dermatologist for my dog, who has skin problems. Dr. Whites ad in the yellow pages claims to have many specialists there. But thats not true. When I got there, I found out that theres only one doctor whos NOT a SPECIALIST in ANYTHING!!! Also seems VERY interested in making lots of money.

I have dealt with Huntington Veterinary Hospital and Dr White for several years, thru several cats. The whole staff has always been wonderfully caring, concerned, and knowledgeable. These are the kind of folk who call and find our how our pets feel after surgery, or are recovering from an illness. I heartily recommend them.
