My Dog had some strange sore on her belly that kept spreading. Took her to another Vet and they just said it was a reaction to medicine and gave her a shot and sent her home. She got worst so we went to Whittier Dog and Cat Hospital. Dr Dilip treated her and it is finally healed. He had us come back once a week to make sure it was healing and it was at no charge. He treated it with several different types of medicine which all worked. We had taken another Dog to him a couple of years ago and he was the only one that told us she had kidney stones. No other Vet saw this. He is very honest. We live in NY and visit with my Mom in CA every year and when we are there we always go to Whittier Dog and Cat Animal Hospital. Tried other Vets in the Whittier area and liked them the best. They always get us in when we call even though we do not live in the area.

BUTCHERS!!!! Do not go here! They lie about the services they provide blatantly on their website and in the office. They claimed to do surgery to me and when my cat needed a colonectomy, they told me they were giving him operations when they only had given him an enema. This was an ongoing problem that could have been foreseen, prevented, treated and/or diagnosed, but they continued to just say, he is just constipated and give him laxatives. In the end, I had to put him down because because he couldnt go #2. And, then they fought with me over the fees about putting him down! Have some heart! They are so cruel and only out for the money. They will try to keep your animal instead of giving them the referral he/she needs. The only reason I found out that he needed surgery is because I LOOKED IT UP MYSELF ONLINE AND DID MY OWN RESEARCH!!

I took my dog to be boarded there because I thought with a vet on staff she would be cared for. The proof she laid in her own urine for probably days was on her bed that I brought home and had to disinfect. I picked her up early and the staff was in the process of cleaning her things to hide this. I called because she now has a rash that has brought her to bleed its so bad and all they can tell me is that they have to examine her to tell us if it was from her stay or not! Perfectly healthy before + urine and feces soaked bedding+ your care= obvious conclusion. Do not take your furry loved ones there! They will not take care of them the way they deserve to be cared for!

We have taken our dog for years to Whittier Dog and Cat Hospital. Fred is 16 years old and in good health for his age. I believe our vetenarians have helped keep Fred in good health. We have taken him for several emergencies, and hes had a couple of surgeries, etc. and always they have given him the best care, their staff are so compassionate. We recommend them highly. We now have 2 other poodles who they care for. I would like to add that at times while we are there we observe other others are also being treated with patience, kindness and much compassion. The doctors often call our home with phone calls to check on how Fred is doing. We so appreciate their TLC.

We lost our kitty this month and if anyone knows about the lost of a pet it comes just like the lost of a love one my friend lost her lucy this year also but because of the whole staff they alowed us to take our pet for one last day to all her favorite spots. Dr Dilip was so kind he stay open extra hours just so we could say good bye with knowing the pain we were feeling this speaks volumes to us and our friends who lose their family members. I let everyone know how very bless we out for this Vet and the great staff who I love Ill try to name them Lauren Evelyn Lilly Patty George and All the rest So if you love your pets you need to bring them here

Whittier Dog & Cat Hospital are inconsiderate money makers. They wont think of the best course of treatment, all they care about is making money. And, dont be persuaded by the sales pitch of their "operations" because its a lie, they DO NOT in fact do any surgery there. All they can do is lab work and give medicine. Go somewhere else if you care about your pets. This place is a just a glorified groomer! And, theyll just con money out of you to make you think they are qualified veternarians. Besides everything -- the office manager and staff are rude! They have no concept of customer service.

I love this hospital! Its right in my neighborhood. There is a walkway that leads right to it and I love taking Max (my bouncy, energetic Jack Russell) for a walk when we have an appointment. It helps calm him down by the time we get there. When we get there, we are greeted by friendly receptionists, vet aides, and the vets themselves. They take a real interest in how Max is doing, his anxiety level, etc. They seem very professional, but love to be around animals. Its a small office, but has a lot of services...even grooming! Highly recommend taking your animals there.

I was referred to Whittier Dog and Cat hospital by a friend when I adopted my first dog about 3 months ago. Dr. Agnes has been fantastic. Since the first visit she has made me aware of the responsibilities and has taken good care of my dog. I thought having a dog will be very expensive but these guys are very reasonable and work with you to make sure your pet gets the best care. The place is warm and welcoming and the staff is very friendly. I am taking my dog here to get it spayed next week and definitely recommend taking your pets here. Overall a very good hospital.

I am always skeptical of taking my pets to an animal hospital, however these guys are the best and they always make me and my pet feel very comfortable. The doctor always explains me in detail whats going on with my pet and how we can make him feel better. The staff is also very friendly. They know how to treat a client and how to make sure the pet walks out happy. I definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to have a good experience at an animal hospital.
