Our Beloved Dog Molly was very ill and took turn for the worse over the weekend. Our normal vet was not open on Monday, and we needed to find someone else to help her. Weve been to Somerton Animal Hospital previously for some testing and reached out to them for help. They fit us in on short notice and our appointment took place as scheduled. (This is something that rarely happened at our regular vet.) Dr Gulliford examined Molly and told us she was in bad shape. He did what he could to help her, but she was too far gone. We took her home and hoped for the best, but unfortunately, things didn’t go our way. Our Angel passed a day later. The point of all of this is to tell you what kind of a person Dr Gulliford is – He called numerous times to check on Molly, he treated us with compassion and made us feel like he truly cared. More importantly, we believe he truly cared. Dr Gulliford is a genuine person and if we ever get another dog, we will be going to Somerton Animal Hospital

I am grateful for the female surgeon that saved my dogs life! I hate that I forgot her name, however, I am glad I took my dog to be seen there. He was dying and puking feces. I took him to several drs and they just gave me pills for stomach problems and no improvements. When I finally took him to Somerton because he was rapidly losing weight and not eating, they right away took xrays and found the problem. My dog swallowed a paddle ball and it caused blockage. If it wasnt for them he would of died! they did surgery the same day and even worked with us on the payment. the surgeon even called me a few days after surgery to see how my pup was doing. My dogs will not go to anyone else. I am very satisfied with the staff and Drs at Somerton Animal Hospital! Keep up the great work!

This animal hosptial does NOT hold up to what they tell you on the phone. Take it from PERSONAL experience that the staff is not friendly what so ever, they quote you a price on the phone and then screw you over when you get there. THEY LIE to get you in the door to a vet tech that gets off by treating pets owners like ..... This place should be SHUT DOWN! I would rather take my cat and dog to the humain society where I KNOW they are not going to violate me and literally STEAL my money. I wish my puppy would have bit the tech. Maybe if she got bit she wouldnt have called my family liars. This is just a TASTE of the hospitality Somerton animal morgue will provide for you and yours. DO NOT GO HERE. YOU ARE WASTING YOUR TIME

We took our 20 year old cat here because she was not walking. After thoroughly looking her over the doctor (I cant remember her name) explained to us in detail what was wrong. She was very sympathetic and shared her stories with us. Unfortunately after much thought, we had to put Tiger to sleep. The doctor took her time with us, gave us some time alone with Tiger before they gave her the 2nd injection. This place is very compassionate about their patients. About a week later, we received a sympathy card from the doctor. I will DEFINITELY be bring our pets here in the future. If a doctor takes there time to follow up with a card because they care, it says something.

I have never known a vet as compassionate as Dr. Gulliford. He stayed up with one of my dogs all night and called us at 2:00 a.m. so we could stay with her. He has been treating our animals 40 years. I moved away but took my pets to see him whenever I was here. I dont know the staff. Its been a long time. But I know whose advice Ill take when it comes to trusting the right thing to do. I drove 350 miles for Dr. Gullifords opinion. I dont know what Jeanettes problem was and Im sorry she felt so badly as to write something so bitter.

I visited the vet with my chinchilla earlier this year. I havent had enough experience with the vet to say if he is an exotics expert, but he was very kind and handled my skittish girl very well. The only issue that I have is that he didnt check her teeth, and thats very important with chins. I didnt realize it until I left, but his failure to do so, left me with a few unanswered questions. I would certainly recommend the place.

We have used Somerton Animal Hospital for almost 8 years now and would never take our pets anywhere else. Dr. Cullen is amazing and recently got down on the floor with our 70 pound pit bull to give him loving and treats while examining something on his leg and foot. I recommend this vet without reservation and would give them 10 stars if they were available.

Would of gave them 5 I used them along with my family for years and years including my mother and grandmother. Just asked to fax my files so I can see them and got very rude and unprofessional so yea I will never do business with them again

Dr. Gulliford and his staff are incredible, compassionate and really care, not only about the pets, but also the pet owner. Highly, highly recommended...dont even hesitate about bringing your dog or cat to this fantastic vet!
