Let me paint a picture for you. These wonderful, and caring people have been there for me as a new puppy owner since December of 2015. I had always loved their staff, and although they were not the most inexpensive vet - I loved the care and devotion that the staff - from the vet to the groomers- attended to my fur-babies. My babies look forward to their visits, and adore the staff. After 5 months of having my pups, one of them went into a crisis and was diagnosed with Addisons disease. This is a forever thing, medicine and shots every month. My heart was broken for my baby, but my husband and I chose to move forward because we found that with proper care she would lead a very healthy life. Blackhorse worked with the Emergency ER that we needed to take her to as the incident happened on a weekend, and the extended care they have provided has been phenominal. They were willing to help accomidate the costs in whatever way they could to give me a full spectrum of options. Just recently, they were able to find limited coupons to help redeem some of the money we spend - and this can help pay for her extended care. I really love this clinic. Although Id like to be stingy, and keep them all to myself, they deserve to grow, and help others.

We have used Blackhorse for several years for our family dog. She has severe allergies which have been so much better since working with Dr. Endsley. Dr. Endsley is extremely up to date on different options and is very knowledgeable in her pet care. She and Dr. Schneider both have a great bedside manner with our pets. The staff is always helpful and willing to relay questions and set up appointments. When my moms old dog was passing away, they even helped through that process and even sent a sweet card signed by everyone after the death. I love that they know me when I call. Its a big practice with an even bigger heart. I cant say enough good things about Blackhorse!

A few things that are unique about this Vet, he takes the time to speak with you about your pet and doesnt make you feel rushed. They also provide the Rx so that I could purchase the meds for my pet online, not all vets will do that. They did a wonderful job to make me feel at ease when my 9 yr old morkie had to be put under to have her teeth cleaned and they took great care of her while she was in observation after the procedure. I was looking for a new groomer so I tried Amanda and was so elated that they were able to get her in and out so fast, my Bella looked great and did not have to spend the whole day at the groomers. I highly recommend!

Our mini schnauzer became very ill and we had to rush her to Blackhorse Animal Hospital. Turns out she had an infected uterus. Poor girl. The vet said the surgery would cost 400.00 but really anywhere else would have charged well over 1500.00. These people really put the love of the animals and their human companions above profit. I will bring my dogs here from now on for the rest of their lives. If you need a vet, come here. These people are kind, compassionate, and understanding. They dont just treat you like a number or rush you through the process. The vet here actually takes the time to talk with you and explain in detail what is going on.

Dr. Schneider and his staff are, with no question, class acts. I took my 4 month old puppy, Brienne of Bark, into their office after an accidental electric shock and they saw her right away, came to a very educated diagnosis, explained everything better than any human doc ever has to me, stabilized her over the next 5 hours, and charged us about 50% of what I estimated it would be. They even have the integrity to not do unnecessary tests, and even called the next day to check in. This office will now handle all of my vet needs, at least until my 9-year-old becomes a vet himself (according to him). Highly recommended.

We have been going to Blackhorse Animal Hospital with our 2 dogs for 4 years now. We picked them due to proximity to our house. We have had nothing but great experiences there. The staff is always so very friendly when you walk in. Dr. Endsley is really top notch. She always explains things really well and the care that she takes with my dogs is really appreciated. I now they are getting the best care I can get them, and it is very affordable. I would recommend this hospital to any and all pet owners, in and out of the area. They are first rate!
