I didnt "hate it" the first time or the second, but this time I was so upset I am not going there again. My dog needed 4 shots to update his vaccinations. I called on Tuesday June 9th to see if I could bring him in that day since I was not working. They asked if I would be okay with a "drop off" appt. I agreed and had to have him there before noon. I dropped him off at 11:30am... didnt hear anything by 5pm. I called and a technician said that she would pull his vaccines out and have the doctor do his vaccines when he came out of the room with his present "patient". She was to call me when the doctor was ready for my dog. No call by 6pm. They close at 7pm and I live about 20 min away in traffic... and if you know Houston, then YOU know! So, I called again and told them I was coming to get him whether he was done or not. The technician told me the doctor had an emergency. How about a phone call to explain to me, and probably other clients, what was going on? and what happened during the hours BEFORE the emergency?!! When I got there to pick him up they told me the cost, which was $40 more than what I was told when I dropped him off. They said it was for ear ointment... did anyone call me in that 7 hours to say he needed something for his ears? Nope, so I paid what I was quoted. They brought my dog out and he was crying, crying, crying... because it turns out that they had never let him out or given him any water in that 7 hours. I only know that because he DRAGGED me outside and then immediately went thru 3 bowls of water when he got home. Thats how they treat "drop off" appointments... so dont do them!

We had such a GREAT experience here. Our rescued cat has developed an allergy to something and scratched her face (eyes, mouth, ears, ...) until it bleed. Being first time pet parents we were very stressed and anxious about taking her to the vet for the first time and worried they couldnt help much since allergies can be hard to diagnosis. But I want to give a BIG shout out to "Terry". She was extremely nice and reassuring. She talked to us, explained everything, and was really friendly. She made us feel so much better, and even gave us advice about what things we SHOULD buy that were useful for our cat, and which ones would only be a waste of money. She didnt try to sell us stuff just for the shake of it. She really had our cats best interest in mind. She was also super sweet to our cat. We left Banfield gushing about how nice she was, and how much she helped us, and making sure any other time we go back, she is working. PS. Within 24 hours our cat looks like a different cat. Her improvement has been amazing. I dont know if they changed staff lately, but I cannot phantom how anyone could complain about them. I could give them 10 stars if I could.

I have a very anxious rescue dog and have been bringing him here for over a year. The staff has always been very friendly and accommodating to my dogs needs and even get me into a room to wait since my dogs anxiety makes him hard to handle with other dogs around. The staff seems to genuinely like him and he always has a positive response to them so I know they treat him well. I am very proactive so I make sure my questions are asked and answered before services are performed and also before I leave with my dog so there is never any confusion later. The Wellness Program is a great way to afford quality pet care and their hours are more convenient than a stand-alone vet office. They do need some improvement on their "on hold" times but I have witnessed them taking care of the clients in front of them which causes a longer wait for those calling. All in all, I am very happy with the services I receive here.

poor service. They are a Rude. they wanted me to place my dog in a dirty scale. i asked them to clean it and the declined. i know for a fact its company policy to clean that scale after each pet. i mean if they dont follow procedure in the check in who knows how clean the back area is. ... i only brought it it to this one because its the closest to my home. i next time i will make the 1hr drive to the normal location.

Poor service, bad attitudes from the staff. I will never come to this Banfield again. If they treated me bad imagine my dogs. The lady in the front was so rude she looked down the whole time she was attending me and rolled her eyes when I asked questions about dog.

Dr helped me figure out my dog didnt really have heartworms when a previous clinic had lied to me and told me she did have them and made me purchase expensive sterioeds and antibiotics for no reason
