I went to this office for a minor ear infection. At first, I was amazed at the level of service I received. The NP Kari Groth-Rickard was very attentive to my needs and explained everything about my ear infection in detail - even drawing me a picture. She also talked to me about getting a physical done so she could refer me to a different specialist for other issues. I was very appreciative if just how professional and caring she was. This past week, I went for my check up and to get my physical done. I was told I could come in that morning to get both things done. It sounded great. However, when I had a totally negative experience with Dr. Suchitra Kaminemi. When I got there, I was informed that she could not give me a physical because it needed to be done on a day when the NP was there. Why would they tell me I can on the phone then? That is poor customer service that wastes my time and money for another appointment. When I went in I also told her the medical assistant my ear was still hurting and I still had congestion. She checked my ear and told me she was happy to see everything looked good. I told her that my ear was still hurting so there must be something else still going on. She looked at me puzzled and said "what do you want to do about it?" This question absolutely baffled me...I want my ear healed! I do not have a medical degree, shouldt she be telling me what to do? The whole time I was there it felt like she wanted to shoo me out of the office. I will never go back to see Dr. Suchitra again and if it were not for the stellar NP Kari Groth-Rickard, I would not return at all. She is the only reason I give a couple of stars.

Horrible experience! The front desk check in was okay... the triage nurse was fantastic! But when it came to my daughter seeing the doctor, ( Pannaben Nangha) she was terrible! She seemed distracted and rushing us to speak... my daughter (9) was explaining her pain and she didnt finish before the Dr asked her to be quiet and say augghh... We didnt finish explaining her symptoms, and the Dr was done and ready for us to go. She spent less than a minute in the room after we waiting for an hour. I had to ask her to look at my daughters ears, which was one of the issues she was having. She then seemed very irritated and said, "It will do no good, but ok". I was beyond frustrated at that point. She had no bed side manner and frankly seemed very irritated which doesnt help hurting, sick people who have waited an hour for their time with the Dr. I then expressed how I felt about her not being very thorough and her rudeness and she exploded on me in front of the other patients in the waiting room. She raised her voice and would not stop yelling. I believe she may be a ticking time bomb! It was awful, and unbelievable and almost comical. I will never do that again! My poor girl said, Momma I can pay for the Dr if that was the problem. ... No baby, You were not the problem and its not about the money! Well it must be for the Dr. Im sure it was because we didnt have insurance that she didnt want to waist her time on us. We are still a paying patient! Her treatment was uncalled for and unfair! Never again! Shame on you...

This is the worst facilty I have encountered. My husband had pnuemonia and at the time he was diagnosed with bronchitis. He told the Dr due to the cough he needed cough medicine with codine the Dr. did not listen to him and gave him what they wanted to give him. It took 3 trips and finally the office in Mansfield, Dr.Nangha treated him immediately and provided him with what he asked and needed and about an hour later they called to tell him he had pnuemonia. I went to the Midlothian office a week ago hoping it was an isolated issue with the office and once again I was not given the meds I asked for. A week later still sick and symptons are worse. Asked Dr. to call in different meds and he wants me to come in so he can re evalute me. Are you serious!!!! He didnt listen to me the first time what makes him think I will give him more money to do nothing again. The staff is not very friendly they need some training in compassion and how to really handle patients. I am in healthcare and heres a tip listen to your patients. Also, if you need to go to a clinic go to the Mansfield office. Friendlier staff and I love the Dr. that treated my husband and she treated my son.

I will never come to this office again. Took my 4 year old in because he had puss pockets on his throat and a rash covering his body. Told the nurse everything and the female doctor came in, rushed through the examination, barely looked at his throat and said everything was fine. I asked about the pockets on his throat and she looked again and saw them. Said she would prescribe him an antibiotic and rushed out the door. Literally spent about 1 min with us. I went to the front desk and asked her to send the doctor back in about his rash. She came back in and said "you didnt tell me about his rash." Well, you didnt give me time and I also told the nurse. She said the nurse doesnt tell her everything. She then told me it was Eczema. Im not a doctor and I know that you dont suddenly break out over your entire body with Eczema and its not controlled with Benedryl (which I informed her I gave to him and it controlled it). Told me to put lotion on him and rushed us out, acted like she was bothered we were there in the first place and didnt give my child the attention he needed to come to a legit prognosis. I am completely appalled by this experience and will not return.

I came in for the first time to have a physical and pap smear. The nurse was very nice, but Dr. Nangha was running late, and showed it in her exam with me. We started off with the p.s., which she seemed annoyed that she had to do it, and she didnt even check my breasts. Then she rushed out the door and I was sent to the lab for blood work for the physical part. I thought I would see her again to finish the physical, but they sent me on my way. Im pretty sure part of the physical is to sit down with your patient and talk about any concerns, like the chest pain Ive been having, check the heart, ears, throat, and reflexes, and she didnt do any of that. Not a very thorough physical at all. Plus the light kept going off in the room while I was waiting. It was a motion detector so I had to keep throwing my arm up to keep the light on every 30 seconds. After 15 or so minutes of doing that, I got annoyed and tired of it and just sat there in a dark room waiting. Very strange.

After moving to the Midlothian area, we asked our former health care professionals for the names of doctors or practices they would recommend based on our wide range of needs. Dr. Kamineni was highly recommended and today, my wife, my elderly mother and I all see Dr. Kamineni as our primary care physician. Dr. Kamineni is very knowledgeable, professional and works hard to develop a strong relationship with us as patients and people. In every visit, she listens to us and fully answers our many questions. She clearly communicates each diagnosis and recommended treatments and has made a number of personal phone calls to follow up on our progress. She has also helped us tremendously as we made our way through the current confusing health insurance system being both considerate of our time and money. Overall, Dr. Kamineni’s superb professional care and our greatly improved health speak for the kind of Dr. she truly is. We highly recommend the practice of Dr. Kamineni.
