The worst, most uncaring, degrading and insensitive doctors I have ever seen. New to area, had prior medical records and diagnosis, needed refills. Have severe PTSD and pain from broken neck complications. They questioned my prior records which detailed the attack and injuries I incurred. They warned me of falsifying medical records and said the state watches those who get controlled medications. (Ive been on klonopin as well as antidepressants for PTSD and Ultracet for pain...low doseages to take as needed) I was given referrals to a state run mental health facility for an appointment three months away and a state run pain clinic appointment two months away. I was accused of not taking my antidepressants because I was getting upset and worried about the klonopin withdrawals, which any physician worth a salt knows can be deadly. Then was charged an incredibly high co pay. Theres a reason these incapable excuses for doctors work in public walk in clinics. They are pathetic and dangerous.

I came to this clinic after the PI medical clinic couldnt perscribe me antibiotics for my kidney infection. I have horseshoe kidneys and have kidney stones very often.I dont have a lot of money to pay a kidney doctor $450 every time I have to get antibiotics. Any way, long story short. I walked in around 11:20 am. I saw the doctor for 2 minutes, then i realized that he was in a hury to go to lunch. He didnt let me tell him what MY body was feeling. These doctors in port isabel just dont care about what the patient feels. I recomend that if you are feeling sick to go to a doctor in brownsville instead. They ask you what you feel, before they tell you what you have.

If I could give -5 stars, I would. The Nurse Practitioner, Gail Heinz was so horrible to me that I left in tears. My Dad was in Hospice in Houston and I was driving back that same day to be with him during his final days and when I apologized for crying, she smirked at me. The refill process was ridiculous. I filled out paperwork so that they could obtain my medical records, and they didnt do it. This experience has made me now even more fearful of having to go into the doctor. Just horrible.

Whatever these previous reviews allege, my spouse and I are living proof of the unequal, Professional, and dedicated service, these Medical Clinic is dispensing to everyone requiring assistance. In fact, its been many years since any Doctor or Assistant spent that much time being genuinely concerned with our health. Our best wishes to everyone there!

This is a very small community, only a few places to go to see a doctor, and she is very good and professional. This is the only clinic in our area that has a Doctor in house. I am not sure if the doctor was at lunch when the person who commented was there? Sometimes the wait is awhile but better than driving 35 miles each way.

My wife was treated with kindness andrespect. But when my turn came she was the most disrespectful person I have ever encountered. The staff however is kind to everyone. I dont think she likes men too well, so if you are a man dont go here whatever you have to do, wherever you must go, do it, or go there!

Moved here recently with years of taking the same medications. Was treated like a druggie. Terrible bedside manner and no empathy, doctors are afraid to prescribe my meds with extensive records to back it up. Heads up docs not everyone is a drug addict, go elsewhere at all costs.

I was a walk in patient that had been there many years ago! The staff was very professional and willing to help. The PA who helped me was covering for one of the doctors. She was wonderful. I would definitely go back again to this location.
