Short version: - Money hungry Dr. who has accumulated more patients than he can possibly handle by himself. Cuts you off when you speak or asks questions. - Lazy staff that lacks compassion for their jobs. On top of that extremely rude. - Dont visit this office unless you truly want to wait for a good hour in the waiting room. Another 30 minutes in a check up room, then less than 5 minutes of actual time of seeing the Dr. or any other medical staff. I have to agree with Malik below. Ive been going to Dr. Gao for about 3 years now; and at the beginning, he was very thorough with his exams and explained everything to me clearly. However, the past few times Ive gone back, I was treated like dirt. Im currently enrolled in school and had to get a few preventative care check ups for school requirement (tb test, flu shot, physical,...). Upon completing his quick exam, he then tells me to go ahead and pay with the girls up front. I was a little confused since my insurance covers 100% on all preventative care check ups including office visits and Ive never had to ever pay before. But I was already late to work and really didnt think it through. So I went ahead and paid. I later called back to get an understanding why I had to pay in the first place and the girl at the front desk told me that I had to pay before they could bill my insurance. And I wouldnt know if the insurance has paid for another week or so. I called back a week later seeing if anything had processed through and I kept getting the run around for another 3 weeks. They kept telling me that I wasnt covered for any of the exams he performed. I called my insurance and found out that they billed the insurance company under an illness visit. I WASNT EVEN SICK! I JUST CAME TO GET A PHYSICAL CHECK UP! Another few weeks went by and finally I received my refund back. The front desk girls are a bunch of lazy and lack any compassion for their job. They told me that they are unable to reverse what has been sent to insurance. Im sorry to say this but I work in the healthcare industry as well and deal with insurance everyday. Dont tell me you cant reverse it. Never will I go back to this money hungry Dr., who over time has gotten more patients than he can handle. **This whole thing seems a bit all over the place since Im really upset at the current moment**

I have been going to this dr since 1998 and cannot complain, yes, sometimes the wait time in the lobby is long, but isnt most drs offices? I have been to specialists and have the same thing happen. I believe he has great bedside manner, the office staff has been most helpful and professional. I have found the physician to be most accurate of most drs I have dealt with and am surprised that some of you have this type of opinion. Maybe he just did not give you the pills you thought you needed? hmm? Also, one time I paid, they gave me a check back since the insurance company was slow at paying....it also, takes time for the insurance companies to verify if they dont have an automated service...

My husband been seeing Dr. Gao for the last 13 yrs. He is been seeing him 4-6 times a year. He listen to my husband concern. Yes, the wait was long it depends upon how busy they were....My daughter and I been seeing him at least once a year for our yearly check up, for the last 10 yrs. He is our primary doctor. In my opinion, he is the best!!!

I have gone to Dr. Gao for a few years now. His new location is great! Very clean. Staff is always so kind. Dr Gao always listens and provides great care. I have never had to wait very long at all... I usually go very early in the morning... when they open... I love them!

The wait time is very long even with an appointment. The place doesnt look very clean. Doctor rushed to finish the visit and didnt listen to my concerns. The walls are very think everybody can listen whats going on. No privacy at all. I wont be goin back.

Have gone to Dr. GAO for years. He has always put the patients best interest first. I dont know how hes still in business because he never charges needlessly, I guess thats how he does it. I would definitely recommend him.
