At my latest appointment, I was in tears, as no positive treatment/cure seemed possible. I felt very little compassion, as a matter of fact, the nurse, doc or checkout person did not even acknowledge my tears. When I went to the checkout area, I was hassled regarding my bill, while still visibly upset. I told her what I was able to pay at that moment and she continued to say "but your amount due is $160." I told her I was aware and that could make a small payment then and the rest in a couple weeks. She said 2 more times "but your amount due is $160." I told her I WANTED to make the payment, I just couldnt right then! Yesterday I called to ask for a prescription refill and was told I would receive a phone call when it was ready. No call yet today, so around 2:30 I called to check on it. I was told it had been placed at the front desk yesterday, but no one called me to tell me it was ready! We rushed over there to arrive before 5, as we live about 14 miles across town. When I got there at 4:53, no prescription could be found. I was told that notes were in their system stating that the rx was written and put up at the front desk. It was nowhere to be found and my doctor was gone for the day. Another doctor was there and kindly rewrote the rx for me, or else I wouldnt gone all weekend without my medication. This is the 2nd time I have not received a call about picking up an rx. It is possible that a surgeon from here may perform surgery on me. Should I be nervous about that? Is this how others are treated?

Im very angry with Ortho Texas. I have had a surgery date and time scheduled for a couple of weeks now. I was checking my messages this evening and I had a reminder message to be at the clinic at 6:30 a.m. tomorrow morning for my procedure, even though my procedure is not scheduled until 11:00 a.m. Of course its after hours now, and I cant get a hold of anyone to confirm what time my procedure is. There was no mention in the voice message as to whether this was a change in schedule or was possibly a mistake on the part of the person leaving the message. Now I suppose that Ill have to be at the clinic at 6:30 a.m. tomorrow morning which is a major inconvenience to me and the people who are providing my transportation. You dont wait until the last minute to move people around without checking with them first! Very unprofessional!

Wait time was slightly unreasonable but the office staff here are extremely unprofessional and God forbid you arent made of money and need to request any amount of time to pay out a balance. The doctor was very informative; the billing department was rude, unreasonable, and just flat out lied to me. I will be taking my business elsewhere regardless of the quality of treatment...(which after paying 25% of a months salary just last week) I am unabe to receive. Find anywhere to spend your hard earned money...you are just a number here.

Dr. Sethi is an AMAZING professional. She has GREAT bedside manners. However, the staff at front desk are VERY unprofessional. On 2 different occasions I have heard them talking about patients loudly & rudely in front of other patients. As a fellow nurse in the field I find this very disappointing and a turn off. This last time I went in to pick up my file copies they were cursing and talking down on a man questing his out of pocket expense. If they cant handle working with patients they should probably change fields...................

Doctors and nurses do their jobs well. Front desk clerks, billing, etc...rude, unprofessional, and unacceptable. Latest incident, I asked for an explanation for an additional bill that was sent 1.5 YEARS after service. I got an invoice in the mail with no explanation. I left a message to have someone please call to explain. No call, no explanation, just sent to collections instead. Im clearly just another number to them so I choose to take my business elsewhere after paying the collections account.

Weve worked with both Dr. Graehl and Dr. Heier for orthopedic issues for my mother. Theyve both been very professional and caring. Both have done a great job in trouble-shooting issues and very careful to come up with the right solution for her. Were still working with both of them on issues, but weve felt more confident with both of them than we have with any other surgeons weve worked with and highly recommend both!

I had a lumbar procedure in 2012 with Dr. James Guess. The surgery was an unequivocal success and I continue to be thrilled with the outcome and my newfound, pain-free mobility. Dr. Guess and his staff are extremely responsive and caring, and Baylor took very good care of me. I will agree that wait times can be ridiculous; Ive spent as long as two hours trying to get through a simple follow-up.

Not too sure about a medical facility that doesnt have medical records personnel available during operating hours. You see hundreds of patients daily, why is there no one who can make records/films available to request on any day youre open? And to wait 72 hours, is the medical records in a different city? MRI was readily available on disc for us on the same day at another clinic!

Dr. Sethi is amazing, really wants to help, and explains things very well. BUT the wait time is insanely long. Every appointment I have had to sit in the room waiting for the doctor for about an hour, sometimes longer. Looks like Im not the only one who has had this issue based on some of the other reviews. Very very very slow.

Front desk staff is very unprofessional and rude. When I called the site director to complain, she almost dismissed my concerns and never really listened to my side of the story. She was very condescending. The doctors are wonderful, but I wont go there anymore just because of the way you are treated by the office staff!!

Have had great experiences for my son and my husband here. Doctors are always willing to explain the issues and review the treatment plan. They are always extra cautious and my son has pleasantly recovered each time (torn ligaments, broken foot, sprained ankles, shoulder issues). I love that they offer clinic times too!

I had to figure out whether insurance would cover my visit on my own. They use three different companies for radiologist, MRI company, and doctors office visit, all with their own billing processes and insurance policies. All three are unwilling to help you figure out what you can expect to pay.

Best place for anything related to bones or muscle. I have gone here for a fractured ankle, sprained thumb, and a herniated disc. They have the most advaced equipment and great staff. I dont have insurance but i still perfer to pay out of pocket than go somewhere else.

Simply put, this is a place filled with professionals. From front desk to doc to assistant to xray tech. All are pro and are just doing their job the right way. It is nice to see a place like that, it is not that common. Highly recommend it

When dealing with Jennifer in billing, she was very unprofessional and not helpful at all. She treated me like a criminal. I would not refer anyone here until they coach and train their employees better. Where is the customer service?
