Avoid this place and this “doctor” at all cost. I am 60 years old and have never had such a negative medical experience. I went twice and each time it took me over three hours to get in and out of there. You will not be seen at anywhere near your appointment time. The first time I went I saw a PA because the doctor was not on site. When I went back 2 weeks later for my follow-up, the PA and the front desk staff had all quit. On that visit I saw Dr. Catherine Okoronkwo herself. This woman got her medical degree in Nigeria, which I have no problem with, but she speaks almost no English so there was little communication between doctor and patient. She was very smug and not the least bit friendly. She spent the entire time staring at her computer and listened to nothing I said, so it wasn’t surprising that she called in the wrong medications to my pharmacy. She told me I needed to see a neurologist for extremity pain then referred me to a nephrologist, which is a kidney specialist. She did not catch her mistake. I asked for a referral (required by my insurance) to a dermatologist and she referred me to one over an hour from my house. I live in a major metropolitan area and there are dozens of dermatologists right here in town. And perhaps the worst thing of all is that the place is FILTHY. The covers on the exam tables are torn open and there is dirty foam rubber sticking out of the holes. I can only imagine what has soaked into that stuff. If I wasn’t infected with anything when I went in I certainly am now. This is a Third World operation and should be shut down! I completely wasted my time and money. They make you pay your co-pay BEFORE you see the doctor and now I know why.

When I say this was the absolute worst experience I have ever had, I would be too kind. Assuming Catherine Okoronkwos degree came from ITT Technical institute AFTER it shut down is the only logical explanation I could justify regarding the service I received today. Im still in awe. She didnt look me in the face not once throughout the duration of my time in her office. She appeared very inexperienced and had no interest in my concern. Going day by day for the last few months feeling as if my head is about to explode from scalp issues, she looked at her screen and said" oh you have dandruff." I further explained the severe pain I endure constantly and she said well there is nothing she can do. She expected me to settle for a dandruff diagnosis and a selsum blue prescription. I walked out discouraged and hurt because I hate when people go in to such a field and could care less about the patient. The only good experience was with the nice sweet young lady at the front desk. If youre ever considering this doctor you have a better chance of allowing Flava Flav to diagnose you... he would probably be more accurate than this horrid place. Save yourself the disappointment.

THE WORST CLINIC/DR OFFICE I HAVE EVER BEEN TO. I had no idea I was having blood drawn when I scheduled my yearly exam and no one told me I needed to fast overnight in order for them to pull blood (my last doctors office didnt require fasting). Needless to say that didnt get done, and there was no availability for more than another week to reschedule. They then tell me after my appointment that I will need to schedule ANOTHER appointment just to get my exam results. What!?!? Since when do I have to take time out of my busy schedule to make an additional trip to this place and wait around for who knows how long just to be told I am 100% healthy and thanks for stopping by? I could understand it if something was wrong but not just to say "alls well". I am beyond fed-up with this place. I will be changing doctors immediately and absolutely getting my bloodwork done somewhere else. If their cleanliness is anything like it looks from the waiting area, exam rooms and bathroom I dont want needles from this place anywhere near me. Do yourself a favor and find an actual professional practice to attend your medical needs.

I advise all her patient find another doctor, this Doctor Catherine Okoronkwo is eventually harmful for their patients, because being disorganize with all staff members,who cannot found any patient result and any important result for their patients. and being very rude with their patient make the patient blood pressure going up and also waiting time for 4 to 5 hours everyday for just a small thing to sign by Doctor. unfortunattly beside being very rude and prejudice of all employees who work for her, they are very irresponsible and useless, they barely work with their patient need. This office is very dangerous for patient who already is sick. Those employees like Monica, Jennifer and the rest make patients more sicker than they are. Their staff member loses all important document every day and we have to ask for refax it and refax it again and again.

Like the review said below, rude and disorganized. I scheduled a wellness checkup or thats what I thought I did. They had me come in 3 different times for Im not sure what. The first visit I waited 2 hours to get vitals taken and then was told that because I wasnt fasting they couldnt do bloodwork. So that means another visit and another copay. And then the 3rd visit was to check lab results and another copay. They check my vitals again. Put me in a room and the wait begins. An assistant just walked in and put another patients paperwork on the table in front of me, not my paperwork. So where does my information end up? No wonder theres such a problem as identity theft. My timer is still running, see how long this visit takes.

Should have paid heed to the reviews, but did not and paid the price for it. Worst customer service one would find. Although they had asked for insurance information a day before I went for the actual appointment, nothing was done. And I like a good patient arrived 10 minutes early for my appointment which was scheduled for 3.15 p.m. Till 4.30 nobody attended to me. After an hour and a half of waiting, I walked out because nobody seemed to care. They said something about talking to my insurance company, and I dont think anyone there knows what they are doing.

i had an appointment at her office in mesquite tx. and before i was called in the dr (Margaret okonomokwo)office the patient before me was coughing a lot n i ask the dr to spray lysol. she refused an called next patient and refused to see me. how can a doctor reguse to see you because u look out for your own health. I never saw dr Catherine okoromokwo. out of 2yrs. i dont no what these ladies are doig as so called doctors i eoll file a complant against Dr Margaret Okonomokwo.
