Alright, most people writing bad reviews did something and are just lashing out, but I honestly am taking time to write my first actually negative review for these guys. I had issues in my stomach and have no insurance, so I called and scheduled just a consultation. The phone appointment setting went as such: What is the issue you are having? How long has it been going on? Do you have insurance? And i got the price for the visit. That is ALL THAT WAS SAID. However by the time the week of my appointment came, I ended up i the ER for the issue. Thus when they called my fiance told them to please hold, and tried to get me up, but I was not able to. So, I decided not to go in because of being too busy after I got better. I moved and today I received a BILL for $150 dollars for "failure to cancel appt" Really? They claim it is legal to bill people without notice of fees and such, but just a warning, do not waste your time on crooks like this who start charging you without consent. I would understand if they told me there would be a fee if I did not officially cancel, but they did not. And when I called them about it the woman said oh it is legal, and we can charge you what we want. How rude is that? I wonder how many people lose money to these guys? I understand cancelling an appointment as far as manners, but I dont believe legally you should be able to charge people hundreds of dollars without notice when they make the appointment Betty, just a word of advice.. you should mention "if you fail to cancel your appointment we do charge a fee" should be said before you let people hang up on the first call, dont CLAIM you called back to tell them there would be a fee. That is shady and you know it. Shame on this business.

Not sure what planet the people that have written negative review are from, but ALL Doctors now days have a no show/no cancel fee. Dr. Sanders is a busy man and you took up his time. Of course you will get a bill from the hospital, his practice is not the hospital the procedure was done at. You used their beds, their room, their air, their time, their nurses and so on. It is not the Doctors fault that you do not know what you are paying for/getting. Dr. Sanders is a wonderful Doctor, period. He knows what he is doing, so much so that I have had other Doctors in the same type of practice/specialty tell me that they would/have gone to him themselves. Please do not give a Doctor a bad review because you are not an informed patient/consumer.

I went to this doctor strictly as a preventative measure. I observed some blood in my stool and wanted to get checked out. Sanders looked me over and could not find anything. He then suggested getting a colonoscopy strictly as a precaution. I agreed to the procedure and paid the $146 co-pay I was told I had. Nothing was found and I was given a clean bill of health. However, a couple of months later I received a bill from Baylor Medical Center of Carrollton telling me I owed them $225. It turns out that Sanders did not put down that the procedure was preventative. Now I have creditors for Baylor calling and demanding the $225. As a doctor this guy is okay. However, his staff is composed of total morons. Avoid this place.

Previous reviewers were correct regarding the rude office workers. Mandy contacted me five times in one day regarding my insurance information for an appointment three days out. I informed her I was in route to a meeting with my Vice President during the first conversation. I received four calls within two hours requesting the information. When I returned her call I stated that I was in a very important meeting regarding layoffs and was unable to talk. I was rudely informed that my appointment was going to be canceled without the information! I asked if it was imperative at that very moment or would a call by midday suffice. Consumers have the right to seek another doctor.

I agree. Staff is rude EVERY time I call them or they call me. The staff is incompetent as well. They never answer any question correctly. I like the doctor but hate the doctors staff.

Office staff is good and probably better, but I usually feel bad when I call. Otherwise, Dr. Sanders is an excellent doctor, very knowledgeable, thorough and kind.
