I have had lots of trouble with my teeth over the years, have lived in many different states and therefore had many different dentists. Dr. Joshua Hong is the best I have come across - not just for his skill but his character. I often rely on my intuition for a vibe of the environment and the dentist themselves and this is the primary thing I go off, rather than skill in itself. Upon the first visit I immediately liked him - right off the bat - as he is very humble and talks to you like a friend. You can be comfortable being yourself around him. He takes a lot of pride in his work and takes it very seriously (not that other dentists Ive been to dont, but I felt Dr. Joshua Hong had a degree of precision and care I hadnt seen in many other dentists). But the thing that stuck out the most to me was just his honest and kind character. I actually feel it is rare to meet someone like him anywhere. I also loved his office (which is relaxing and decorated more like a spa or a lounge) as well as the team that works with him. Three of them that I have briefly met so far have been very kind. I had already had a dentist here in Phoenix that I had normally seen but one day I literally googled "Dentists Goodyear, AZ" and picked him out of a few dentists without doing much research. I went to Dr. Joshua Hong for a second opinion and I will never regret it, as he is definitely my new dentist!

He is AMAZING! I had a weekend emergency, and he came in on a Sunday - without an assistant to put my teeth back together. My dog jumped into my teeth and broke the front two in half. He showed me before and afters of different options we had to fix the teeth. He was totally honest - and wanted to keep my real teeth, and give me the most cost effective option. When I was hemming and hawing of what to do, he share if it was my daughter... I hate going to the dentist, causes me serious anxiety - He took his time with the consultation and helped put me at ease. I was actually relaxed, and did not need to be put out! His office is the CLEANEST office I have ever been to, you feel safe and comfortable right away. He is up to date with technology. He is a perfectionist - and will spend the extra time to make your teeth perfect (or back to how they were). The fact that Dr Hong came in on a Sunday, fixed my teeth, no assistant, no office staff... Truly an amazing dentist. I am forever indebted to him! I highly recommend him.

Spectacular dentist. I havent been to the dentist in years, always felt like torture, but I was referred to Dr Hong repeatedly by another patient, and so I drove across town. While waiting in the lobby I asked other patients about there experience and WOW, the same story over and over, people who had tried many dentists in their lifetime and never had a great experience till finding Dr Hong. Todays visit was amazing -- Dr Hong was patient and polite, always informed me about what he was doing and why and asked permission before doing anything. The staff was wonderful and the place was beautiful, the technology all state-of-the-art, so no pinching on x-rays, a screen to show me the diagnostics and what he sees, and not an uncomfortable moment in the entire visit (and I came in with tooth pain, not just a checkup).

I went to Dr. Hong for a dental emergency, I was greeted by his highly professional staff who instantly make you feel at home in the most tranquil setting one could ever imagine. If only all dentist could make an office as inviting as his, and be as thoughtful enough of his patients environment when one is usually stressed out. The soothing relaxing environment with the fresh minted foggers was like tranquility walking into such a serene setting that any stress I had was instantly removed and his staff greets you with enthusiasm, peacefulness and offers you a drink or coffee immediately upon entering the offices. The Magazines, Art books and other reading materials leaves one feeling like they just went on a unique vacation. I will be going to Dr. Hong as long as I can.

I am the biggest Wimp!! as far as the getting my teeth looked at. I had put it off for over 7 years. I have a horrible gag reflex and dread having my teeth looked at. I was considering the implications of not going -v- the pain i was beginning to feel. I asked everyone who they liked and My chiropractor suggested Dr. Hong.. I made the appointment and gained enough courage to go in. He made the experience amazing!!! introduced me to the gas that has been used in the practice of dentistry for years and he was able to get a full set of x-rays and fix my teeth with -0- I mean Zero discomfort… After 7 months I even went back for a cleaning, and again had Zero discomfort.. The staff and care from Dr Hong is outstanding… I recommend to all "wimps" go see Dr Hong !!!

Joshua Hong DDS is a welcoming and personable dentist. From the moment I walked in the door I felt like I was not in a dental office. The impression of the office is similar to what you would expect from a spa treatment. The waiting room is incredibly relaxing and the staff is very friendly. Dr. Hong is knowledgeable and uses this knowledge to help me become more aware of my dental health. My fiance recommended me to come to this dentist because of his knowledge and personable approach. I am so glad I decided to make Dr. Hong my dentist. This is a wonderful dental office!

Dr. Hong is the best dentist Ive ever had. Im having major work done and was very nervous for my first appointment. His staff was extremely nice which made me feel a lot better about my decision to go to the dentist. (I hated going to the dentist) Dr. Hong completely changed my perception of dentists. He is very caring, thorough and takes the time to really explain things to you. I will have Dr. Hong as my dentist indefinitely and have recommended him to everyone I know in the Phoenix area. Amazing service and has exceeded my expectations on every level! Dr. Hong and his staff are very knowledgeable and caring. He took the time to explain to me about each procedure, never made me feel rushed, never "scolded" me for my dental care, didnt try to "sell" me any dental work, and was very gentle with those scary dental tools. Karen and the rest of his staff is very friendly and accomodating. Very contemporary, clean office as well. I honestly didnt know I could like a dentist so much until I visited here...

Dr Hong is the most thorough, gentle, and perfection seeking dentist I have EVER met. The chance to have him reconstruct my smile was the best opportunity of a lifetime; he not only had an amazing team internally, but externally as well. If it werent for the chance meeting that occurred, and my sudden change of dentists at the last moment, I am positive I would not have all that I do today. I am so grateful that my teeth were done by the smile studio, I would never go anywhere else for work ever again.
