My family (husband and 2 young boys) and myself have been coming to the Zeeland office since the beginning of 2015. We all go in every 6 months for regular cleanings and our yearly x-rays. We brush, floss, use mouth wash..etc. to help prevent cavities. My 5 year old son was in at the end of January for a cleaning and xrays. They told me that he had 6 cavities and needed a root canal. (im not sure what the technical name for it is) Very confused on why he needed so much work done especially since he never complained about any tooth/mouth pain and the doctor never mentioned before that they were watching any teeth. I set up all 3 of my sons appointments that were needed to fix his cavities and left the office confused and unsure. I had my sons carts and xrays sent over to another local dentist for a second opinion. They looked at my sons xrays and did an actual exam and could not believe they said my son needed all that work done! Their was only 1 sign of a possible cavity that they would watch but didnt need to be fixed since it wasnt terrible and it is on a baby tooth, otherwise all the other work Comfort Family Dentistry said my son needed was false! The dentist said they could not believe the Dr. Toth would recommend all the dental work and really questioned what he was doing. I cant beileve that they would put a little kid through all that dental work, especailly when my son is not a fan of the dentist to begin with. So long story short, I would NOT recommend Comfort Family Dentistry to anyone and we will no longer go back.

I went here for routine fillings.They disturbed a crown i had done 4 years ago while working on other teeth.I was in terrible pain and needed a emergency root canal.The tooth was fine till they disturbed it.They then informed me me that only doctor toth can do root canals,not the other 2 dentists.Then they told me that they were booked out until like June or July and they couldnt help me. They gave me some numbers to some root canal specialist. Thats all they did.Oh and what do you know the specialist were also booked up.Hmm thats nice. Dont worry about me i will just suffer and get more infected.I begged the receptionist and she just said she couldnt do anything.So nice.I called stout and gordan and OH WHAT DO YOU KNOW they got me in the next day.I havent been to stout and gordan for 4 years.They still treated me much better.You have lost customer and i wil tell my friends to avoid you.

My son was told he had 11 cavities needed to be filled and another 6 that were potential...yes total of 17. I asked for clarification...and then i made them repeat themselves again...i had a second opinion and a third at other dentist offices and they said he needed 1 done. Thats it. My son will not be taken advantage of because hes on medicaid. This is unethical or just a really bad judgement call. Would you want to come here? I uprooted my whole family after I heard this. You should always get 2nd opinions.....*** recieved a call from the Dentist himself. I appreciate the call and the apology for the confusion...apparently it was a miscommunication and he didnt need all of them done then...i just wish it was done 6 months ago...

While the words "comfort" and "dentistry" may seem oxymoronic, the name really does fit the patient experience! The staff at Comfort Family Dentistrys beautiful new facility are super-friendly and take great care of their patients. Ive never once felt uncomfortable sitting in the dentists chair. Even after getting lost (new location!) and being a few minutes late, I was served right away with a smile. Ive been to my fair share of dentists around West Michigan due to changing insurances and this is by far my favorite dental practitioner of those Ive seen. Id highly recommend the staff at Comfort Family Dentistry to anyone looking for for a high-quality, careful, compassionate dentist!

I had all four of my wisdom teeth pulled. Dr. Ryan Toth was my dentist. I havent seen a dentist in fourteen years. Partially due to feeling uncomfortable. That was not the case here. The entire staff was friendly making me feel at home. Dr. Toth described everything to me, what he was doing and that it will be very easy. He was right. There was nothing to it. It wasnt as scary as I thought it was, losing my wisdom teeth wasnt as painful as I first thought it was going to be. I absolutely love Comfort Family Dentistry.

I absolutely love this office and the staff!! They are the friendliest people in a dentist office I have ever meet! Dr. Toth and assistants always make feel like were old friends! Its so warming, caring, attentive, and yes, even fun! Always making sure Im comfortable during any visit, and take their time. If they ever run behind schedule, be assured they are caring for a patient and will give you the same care and attention! Will never change dentists, even to one closer to home. I have much respect for everyone!

Updated: Owner reached out to me and said the assistant that screwed up was fired. Therefore I will raise my review to 3 stars as I am glad they fixed the problem. Old Review: One star is too many, actually. Called and made appointments for both my wife and I. We got postcards in the mail as reminders for our appointments. Showed up and they have no record of us, no appointment time for us and want us to wait another MONTH to get in. Unbelieveable!

I was quite nervous about getting a filling. Dr. Toth and Rhonda were so friendly and even got me to laugh a little. The whole procedure went so smoothly and I was never in any discomfort! I was so happy and they took such great care of me. They have treated my entire family with such respect and care. Dr. Toth is a great dentist and I trust him and his entire staff. We couldnt be happier...thank you to all!

Very nice new facility. I have had Amy and Tanya do the cleaning, both are very gentle and do a great job. Dr Toth uses the latest technology to deliver the best experience and hes a very nice and personable guy. I used to hate going to the dentist, now I dont mind it at all. Very well ran, clean, and ON-TIME most importantly.

Excellent service. Ive been going there repeatedly for all my dental needs. The staff is very kind. Ive worked with many condescending Doctors but the Dentists at Comfort Family Dentistry are very friendly and they dont leave you in the dark. They make sure to educate you on everything they are working on. Highly recommend them!

Ive been going to Comfort Family Dentistry for the last 4 years after moving from California to Michigan. The staff is excellent and they did an exceptional job with my root canal. They also worked with my insurance. I highly recommend this dentistry if you are from the West Michigan area.
