So. Haven Family Dentistry has taken care of our familys dental needs for over 30 years. When we go for dental care we expect the finest dental care available and receive it from both Dr. Leavitt and Dr. Hardin. They go beyond meeting our dental cares. Both Dentist are friendly, courteous and always take time necessary to explain what our dental conditions and plans to correct any problems they encounter. But, the real plus to SHFD is the care from the hygienist and the office personnel at the front desk. Peggy, JoAnn and others make the visit to this office a great experience and I actually enjoy dental appointments so i can get a chance to talk and joke with them. They are always friendly and courteous and have gone to great strides to meet any emergency needs we may have. As an example, I recently broke a took and they were able to rearrange schedules to get me in the day the tooth broke. This has happened many times for our family of four. Both our daughters who no longer live in Michigan make sure we have made appointments for them when they visit us. Many many thanks to a fine organization.

South Haven Family Dentistry is an AWESOME place. I needed a new dentist, so I called today and was Blessed with an opening today! Today was the first time I have been in their office and the entire experience was very relaxing, enjoyable (yes, enjoyable!) and a BLESSING!!! The atmosphere in their building is very relaxing. The inside of their building and their rooms are beautiful and relaxing as well. Everyone that I spoke with today was very friendly and helpful. Barb was awesome with the x-rays and cleaning; and Dr. Blake Hardin was great as well. I would HIGHLY recommend to anyone go to South Haven Family Dentistry, especially if you or your child has a fear or uneasiness with going to the dentist. They will work with you, and you will find out when you go to the RIGHT dentist, your experience is a good one!

My wife and I were referred to South Haven Family Dentistry by my parents two years ago, and could not be more pleased with the 5-star professional service we receive from Dr. Hardin and his team. Whether it be for routine check-ups and cleanings, or as we had today, a crown for myself and a complex bridge for my wife, the visits are thorough in dental care, thoughtful explanations, and considerate patience for the patients! It is wonderful to receive such a high standard of service and care from Dr. Hardin, his assistants Victoria, Lynsey, and Sarah, and of course Peggy keeps the billing and scheduling even more pain free. South Haven Family Dentistry has done great by our family. We were established patients with another dentist but when they werent able to accommodate an emergency situation we found South Haven Family Dentistry. I have some pretty severe anxiety and, when coupled with serious tooth pain I was dreading going to see a new dentist. But, Dr. Hardin and his assistant, Lynsey, were so great to me. They made me feel at ease, treated my tooth and then developed a follow up plan. Now we are in the process of moving the entire family to South Haven Family Dentistry. Thanks so much to them for helping us out in an emergency and continuing to offer us the best in dental care!

We had a wonderful experience at South Haven Family Dentistry! We were vacationing from Wisconsin and my sons orthodontist appliance broke. He had a spring hanging down and we could not imagine how he would be comfortable eating food the rest of the week. We called around to dentists and orthodontists in the area and no one could see him. South Haven Family Dentistry was closed but they still allowed us to come. Peggy and Sarah were AWESOME! Sarah was able to take out the spring that was hanging down which made it so much more comfortable for my son! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!!

NO REASON TO GO OUT OF TOWN FOR DENTAL WORK! Our family has gone to SH Family Dentistry for 3 years. The office is new and professional and the staff are always friendly. Dr. Hardin is great with kids and takes the time to explain everything he is doing so that they arent scared. Mrs. Pat and Mrs. Linda are our hygienists and both do a fabulous job. I am always impressed that they remember us and can chat with the kids about their interests. Our kids actually look forward to their regular appointments!

Great for the whole family. I was anxious about my 3-year-olds first appointment with Dr. Hardin. (I have horrible childhood memories of dentist visits). This office is wonderful. The hygienists are gentle and patient but quick! It was a great experience for him despite having to get a small cavity filled (fruit snacks are the devil). Dr. Hardin was able to fill it quickly and no tears were shed. What a relief. Weve seen both Dr. Hardin and Dr. Leavitt and have had easy, thorough visits every time.

Before coming to the South Haven Family Dentistry office, I had to go from Michigan City, IN to Holland, MI, depending on the type of work needed. I have been with SHFD now for almost 20 years. Having a trusted dental family makes life much easier. It is far better to be able to have crowns, root canals, and cleaning done in one office. I am looking forward to receiving a dental implant (which will soon be started) with the professional and friendly staff at South Haven Family Dentistry.

I have been a patient at South Haven Family Dentistry for about 6 years now. I started going there when it was Dr. Leavitt and then Dr. Hardin joined him. It is great going to an office where they can take care of all your needs at one place and make you feel comfortable. The staff is great with my sons and, my now 11 year old, has never had any issues or fears of going there for treatment. If anyone is nervous about going to the dentist, this is a great office to be a patient of.

Dr. Hardin and his staff are so helpful, knowledgeable and caring! I arrived to have a broken tooth examined and hadnt had my coffee . . . what was I thinking!? Given the option of getting the extraction over with, I asked if they had any coffee before I had that done. I was served a cup of fresh coffee in a beautiful blueberry mug! The procedure was done with a minimum of fuss and I could get on to work fueled for the workday! Thank you to South Haven Family Physicians!!

South Haven Family Dentistry is a very professional establishment. I just recently started to see Dr. Hardin about a year ago and very glad I made the switch! All of the staff are very nice and a pleasure to deal with. I am confident I will have them looking after my teeth for a while. It is also nice, because they do a lot of services that most dentists do not offer. If you are looking for a new place to go, I would check them out!!

I went in for an exam to see about getting my wisdom teeth removed due to the terrible pain. Despite being booked through into next year they made a fast appointment for my surgery. The staff were wonderful and made me feel as comfortable as possible. The nurses also came out to the waiting room multiple times to let my boyfriend know my progress and keep him in the loop. Absolutely recommend this place. :)
