I have been to this hospital a couple of different times. Life has sent me on different journeys. Not some very good ones. Staff is very supportive. Very nonjudgemental. The hospital offers many different programs to help different people with all types of issues and a lot of time is taken to review each case to make sure that the best program is offered to you. Safety and confidentiality are extremely important and very well respected. Staff works close with the doctors to make sure you receive the best care possible and that all avenues are explored and you are given best opportunity at succeeding with a healthier future when you leave. You will be educated on your illness, given coping skills to deal with the stressors that brought you to the facility and to work with when you leave and if needed with be suggested by a doctor for future treatment by a therapist or a doctor once you leave. A great place to start a better tomorrow!

I went here when I was 14 years old. If only I was more complient to treatment back then. I need help again and its been five years since. Out of all the psychiatric facilities I have been emitted into in southeast wisconsin, Aurora was the one that welcomed me the most and actually helped. The staff made sure the patients learned new coping skills and went to the core in trying to help the patients recover from mental illness. I have PTSD and I need advanced trauma therapy and I believe residential will be my best bet. Unfortunately last time I went I here I was here for 7 days and I was billed almost $15,000. I have badgercare now but I am not sure if it will do much in coverage.

Staff was kind, caring, and compassionate. Everyone was supportive and understanding. I appreciate that they give you an orientation when you arrive so you know where things are and what the schedule is. I was happy to be able to have an individual room. The last place I was inpatient we had roommates but it was nice to be able to have some privacy when I was having a rough time. I love that they have a pet therapy program! While I dont want to go back, if I didnt feel I could keep myself safe, I would be comfortable going back to get help. Overall, I was very impressed with the facility and the staff.

Literally the worst experience Ive ever had. Went there for outpatient for my anxiety and depression. The partial program was good. As far as the staff thats another story! They dont treat you like a person absolutely NO ONE there is helpful! Called to see my psychiatrist that prescribed meds that Im having issues with and I get "well just letting you know he may or may not even call you back" well thats great because you guys are just waiting for a law suit to fall under liability! This is suppose to be a place that is helpful! All it has brought to me is frustration and disappointment!

Beautiful building!! The staff are absolutely amazing and kind and they are very understanding and there to listen.. (At least for the suicide and mental health section they were) they work with you and for the therapy sessions, they try and get everyone involved and try their best to help you. I reccomend this place if u are suffering from depression and anxiety.. Theyve helped me so much. The only thing I hated about the place was the uncomfortable hard-as-a-rock bed lol

I have been there twice for substance abuse treatment and each time I have been welcomed with open arms. The staff there made me feel human and not like a addict. I highly recommend this facility to anyone who is ready for sobriety. I give Dewy a 10!

The most uncaring facility in this area.. Try Rogers before this facility. Sadly you might even get better care at Milwaukee County so that says a lot. Nurses were nice but intake was beyond unhelpful.

Detox here is an absolute joke. None of the staff actually cares about their patients. Partial hospitalization and iop programs are okay but the inpatient is horrible and I wouldnt recommend it to anyone.

Was there for three months because, of my suicide they made me feel so welcomed and loved. As if I had a chance at life. Ive been out for a year and Im seven months clean.

Came here twice for inpatient. This place is the best mental health place to go. Loved Dr. NGUYEN. Wish I could see her in outpatient.
