Dr. McGuiness is an excellent doctor! I hadnt had a complete skin check in years, and I decided I needed to have my skin and moles checked. My first visit he found a mole he thought needed to be biopsied.... It turned out to be melanoma. Fortunately, it was caught in the beginning stage and it was completely removed. I am so thankful I went in and he was so very thorough. I have continued going to him for years, and he has always been good at explaining things, so I understand, and talking about cancer prevention and what to look for myself. Now, I take my whole family there, age 10 years and up, for annual checks. My oldest son actually had a mole removed going into melanoma as well at 18 years old. Being that it is hereditary, I am so thankful he recommended me to bring my kids in too. It is scary to think what could have happened if we had delayed. The nurses were very nice and personable as well and made me feel comfortable. I highly recommend them!

My Wife and I have been patients of Dr. McGuiness for quite some years now and we cannot say nearly enough laudatory comments concerning the service that we have received. We feel totally confident in the expertise of Dr. McGuiness and are equally appreciative of his more than cordial, genial and all around pleasant demeanor. Dr. Mcguiness takes the time to explain ALL of our options before undertaking any professional service and does so in a manner that is comprehensive and completely understandable by a lay person. All in all, Barbara and I would most heartily recommend Dr. McGuiness to everyone; especially seniors such as ourselves who once thought that we were impervious to the perils of beach days covered in baby oil and later finding repose within tanning beds.

Dr. McGuiness has been my dermatologist for a number of years now. I have been to numerous dermatologists beginning in high school. Dr. McGuiness has been the most thorough and trustworthy and while I live in Texas, he will be my doctor. My trips to McGuiness Dermatology are not for aesthetic reasons, but Dr. McGuiness and his staff make every effort to provide a comfortable, relaxed, and supportive environment. One last note about my experiences: Dr. McGuiness adheres to the practice of giving patients all applicable information and allow them to make decisions for themselves. His honesty and transparency are appreciated. I would highly recommend Dr. McGuiness and McGuiness Dermatology.

I called and asked to see the dermatologist for check up. They scheduled my visit with Dr McGuiness. He was very nice and seemed knowledgeable. I had consern about one mole and leg lump. He recommended mole biopsy and leg lump removal but I was told I would need to schedule another visit. So, I called the office again and asked to see a doctor for mole biopsy and leg lump removal specifically. When I came in, the doctor was unable to perform both procedures due to more time needed to be allowed for the appointment. I was paying co pay each time. So, I called the office again and I asked if they could wave the co-pay because I had just paid twice. I was told absolutely not. No compassion.

The office is nice and the location is really convenient, but when you call to make an appointment usually you have to leave a message because they route your call from a main line to the flower mound office. The staff and doctors are nice but always expect a delay in your appointment. What I mean is, my appointment was at 8:25 I didnt make it into the room until 8:32. Doctor didnt see me until 8:47. Appointment was quick and I was out by 8:55. So I spent more time waiting than in my visit. This has been my experience when I come here, so if you are in a hurry its not going to work for you. Other than that the location is convinient.

your services is beyond very bad and horrible. I didnt even get to see the doctor because some useless ladies in scrubs could not confirm my insurance and they kept me on the phone asking my informations which I patiently told them. Got a confirmation text and drove up there to be told that they could not confirm my insurance and they dont know who answered and scheduled the appt., I left without seeing the doctor (after wasting my gas and time). When I called again, they gave me the run around by transferring me to billing and other depts, I had to explain over again that I just want to reschedule my appt.

Today was my second visit to McGuiness Dermatology and I have been extremely pleased both times! I saw Dr. McGuiness the first time and Dr. Grace Brown today. They do a thorough, professional head to toe screening and both doctors were friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. Todays visit included two unscheduled procedures - a mole removal and a keratosis (benign skin growth) scraping and Dr. Brown and her assistant, Karen W., were took care of both situations quickly - and it was pain free! If you need a dermatologist in Flower Mound this would be a wonderful choice!

He saw my father for a skin condition that he had been battling for over two years in the nursing home where he resides and had been seen by several different doctors with no relief and now after seeing McGuiness we are so very thankful that my dads symptoms have improved substantially and is improving each and everyday. I called and asked to see the dermatologist. They scheduled me with the PA. She was very nice and seemed knowledgeable. I saw her twice, paying a co pay each time. She was unable to diagnose my problem so she recommended I see the dermatologist. That is who I wanted to see in the first place. I asked if they could wave the co-pay because I had just paid twice. I was told absolutely not. No compassion. I guess its more lucrative to get in the skin treatments than it is to treat someone with a true skin problem.

This was my first visit and I was very impressed with, not only the reception staff, but the back office nurses, assistants and doctors. Everyone was cheerful, helpful and informative. Doctor Brown is very easy to talk with and explained all that she found as she did an overall check, as well as ease any concerns I had over some of the places she checked. I will be making Dr. Brown my dermatologist for all future concerns and visits and feel very comfortable in recommending this practice to anyone.

First appointment and they turned me down for being 15 min past my appt time, even though Id be waiting in waiting area for probably another hour before seeing the doc. In DFW area, they have to understand things happen, esp when bringing a toddler along. They didnt even try and get me in..well, now they have lost my, my spouse, my coworkers, friends, and familys business. Im sure the physicians themselves would try to fit me in, but unfortunately the uneducated front desk people ruin their business.
