Unfortunately the doctor and staff were far from pleasant and not dependable. Keep in mind any dermatologist can help your child. I was referred to this office by my pediatrician. My first appointment in Grapevine was your typical visit to the doctor... the doctor spent less than five minutes, gave us a printout, and told us to return in two months. Because we live near Denton I thought the Frisco location might be easier for our second appointment so we scheduled there. The Frisco office is very difficult to find, its hidden amongst numerous other one story office buildings and when I called to get clarification I was forwarded to a voicemail 15 minutes prior to the stated lunch time that they were already at lunch... at both locations. When I did find the office and mentioned it to the front desk she was very unpleasant. I also informed the doctor that the phone was being forwarded 15 minutes prior to the time its stated and he told me " maybe you shouldve gone back to the Grapevine location"... I was at a loss for words and could only say its your staffs responsibility to answer the phone during the hours that youre open. Because any dermatologist can write a prescription I will not be going back to the doctor. I gave this doctor two stars only because hes competent enough to get the job done and write a prescription.

My son was transferred from St. Louis Cardinal Glennon so we didnt have to make the drive from OKC all the time for our sons treatment. Upon driving to Dallas for about our 3rd visit, the exits were closed to Grapevine and we had to take a detour. We called the clinic to tell them we were running late because of the detour. The office manager said if we were not there in 10 minutes, they were closing because Dr. Ghali had a tee time that he didnt miss. We said "This is not our fault, we didnt know about the detour" they said "sorry. They were closed when we got there. A three hour drive for nothing. We never went back and they never followed up. I doubt Dr. Ghali even knows his staff does this unless he personally told them to do it. Either way, I cant even tell you how disgusted with them I was. Dr. Siegfried in St. Louis is worth the drive if you have a child who is suffering, her nurse even volunteered to let us stay with her to save money instead of going to a hotel. We have since found a great dr here in OKC, Dr. Renee Grau, as well as referrals to Camp Horizon in Pennsylvania where we have met other doctors who care about their patients, not their tee time.

My son has severe chronic eczema. 4 years ago we were going from Doctor to Doctor trying to find someone that could help him. We spent alot of time working with the various doctors but none of them significantly improved my sons condition. Trust me with chronic eczema it is miserable, not only for the my son but for us as his parents to watch how disabling this condition can be. After spending some time working with Dr. Fred Ghali, he was able to significantly improve my sons condition to the point that my son looks and plays more like all the other kids now. Dr. Ghali has always been patient with us, through the volume of questions that we have posed to him and his staff and the exploration of potential treatments. If you have a child with a chronic skin condition I would definitely give Dr. Ghali the opportunity to work with you and you child to improve the condition.

Weve been here a few times now and have seen both Dr. Ghali and his Nurse Practitioner Ashlee Dillon. Wow, were we impressed! This office was built with kids in mind. Games in the lobby, a fish tank, and all kinds of fun things to keep kids occupied before the appointment. But even better than that, are their fabulous staff. And you dont have to wait months upon months to get your kids in. Dr. Ghali was great with my daughter, even though she was a terrified mess and hates going to the doctor. And my son hung out with Ashlee Dillon like hes known her forever after only two appointments. We just love her, and love that we can get on her schedule within a few weeks.. Fabulous office, and my only gripe is that I have to drive about 25 minutes to get there. But heck, no big deal, the kids love it, I love it, and well keep coming back!

Dr. Ghali and his staff are amazing. My son has severe psoriasis. He was suffering physically and socially due to it covering the majority of his body. We tried other dermatologist but due to his young age they were unsure how to treat him. Then we found Dr. Ghali. What a blessing! He went above and beyond in providing my son the very best care, and always made me feel comfortable with the treatment plans. They take the time to research every possible treatment before discussing which would be the right one and answers all my questions, no matter how silly they may seem. My sons condition is now under control and he looks great. Best of all, my son as gained his confidence back! I will never be able to thank everyone at Pediatric Dermatology of North Texas enough for everything they have done for us

Called today with questions as this would be my first time to have anything like this wrong. The front office staff member I spoke to was short and rude with me, as if trying to get me off the phone. I had questions and wanted to meet with whoever would be dealing with my child. We dont have anything like that then was told I could make an appt. and meet them but I would have to pay for it. Excuse me no kidding its what you do at a Doctor right? Money is not an issue or I would not be calling. She made me feel about 2 feel tall as I step into unfamiliar territory of my child needing a dermatologist. There is nothing worse then a mother who cant fix her childs problem to have someone treat you so ugly as you begin trying to figure it out.

Dr. Ghali is one of the most knowledgeable and engaging physicians in the metroplex - arguably, the entire country. He is passionate and committed to the care of all his patients - oftentimes leading the pack when it comes to diagnosis and treatment of disease states that affect the pediatric patient. His dedication to improving the overall quality of life for his patients is never more demonstrated than at his kids camp each year. Dr. Ghalis staff has no equal for professionalism and compassion. All associated with Pediatric Dermatology of North Texas demonstrate their great knowledge and competence from the very first contact. It is no wonder that most of the patients stay with the practice throughout their college years!

Dr. Ghali has treated both of my children for over 5 years. He is excellent and so is his staff. He has diagnosed some random stuff on my daughter and Im glad I went straight to him. At this point I skip going to the pediatrician and go straight to their office for anything skin related. Getting an appointment in a timely manner is not a problem and we have never waited more than a few minutes in the waiting room. However, my kids would like to wait longer with the movies and aquarium in the front. Dr. Ghali and all of his staff are great with kids. We are very lucky to have their office so close in Grapevine.
