DISAPPOINTED! I was looking forward for my daughters visit with Dr Nguyen after reading his reviews. The office staff was very unprofessional and uncaring. They decided to tell me once I got there that the I needed to pay for the FULL visit not half but FULL visit was due to my deductible not being met. Very understandable but not when we have a HRA account that has not been used. I was told my insurance rep did not tell her that I have a HRA account not sure if she even cared to ask. I also pointed out how my insurance card clearly states that we have a HRA and still didnt try to figure how much we had. The easiest solution for them was to charge me the FULL amount of the office visit and not to mention how this wasnt even the contracted amount they have with my insurance. My other option was to reschedule "until they could figure it out", they had absolutely no one in the lobby and could have made a simple phone call to find out how much I had in my HRA which was more than enough to cover for the visit!!!!!! I never have had this kind of insurance issue with any other providers office up until today. Save your time and take your business elsewhere where you get the treatment you deserve.

Yes, the receptionist can be abrupt. However, Dr. Nguyen is awesome. I cannot say enough good things about him. Dr. Nguyen has removed moles from me with only the slightest scar when other derm docs have left large ugly holes that scarred terribly. Dr. Nguyen has treated me for burns, acne, mole removal, and allergic reactions. When I had a horrible outbreak of chicken pox type marks caused by a rare reaction to a virus, he knew exactly what I had and how to treat it. He even made time to see my emergency that very afternoon rather than making me wait. I have recommended Dr. Nguyen to three of my friends and they were also very pleased with his care and became loyal patients. If you need a dermatologist in Arlington and can be patient with the receptionist, I highly recommend Dr. Nguyens practice for your skin care needs.

Nice people. I went there first a week ago, to have a growth on my head and two reddish, pinkish spots checked out and went back yesterday for treatment. The two spots were scraped off and cauterized, after local anaesthetic injections. And the growth was treated with liquid nitrogen. Everyone was pleasant and friendly and keep me informed throughout the treatment, which was pretty much painless. I will continue to use them and would highly recommend them for your dermatological needs.

Never got to actually see the doctor, this place has terrible customer service they are unwilling able to listen to the customer for their needs. The secretary was unable to perform her job and look up insurance benefits. They will call you last minute telling you that insurance benefits were not found when they were there. Even after having the insurance call them they left me on the phone and eventually dropped my call. Terrible service

My husband and I went to see Dr. Nguyen as new patients today. Within five minutes of our arrival time we were able to see Dr. Nguyen. He did a procedure on my husbands face and took care of some issues I had in less than 45 minutes. His professionalism, bedside manner, and caring were excellent. We will definitely depend on Dr. Nguyen for our dermatology needs in the future. We highly recommend him and his office staff. A great experience.

Doctor Nguyen and his nurse were very friendly, professional, and fast. The initial consultation (for a small non-cancerous cyst) and the second appointment to surgically remove it lasted a total of 1 hour. I showed up early both times and both times only waited in the lobby maybe 10 minutes. I do not know why there are so many negative comments, but my experience exceeded my expectations for minor surgery.

Dr. Nuygen and his staff are always professional. Ive gone to dermatologists my entire adult life (many, many years) and Dr. Nuygen is the best Ive ever been to. Hes so knowledgeable and all the procedures have been painless with quick recovery times. Im so glad hes young enough that I shouldnt ever have to look for another dermatologist again. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Nuygen to all my friends.

I have been going to Dr. Nguyens office for YEARS...since i was about 12 years old, Im now 22. Hands down the best dermatologist ive been to my entire life. Very knowledgeable and very reassuring. I dont know about all these other people complaining because all their staff is nice and straight to the point. Not their fault patients have deductibles to meet ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I had to miss my initial appointment due to scheduling conflict. So I called them to tell them I couldnt make it. About a week later I called to make another appointment and the receptionist told me that since I missed the first appointment they couldnt take me as a patient. The tone in her voice was very rude as well. I do not recommend this place

After I said I had medicare ins., then they were not taking new patients. Even thought I have an insurance suppliment. But I didnt say the name of the insurance co. before I blurted out medicare. Glad they said no, according to the other reviews

THESE PEOPLE WANT TO CHARGE AN OFFICE VISIT OF $110 TO RENEW THE PRESCRIPTION THAT DIDNT FIX THE PROBLEM IN THE FIRST PLACE!!!!! THE 1ST OFFICE VISIT WAS $130 PLUS $100 FOR THE MEDS!!!! NOW THEY WANT $110 TO LOOK AT THE PROBLEM AGAIN!!!!

I had to have a procedure done (painless); Dr. Nuygen and staff were SUPER PROFESSIONAL; Dr. Nuygen was so REASSURING. I HIGHLY would recomend Dr. Nuygen if you need a dermatologist.
