I LOVE DR. SHAFA! Im seriously so glad to have found her office. When I came to Dr. Shafas office, she listened to what I wanted and told me about her practice and the product Radiesse. She kept saying "Im a very conservative injector- and you cant remove Radiesse so I inject very little at a time". Hearing this, I was thinking "great. theres going to be no change and progress with this, and not only that but its going to hurt even more than that Perlane". It turns out she was right: she did inject VERY little and that I was wrong: it BARELY hurt at all (just a sting) and youd think she used up the entire 1.5 cc syringe to make THAT much of a difference- people actually NOTICED how high it was this time. How much did she use? So little, that I was able to come back today at a very low price and have her artfully inject my nose again so its basically bbeaaauttifulll now, my nasolabial folds, AND my cheekbones. I never had the idea to put anything in my cheekbones. I had always hated my chubby cheeks but I knew that getting the fat removed there before I was 35 would come back to bite me- I wanted to save them for the future. I hated them so much, knowing Id be able to love them when i was like 40 and didnt know what to do but feel ugly for the meantime. Dr. Shafa actually recommended that we put the rest of the Radiesse there and voila! My chubby cheeks gave way to a defined, high cheekbones and facial structure. And she injected VERY little too. She gave me that awesome individualized facial reconstruction with just one syringe. Some months before, I went to some clinic in La Jolla where they persuaded me to get Perlane on the nose instead of Radiesse because it was more flexible and comfortable (and also more pricey). The injection hurt so much I cried and it was red and bruised for days. It left two huge scabs and when one went away, it left a pockmark! And my nose BARELY looked any different. Before coming to Dr. Shafas office, I never knew how horrible this injector was. I woke up in the morning today, hating absolutely everything about my face. I came back from the office an hour ago, and I cant help but love being me and feeling actually pretty for the first time in a really long time.

Dr Parvin Shafa is FABULOUS! Not only is she cutting edge with her knowledge and skills, she is compassionate and caring. Her staff makes you feel like you are being welcomed into a friends home. They remember your name and always have a smile and a positive attitude. When you call to make your appointment they take the time to listen and never make you feel rushed. My first visit I wanted to know more about Botox, fillers and skin care. Dr. Shafa has been doing injections for a very long time. Her skills are cutting edge. I have never had good results with Botox until I went to her. She explained every step to me and made me feel like I had a say in my treatment! It was so refreshing to have a Dr. talk to me about options regarding my short term and long term goals. I have had Botox, fillers (under eyes and around nasal labial folds)and she also has a fantastic weight loss program where I have already lost 20+ lbs in 4 months. Slow and steady it has come off. My progress is closely monitored and I am cheered on by the entire staff. I would recommend Dr. Shafa to all! It is like having a girlfriend as your MD. I have already sent three of my friends to her and they all are very pleased. She is a rare find. I will be a patient for many years to come! Not to mention I have now switched over to her for all my medical needs. Great Work Dr. Shafa! ** Side Note: I Believe the bad Laser Reviews are from a staff member of OC Laser. They all tie back to that location. How sad they would have to stoop that low to spam a very nice office like this one. Shame on them for using this tool in such a horrible manner. my sister who is fairly new to U.S, been getting treatment from Dr. shafa. my sister is very innocent and always fall for anything. i would say Dr. shafa is more like a sales person than a doctor. i want to file a complaint with BBB and inform everybody of her bad business practices. my sister says she spends less than 5 minutes to even listens to the patients. all she tries to do is to sell her junks and treatment packages without helping the patient. my sister has hormonal imbalance and thats why she gets acne on her face. instead of trying to fix the inside she tries to sell her stupid product which not gonna help her. she has spend almost 800 dollars already but her acnes come back.

Ive been seeing Dr. Shafa for my acne and blackheads on my forehead. She suggested that I use a specially designed cream at the office and was able to educate me extensively about what to expect, the ingredients, and answer all of my questions. The cream is a type of retin-A, which makes you peel, but the end result is so worth it! My skin looks a lot better. We supplement this with extractions of blackheads, which dont hurt too much since she has a gentle touch. She really cares about getting the results that I want. I recommend her to all of my family and friends.

Dr Parvin is the best! I always go to her! I remember she was on vocation and I had to go to a doctor down the street. That guy ripped me off! He wanted to charge me $450 dollars for a precedure that Dr. Parvin charges $150... I dont think there is any need to say more! Ive been coming to her office since April 2009 and NEVER had any problems with her! IF you dont use her, you are NOT getting the best! P.S. All the negative reviews are 100% FAKE, written by the competition! If you go see Dr Shafa, you wont be disappointed

I have had succesful laser facial hair removal, photofacials on my face and hands very succesful. Best of all, I am extreemly pleased with my Sculptra facial filler. Dr.Shaffa is an artist in facial rejuvenation. I highly recommend her. I ren into a woman who had has not seen me in ten years. She exclaimed I hadnt aged at all. She is extremely knowledgeable and patient with what can be a very frustrating issue. As a doctor I have a different vision when I visit a physician. I am very impressed by Dr. Shafas depth of medical knowlege and her bedside manner. When it comes to injectables such as Botox and Restylane she is true artist and has a gentle touch.
