I am so disappointed with her service. I was referred to her by a friend. She didnt listen to anything I was saying. Ive had three appointment with her so far. The first visit she only ordered blood test and didnt let me talk about any problems I was experiencing. I actually had to stop her before stepping outside of the room to get my medications refilled. their office never answers the phone or returned my calls or the pharmacys calls. The second time i went there they only took my blood test. The third time she only gave me the result of blood test and still didnt let me talk about anything else. she said you have to make another appointment for that. I only wanted to see her for that particular problem from the beginning and nothing else. But it seemed like she wanted to stretch my visits. Not even once that she has actually gave me a physical check up. She only came in to the room to say the blood test result is good. She just wants to charge Medi care for visits that she absolutely does nothing for. Im still here with same problem from two months ago. Im just gonna take it to someone who is a real doctor and actually cares for their patients.

I started shaving my beard when I was around 15. But it unfortunately gave me a lot of acne and ingrowing hairs. I was very upset about my appearance and it took away from a lot of my confidence. I went to go see Dr. Shafa when I turned 18. First of all, she is the sweetest woman out there with an excellent staff, not to mention a beautiful office. It was really a professional environment. She started to do treatment of my face and after two visits, my face was completely clear. The treatment was simple, painless, and fast. There are absolutely no marks or acne scars on my face. She got ride of all my ingrowing hairs as well. It truly looks like I had perfect skin my whole life. Highly recommend.

She is not a good medical doctor. She does not pay attention or listen. She delayed and missed my diagnosis because she was too involved thinking she was right and did not pay attention to all my symptoms. She treated me as if o didnt matter. When she found out via X-ray what was wrong she took weeks to call me and even then she made it sound like it was nothing even though she knew it was bad news. She completely belittled me and my life. Thank god I moved on to another doctor who saved my life. Go to her for Botox and stuff but not if you feel you are sick and something is wrong with you. She is not knowledgable or thorough enough to catch it.

Dr Shafa was very kind and friendly. Her office is spotlessly clean and the procedure was very successful. Her prices are actually less than other places even though it is in Irvine. I would highly recommend her
