I hope anyone that chooses to go here has better luck then I did with Dr Savino! I went there for my CDL physical. She said my O2 sats were low and that it had to be checked before my license would be renewed. So I went to a lung specialist three times to address the low O2 sats and he sent me for two different arterial blood gas draws and a pulmonary function test. In which all of these came back fine. I took the paperwork back to Dr. Savino within the three month extension she gave me and was told that you only have 30 days to get that back to her for an amendment of the license. I was NEVER told about this 30 day timeframe! They wanted me to pay to have another physical for another $95.00 after I spent time and money on a specialist at her request. Dr. Savino from MedExpress in Kokomo is very unprofessional, rude, will talk down to and over you, call you names, and cost you unnecessary money and time. My total for all the extra testing came to $3075.00 and time missed from work. Needless to say I went elsewhere as I would recommend to anyone who reads this. RediMed in Peru Indiana charges $70.00 for the same CDL physical and after going there I received my renewal for 2 years with no issues brought up by the certified CDL physical physician there.

First of all, I went where I have gone for 20 some years (St. Vincent Immediate Care on Southwest Blvd by BMV) and was told I would have a 3 hr wait and if I waited in my car (instead of the packed waiting room) if they called my name I would lose my place. So I drove here, there was a 15 min wait. I was called in under 10. I saw David Beeson,MD who was an absolute joy to meet. He asked me pertinent & concise questions to be able to treat my symptoms. He actually touched me during the exam instead of sitting across the room. He also asked if I had any further questions without one hand on the door knob ready to bolt out of the room. If pressed to rate Dr. Beeson on a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 highest,he would be a 12.

Was seen immediately by a very friendly and educated staff and physician who kept me in the loop about everything and made sure I was always involved. As a healthcare professional myself I have been to a few other urgent cares for treatment and they have always disappointed. MedExpress in Kokomo however was simply the best. Thanks for helping me breathe again everybody! You Rock!!

I have never had a bad experience here; the staff are friendly and professional and the wait time has always been reasonable. I am very impressed with the medical staff and would always choose Med Express over the other local options. Please keep up the great work because you are sorely needed in this town.

Christie was amazing and very helpful. The doctor, nurses, and other staff were hospitable and made my experience comfortable; showing genuine care and attending to me immediately. I have never received such superior service and respect. If I ever get sick again, this is definitely my first choice.

Good care, but beware: they charge an extra 25 bucks for "after hours services" (even on Saturday afternoon) that insurance doesnt cover because its redundant for urgent care. I will just make an appointment with the pediatrician for stitches next time.
