The employees must make these comments. Because most not all are very rude and inconsiderate especially mr.knickman. I have 2 large German Shepard they have been seen at this office for over 10 years. You notice they do not comment on your pet being like family here. I go there because it is very close and easy for my 2 girls. My 1 German shep. Has incontinence because a vet didnt do a well job when she was spades and has to be on des. For the rest of her life. And this facility is not cheap. Regardless my girls get vaccination for limes and whatever is required they stay on Frontline plus and the heartworm medication also. I will say I am behind on the boosters for over the past year and because it is not easy for me to have someone put 2 large Or even one in their vehicle and I have had some financial problems. My husbands med. And recently my sons 4 wisdom teeth and I have no dental insurance for him I have been paying a small fortune. But here it there after 10 yrs and this isnt a first of service they denied me the des medication my dog needs and they had no ready appt. Available for 2 weeks or more when I asked what to do. I didnt want her to urinate all over my house and at 11 years old never to be left outside they are house dogs part of the family I was told to lock her up in a room. They have no regards for me or my home none the less for my dogs all about the money. And I will find another vet. That certainly care about all pets and certainly a hard situation that I find myself in and no I did not lock my girl up. Thanks for reading patti. Good luck to anyone else who goes there

Ive been seeing Dr Knickman for over 25 yrs and I will never go anywhere else. He cares so much about your pet. Treats you like family and spends a lot of time caring for your pet. The staff is also amazing. My cat had a seizure over the weekend and when I called Jess answered the phone and asked me to hold and I replied well my cat is having a seizure she spoke with me immediately and did not put me on hold. She hadnt even asked my name yet ! Everyone there is very passionate about animals. She wanted me to go to the emergency vet because they were overbooked. I was not to happy about that especially since Id been a patient there for 25+ yrs. She told me to call back first thing in the morning and they would fit me in. Well I pretty much was up most the night with my cat watching the clock for 8:00. So I call. They say there overbooked and can not see me today and that I should go to the emergency vet. And that the vet had said he was leaving an hour early and no more emergency s to be put in. I guarantee that WAS NOT Dr Knickman but one of his associate s. Which I could tell you a whole nother story about. So needless to say Im still waiting to see Dr Knickman. I will be calling Mon morning and hopefully I will get in. I know if I could speak to Dr Knickman he would get me in.

I have been using Madonna since our dog was a pup, and my fiancees family has been going to Madonna since much longer than that. We love it there. We have moved further from the clinic since, and still drive almost an hour to get there anytime we need to bring our dog in. In fact, as I type this, hes there right now getting a minor procedure done. I pick him up in a few hours. The office staff here have always been attentive, helpful, and kind. We see the way they treat our German Shepherd mix, and how he reacts when he comes home from time spent with them. We have never once had to fight with our dog to get him to come into the vets office or go back with the staff for blood work. He goes with a wag, not a wince. Honestly, the worst thing about going here is when I have to collect a stool sample. Our dog can create some smells that defy all logic... but, hes our best buddy, and I wouldnt trust his health to just anyone. The doctors and staff at this clinic have my full recommendation.

We have been coming to Dr. Knickman since before he even had this office. (30+ years) He is the only Vet we go to for all of our Goldens. The one bad review I see here makes no sense at all. If you are so unhappy with this vet, why go to see him for 10 years? Maybe you had one bad experience? If that is so, dont post a negative result for one bad experience in 10 years. If you feel you must at least be clear. Your review is all over the place and doesnt make sense. Ed Knickman is great. Prices are very reasonable. Sometimes people are too quick to post damaging information. - John and Sharon

First off... I have NEVER been an employee there. I have been going there for 7 years with my Golden and 1 year with my 2 cats. Dr. Knickman is a great vet, my daughter is interested in becoming a vet and he has encouraged her at every appointment. He has even involved her in the exams and she loved it. He explains everything very well and for the most part they run on schedule. I would recommend them to anyone. I work with a lady who has been going there for over 15 years and she feels the same way and recommended the practice to me also.

In response to Met Karadag who gave a 1 star review, I am not an employee and have never been an employee of Madonna Vet. I am , however, a loyal and completely satisfied client of many years. Dr. Knickman has taken care of my pets and my daughters pets for 15 years and he has always been very kind, compassionate, and professional. I will continue to highly recommend Dr. Knickman. I believe Madonna Vet to be the absolute best veterinary clinic in Harford County and the most reasonably priced, too.

We called to set an appt for our new addition to the family and were absolutely belittled over the phone about the breed,where it came from,who it came from etc. Weve had family members coming here for years but wont be any longer!!! You seriously need to address the office personnel that are answering the phone on a daily basis. Everyone has bad days but you dont treat new or exiting clients like that PERIOD. The BBB has already been called!!

I love them! Theyre not about the money like most veterinary offices. I have gone in for quick visits for emergencies and they actually charge less if its quickly diagnosed and not a full exam, and wont make you may for any unnecessary medications if you dont need them. I trust their judgement completely and I love taking my dog there, they love him and hes not even scared of going to the vet.

Dr. Knickman is a great guy, and hes always willing to answer any questions. Prices are the best around, they arent out to empty your pocket they actually care about your pets. Hes so good many customers have moved with him when he changed facilities a few years ago. Hes been my vet for probably 15 years now. 10 stars for this vet!!!!
