My family and I started using Pleasantville Animal Hospital (PAH) in 2013 after an unfortunate experience elsewhere. Our dog had an ear infection and he was in pain, we originally kept taking him to Banfield, but after 10 months, the ear infection had not cleared up or gotten better. When we took our dog to PAH, the vetinarian gave us some medicine and the ear infection was cleared up within a week or two. Because of this awesome experience, we continued to use PAH for medical and grooming needs. They offer everything we could want: medical care, grooming, and boarding. The staff is extremely friendly! They remember you and your pets and treat your pets like their own. Even now, I have moved away from Fallston and moved to Belcamp but I cant imagine another animal hospital I would go to. When I adopted a kitten, I knew that I wanted PAH to take care of her. I dont mind making the drive because of the great service and customer care that PAH gives.

We starting going to Dr. Gounaris when he was on Harford Rd in Carney 18 years ago. Hes gentle and caring and has always done right by my pets. He also does a great job explaining procedures and helping us to understand and correct behaviors. I recently had to euthanize my 18 year old cat and everyone at Pleasantville was so understanding and helpful through this process. Their kindness and support made a very painful day much more bearable. And now that his daughter has joined the practice, we know that our animals will continue to be in good hands.

This is the best veterinary hospital around! Always superior care for my animals by a high-caliber staff. Dr. Scott Gounaris is a reliable professional who has never let me or my animals down. He and his staff treat my animals as if they are their own - always exuding a sense of compassion when handling the patients. Simply put, I would not take my pets to anyone but Dr. Scott Gounaris and his staff!

I decided Id give them a try since they were so close to my house. They dont follow proper kitten protocol recommended by other vets in the area and my kitten hated them (and she loves everyone). Their prices are absolutely ridiculous and double that of what I pay now at the new new vet I use. I recommend going to Bel Air Veterinary over this place.
