If you absolutely love and cherish your pet, do not, I repeat do not take them to Banfield pet Hospital. They over vaccinate your pet for more money. If you do choose to go to this godforsaken place, question them about the vaccinations they try to guilt you into giving your pet. I made a mistake of letting my husband take our Doberman to Banfield pet Hospital for a rabies vaccine. He tends to trust the people there with Charlie and just hand them a credit card without asking questions. They gave her $300 worth of vaccinations, one being a lime disease vaccination that has no proof that it works. the girl at the hospital, when I called to told her that my dog was extremely ill (vomiting and urinating all over herself for three days). I asked her why would she give her a lime disease vaccination and her response was "well, it doesnt prevent lyme disease but it does help to ease the symptoms if she does get it". I was livid!!! they also gave her a Bordetella vaccination! They mustve convinced my husband who just writes checks and hands over the credit card ,thinking the doctor knows best, that they need to give her a Bordetella vaccination even though we do not board her!!! It was unnecessary and they guilted my husband into getting his vaccination so that they can get their money. Shame on on them! We will go to a private vet who cares more about the animal than making a sale!!

I agree with Legs 100%. This place is like a K Mart of animal care. They could not care any less for you animal. I have taken my dog there for a year and a half because they stuck my on their "Wellnes Plan" ( I do not recommend this at all). Every visit I waited over 45 minutes for the Vet, and on numerous occasions I had to bring my dog very soon after because they didnt solve the problem at all. My dog is a Boxer/Bull and is very healthy, so I am not a complainer type of person....but when my dog really is sick (puffed up eyes and bumps all over her), they didnt seem to care too much about fixing things quickly. They also quoted me on a wart removal in her ear. And then they told me a week later a price that was 350.00 higher than the one they quoted me on! I then found out that warts like hers should just be left alone and the body will get rid if it (and it did in a few weeks). This place just wants your money. If you care about your pet, then take him or her to a place that may charge a little more, but genuinely cares for your pet.

The previous comments cannot be farther from the truth, at least from what I experienced. We rescued a very small kitten from a shelter who we later found was VERY sick. I was a first time cat owner so I was an emotional wreck when we took him in. Yes the costs are high but they worked with me as much as possible and calmed my nerves. Yes you see different doctors from time to time but they are all fantastic and I am so glad we found them. We recently got another kitten to keep out cat company and the new kitten had health problems as well...yes again they saved the day and helped us save as much money as possible along the way.

As much as youd like to think that people who work in a veterinarians office have a special appreciation for animals its not true here, that or they dont have respect for the work place or the customers. The office staff is very unprofessional, and the vets dont return telephone calls; twice after bringing my pet to see the doctor for a routine check up hes given her something thats cause her serious illness because of misdiagnosis, did I mention Ive only ever been twice and thats all I ever will go. Do your animal companion and yourself a favor and find a different place, youll save yourself time, money, and a headache.

Always very nice and great with our little poms. The vet is super friendly and the staff is always helpful. We had an issue with one of our pets and this vet was the only one that figured it out and properly took care of :)

I called in advance to set up an appointment for both of my cats. I got there the day of the appointment and they had only one appointment. It was their mistake but they wouldnt accommodate me.

They have been great. My dog hates getting his nails clipped. He is also super strong. They are the only place Ive found that takes care of it. When he was sick, they were a great help.

Based on how they handled our family dog passing away, this staff easily gets five stars.
