We have 4 large dogs, 3 of them are rescues. I havent found an affordable vet but was willing to try this clinic. We recently had a bad and expensive experience, so we will be moving on. They tested our XL yellow lab for scabies (sarcoptic mange mites), but the (outsourced) lab mishandled the samples and then it was lost - happened to 2 other people on the same day. Had to take the lab back in for retesting. We ended up with some VERY EXPENSIVE antibiotic and an expensive steroid while waiting for results. Test was confirmed today. The treatment is a NON- PRESCRIPTION (Seresto) flea & tick collar!!! WHY did they make our dog suffer for 3 more weeks??? If I had known that a collar would be the recommended treatment, I would have ordered it for him after his initial visit!!! The other part of this issue was that we called repeatedly (since we were told wed have results within 48 hours), and no one would contact the lab to find out what was going on. If someone had bothered to call, we may have been able to get the samples re-routed to prevent having to drive back to the clinic with the dog a second time!
