I have been trying to see Dr Rios for five years. Years ago I started researching dentists in the local area and every review I have ever seen of Dr Rios and his team is very good. Because of these reviews I wanted to go to them but over the years my insurance was not accepted. Recently I called my insurance company and found out that the insurance we have is accepted. I was so excited to be able to finally make an appointment. We did our initial new patient appointment yesterday and we were not disappointed! We were promptly seen, everyone was kind, patient and professional. People were not crammed into the waiting area like sardines either, which I was thankful for because of my low immune system. Dr Rios explained everything in detail. He has a very kind gentle demeanor. Everyone cared about our concerns. Dr Rios has top notch equipment. You can tell he invests in his practice to offer cutting edge technologies. His practice also had a serene vibe which had a very calming and relaxing effect. None of that hurry up stuff making you feel like you are a factory product. Everything was clean sanitary and very organized. They definitely are up to code. My Husband and I had a two o’clock and 5 o’clock appoints. When I initially called to make the appointment I mentioned how my Lyme disease makes it difficult to stay out very long, to our surprise they managed to take both off us at the same time and get us checked out at the same time! I was very grateful for that consideration as well. When we were shown the fee schedule we were pleasantly surprised as well, Dr Rios said we have good insurance but whatever it is I feel his fees are fair. The whole process was very streamlined and efficient, very uncommon in the medical field! We are scheduled for the recommended treatments soon and I will follow-up on everyone’s skill sets after our treatments are completed. The "rooms" are cubicles and you can hear the work being done on other patients while you are waiting (not pleasant!). There is no privacy, patients can walk by and see you getting your work done. They equipment is old and the office seems dirty. The whole back area is cramped. It reminds me of getting dental work done on a Navy ship! It seems as though it should be a "discount dental" place but trust me they charge the same as a much nicer office. They called to confirm an appointment which I had taken off work for. I show up for the appointment only to be told my appointment was 4 hours later! The receptionist tried to make me feel like an idiot by claiming she never called to confirm. I actually had to show the receptionist my phone log so she would admit she called. They had me wait in a storage room for 45 minutes while they tried to figure out what to do. Meanwhile, the door was not closed all the way so I got to overhear Dr. Rios talking down to the receptionist and reprimanding her, VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. I signed a treatment plan on my first visit for a root canal and crown. I paid in full on my third visit after the crown was put on. Then the office sends me a bill for an additional $385! Upon leaving my last appointment the new receptionist stated that the previous receptionist had been let go due to mistakes, one being my treatment plan cost. How can they expect me to pay for their mistake? I will NEVER go back to that place and would not recommend that place to anyone at all.

Thank you so much to Dr. Franklin Rios & his staff for making my first dental appointment in 15 years so easy and pain/stress free! I cant tell you enough about what a great experience it was and how friendly everyone was! Before I even had the opportunity to walk into my appointment, Dr. Rios called me to introduce himself and personally ask if I had any questions or concerns, and that made a big impression! I had extremely high anxiety about seeing a dentist and finding out how much work would need to be done but they put me at ease right away! The office was very clean and well organized and all members of the staff were so polite and helpful! I loved the openess in the exam areas and it felt much more comfortable not being closed into a small room, but there was still enough privacy for each patient. My xrays were taken super quick and were available for me to see as well right on the computer screen in front of me! I learned what needed to be fixed and how to prevent further damage. Dr. Rios was so nice and took his time explaining everything. He also made sure I was good and numb for all the dental work I needed! So glad I found him and his wonderful team! If you dont have a dentist, I highly recommend you call his office!

I love Dr. Rios and his entire staff! I had recently had an accident with my two front teeth (8 and 9) and didnt know where to go. While looking for a dentist i choose the one closest to me and being hopeful, i wished that my experience would be as painless as possible.I was shocked (in a good way) once i walked through the door! I was greeted by the most friendly receptionist who knew my name and after some short paperwork i was escorted to the back by one of the hygenist. While back there i noticed that everything was clean and properly taken care of. Also, the staff are as friendly as can be and you feel at ease to talk as if you were with good family and friends. Once i was finished with the preliminary work Dr. Rios greeted me and explained how and what options would be the best for my situation. I took his advice seeing as he has years of dental experience that i do not and i couldnt be happier! I now have a perfect smile due to Dr. Rios and his staff and quite possibly had the most enjoyable dental experience possible! I live on the other side of town now but there isnt any amount of distance possible that would separate me from my next appointment!

Amazing! Ive had an amazing experience with this office. Dr. Rios and staff have become like an extended family. His touch is very light when working on your teeth. He explains everything and I mean everything. I still have more visits planned but the apprehension is gone. All visits were not only painless in the office but painless at home as well. The dental hygienist is so gentle. Its obvious she loves what she does. Thanks to her I discovered my blood pressure needed some attention. Thats been resolved because of her. I was a person who actually would throw up before dental appointments due to anxiety. Yes...throw up!!! Needless to say thats a thing of the past. There are many who fear the dentist office. I am no longer a member of that group. There are no hidden charges. Ive been misled by other dentist on their charges...not here. If youre searching for a Dentist with compassion and integrity, then look no further. Dr. Rios and his staff are the real deal!!!
