This is our first review ever so excuse us if the form or content will not be entirely review like. We believe Dr. Alex Nguyen is extraordinary and we wanted to share our experiences and observations of being his patients with everybody seeking doctor with great skills but also values like humility and compassion which are very important and so rare today. We moved to California 3+ yrs ago. Its been our 5th big relocation around the world. Every time you arrive in a new place, sooner or later you are going to need and search for doctor. It was a few months after we arrived in CA when I got a toothache. It was bad. I started searching internet and made a list of doctors I wanted to call and ask for help. I realized quickly how important it was to have a good insurance because the first question they asked me was what insurance I have and who I work for. I work for a big company in bay area and I have the best insurance they offer. Anyways, none of the doctors I contacted agreed to see me same or next day. The earliest appointment one dentist in Mountain View proposed was in two days. I waited these two long days and suffered a lot. The minute after we met he told me that my tooth is dying and he is not going to help me because this is not his speciality ! He gave me antibiotic he ordered to take immediately referred another dentist and rushed to see another patient. I was shocked because something like that had happened to me first time. The doctor he referred didnt want to see me. I rushed back to the office to make another list of dentists in Cupertino, Sunnyvale, Los Gatos and Saratoga I could contact to seek help. Many of them were recommended by my coworkers. Half of my face at that time was already numb. Only one doctor from the second list, Dr. Alex Nguyen agreed to see me same day. And imagine my surprise when Stacy (Dr. Alexs assistant) didnt ask about the insurance when heard my problem but ordered to come to see the doctor immediately and we shall worry about the insurance details later. My tooth was rescued, antibiotic was changed to another one cause the one I received from doctor in Mountain View happened to be for a different type of bacteria. I was back in shape within a few days. My wife and I have been seeing Dr. Alex since. Its been almost 3 years. I know him well enough to tell you one thing, he is not only an amazingly talented doctor but he is a good person. Always kind, always professional. Very noble men. We like him very much. I will not write about his very nice office and relaxing music you can listen to in his praxis because this might not interest you much if you are looking only for the best dentist in the world. Dr. Alex is definitely one of them. We know it for certain. Thank you, Dr. Alex Nguyen for being our doctor. Anna and Piotr T.

This is going to be a glowing review. I do not think that my review is going to adequately express my appreciation for Dr. Nguyen and his staff. The bottom line: Dr. Nguyen and his team make me excited about having a prettier smile. This is something Ive hoped for since I was 11. I NEVER thought I would enjoy going to the dentist. Holy cow. I feel so lucky to have found them. I found them on yelp. You should probably ignore whatever negative was written, I dont have the experience that Dr. Nguyen would leave any client/patient "hanging". He is certainly committed to his craft and doing a great job for people. They have far exceeded my wants and expectations from a dental team. In fact all I was hoping for was a dentist that wouldnt make me feel bad while I sat in the chair and who would fix my teeth. It has been incredibly hard to get me to go to the dentist because I get so much anxiety due to past dental visits as well as it appeared cost prohibitive. I also kept putting everyone elses needs a head of mine. :-/ Heres what I got out of being a patient of Dr. Nguyen and his amazing staff: - Open, educational conversations about my teeth - Help in making choices. Learning long term implications about dental health (i.e. If I chose to deal with my teeth THIS way, these would be the long term consequences, if I chose THAT way, this would be the long term consequences) - High quality level of care (based on 4 visits) - I feel taken care of as a client before, during, and after my visits - Working with a highly confident and competent dental staff - I had the experience of everyone in the office being well rounded, generous, super easy to talk to and enjoyable - Dr. Nguyen is incredibly peaceful to be around - I didnt feel judged for the state of my teeth (crowding and cavities) - I look forward to visiting their office because theyre just really cool people Rock on Dr. Nguyen for envisioning a different kind of office, a different kind of dental experience, and picking a great group of people to support you in that vision. Who know going to the dentist would feel zen? Score. You all can contact me directly and ask questions. :)

11/4/2014 Just left Dr. Alex office, and yet again I felt like family. I have been seeing Dr. Nguyen for over 8+ years, and the one thing that he gave me back was my smile! When he was recommended to me, I had gone and had veneers put on my teeth by another dentist. When the veneers went on they were yellow, big and well I looked like I had gopher teeth. My brother is a dentist, but lives in Atlanta, GA. I went home and let him look at them, and he said you need to get them fixed....they were awful. This is where Dr. Alex comes in...an amazing dentist and someone who gave me my SMILE back. Now when I went to see him it was not a short process, because Alex is a perfectionist, an artist and a very, very talented cosmetic dentist. How I was lucky enough to have found him...I am thankful everyday when I see my smile. He was meticulous in the steps he took to right the horrible wrong to my teeth. And he didnt cut corners either. The temporaries looked really good as well, so you dont mind walking around why he does his perfectionist work in the background. He is very hard on his labs, and accepts only the best for his patients. He even told me that when the veneers came in, if they did not meet his specifications, he would be rescheduling my appointment and making the lab do them over. That happened 3 times, and on the 3rd I got my new smile!!!! Given the awful experience I had leading up to the final product, I was still petrified to have the real deal done, as once they are cemented there is no turning back. Alex was so wonderful reassuring me that he wouldnt permanently put anything in my mouth that didnt meet his standard of perfection. Perfection is what I know have in my smile now, and I travel from Morgan Hill to Saratoga twice a year to see the entire office, who I LOVE, to get my teeth cleaned. Today was another great day spent with a dental office and a dentist that I recommend to everyone...especially if you want to change your smile and have the most gorgeous teeth in California!
