Dr. Herwick started the orthodontic treatment on son too early when my son just turned 10 with only 4 permanent teeth (he physically matures 2 years behind average boys). Now 7 and half years later, he is still wearing a retainer. Of course 7 and half years passed. Dr. Herwick retired last year before he was able to finish the orthodontic treatment for my son. He sold his business to Dr. Sheikholeslam. About 1 and hald years ago when Dr. Sheikholeslam took over his business, the first thing she tried to do is to graduate my son while one of his bottom tooth was still crooked. I pointed it out. What is outrageous is that she charged me again for removing the permament wire retainer in addition of what she charged to fit him with a removable retainer. I asked why she charges us for removing the wire she was suppose to move anyway to graduate him, the reply was, "because the other option is to keep the wire that glued to his teeth in his mouth forever". We originally paid $6,300 for orthodontic treatment. Dr. Sheikholeslam charged another $400 to finish his treatment, of which $50 was to remove the wire. In my opinion, Dr. Sheikholeslam is in for the money, not the benefit of her patients. If she purchased a business, she needs to finish the work the other dentist left behind. In addition, never start your kid on orthodontic treatment too early. They suffer tremendously from the lengthy process.

My wife came home in tears today after an incident with my 5 year old son and Dr. Gorgiani. Im writing this review to prevent any other parents from having to go through the same experience. The main issue was the lack of consent and disclosure in filling my sons cavity. Imagine your reaction if you took your son to the examining room and were told to wait outside only to come back to your child under sedation passed out. At no time was the option of using nitrous oxide discussed and when questioned after the fact Dr. Gorgiani became very defensive and claimed that Nitrous oxide was used during the last visit (which it wasnt). It felt as if Dr. Gorgiani had something to hide - he was very nervious when questioned about the need to use nitrous oxide. He was rude when responding claiming that this was standard procedure with all patients. It felt like this was the quickest way and shortest path to getting paid without having to treat our son and my wife with any respect. Needless to say we wont be going back to Dr. Gorgiani. And we hope that no other parent experiences what we went through.

The worst monopolistic and money-minded dental practice in town. Its there RULES and their patients just have to live by them. They will NEVER accommodate you on a schedule that fits the patients. They have ‘rule’ designed by them to fit only them. If the doctor is on vacation, the practice does not allow you to be seen by another Dr. within the same practice, even if it’s for a routine cleaning or oral check-up. It’s a very frustrating process to reschedule appointments which they insist be taken 6 months ahead of time. By the time the actual appoint come around, either the date does not suit you anymore and you’ll have no luck getting another one anytime soon or they will simply bill you $50 for missing your appointment. They are an insensitive group of dentists, who mistakenly are in the business of helping other.

As a child I never had a positive experience at a dental office until I came to Dr. Nick. I was a patient of his from the age of 5 to 18 and I am not taking my 2 year old little girl to see him. He is absolutely wonderful with children, the staff is amazing and they really do provide a warm welcoming feeling. I couldnt imagine taking my daughter to any other dentist. She loves the office and cant wait for her next visit.

Dr. Kelly is the only dentist my son knows and weve never had a reason to go anywhere else. He looks forward to appointments and happily endures the discomfort because everyone is so friendly. A happy kid means happy parents so we cant complain. Just about everyone we know takes their kids here as well.

Both of my children love Dr. Gorgani and his staff. He is the most patient and loving dentist I have seen. My kids can not wait to go see him & their teeth are well taken care of. Hid office makes the dental experience a positive one with great dental care too.
