Horrible experience. Just horrible. I urge others to go elsewhere. Initially my appointment that I confirmed months in advance was cancelled due to "inclement weather" (1/7/17). No follow up was performed by the staff to accomodate this scheduling issue. I then reschedule my appointment with a specific date and time in mind due to the scheduling debacle earlier in the year. I came to my appointment this past weekend (8/19/17) only to find out that my appointment was cancelled since the staff "attempted" to reach me to confirm that I was still planning to attend. I am a busy person, I set my appointments well in advance and I follow through on my commitments. If my time serving in the U.S. Army at Fort Drum has thought me anything was to commit to the mission and stay the course. Acworth Center for Family Dentistry wasted my time, my gas, and my childrens time by neglecting their duty of care and showed piss poor service to not even have the appropriate staff available to see me on the day we agreed upon. Thank you for showing me the best quality of service your facility has. I am truly glad to take me business elsewhere.

I originally went to the Hiram location and they were busy. The receptionist was more than helpful because they had no availabilities at their location and actually called out to Acworth to get me in that morning as I was in a lot of pain. Upon my arrival at Acworth I was thoroughly impressed with their setup. I guess you could call the interior a Craftsman Style and put me at ease unlike your standard dental practice. I was not even done with the paperwork before I was called back. Once in the back the chair they sat me in had a TV on the wall. The View was on so I wont hold that against them. They actually brought me a remote and I was able to change it to something more my liking. As I waited for a few minutes I did my share of looking around and noticed they had a TV on the ceiling while theyre poking and prodding your mouth. My Doctor was very sweet and completely put me at ease with the process and actually gave me options of what I would prefer. I have a surgery scheduled soon and I have the utmost confidence in their abilities. I will be bringing the rest of my family to this practice.

I have a terrible fear of dentist! Growing up I had treatments by a dentist who rarely numbed the area for fillings etc. I only go when its an emergency, so of course a rather urgent need came up. After searching the web I was impressed by their website. I love that they have a "chat feature" on their website as I am hearing impaired and used the live chat as my initial contact. I then went to the office just to check out the front desk staff and I was greeted by a friendly receptionist who assured me they would make my visit as pleasant as possible. The actual dentist I would see (Destiny) happen to come in view and the receptionist introduced me to her and she greeted me. Scheduling was easy and very accommodating. Just a nice calm, professional atmosphere. First visit was a consult with Destiny (no pain). Now I see an oral surgeon and I can have treatment at the same facility as they have specialist on staff. Procedure, financial and what to expect was explained. All my questions answered. After this, I just might be able to "let go" of the bad childhood experiences!

Nobody enjoys trips to the dentist. This a universal truth. However, I was so surprised by the pleasant atmosphere and the kindness in which I was greeted. All of which started on my initial phone call. I was asked about what I didnt like at my last dentist and what they could have done better. As for my appointment, I waited only a couple of minutes before I was shown back for xrays and then seated waiting for the dentist. There was a TV on the wall and one on the ceiling as well. Very cool! I didnt have to wait long and soon enough we determined that I have a cavity. They didnt have time to take care of it that day so rescheduled me for the following week. The best part is that we were having difficulty due to the holiday weekend with my husbands insurance. They said that I could take the time and work it out and then pay for my visit the next time I come. Talk about excellent customer service. I was blown away. My only regret is that I didnt come here when I had to have my crowns done. A+

As a new patient, it took longer than I would like to schedule an appointment. I came early for a 2 pm appointment to do the typical paper work and the office was closed for lunch. It would have been nice to know that ahead of time on the phone and on the website. If you think you might want to use this dentist, I would be sure to check out the pictures on their website because this office has an open layout for its dental suites that might bother some people. It did not bother me and is now common in newer offices. On the paperwork given to you on your first visit, you are notified this dentist does use independent contractors and are not responsible for their work. It is my understanding this is not uncommon for dental hygienists to be independent contractors, but the paperwork does not say it is just dental hygienists rather it could be everyone in the office. The actual appointment was pleasant and great without delay.

We have recently become acquainted with new friends in a most unusual place - our new dentists office. Having just recently moved into this area we were searching for a new dentist and associates to give us care of our teeth. We chose Acworth Center for Family Dentistry primarily for the location which is close to our home. When we entered the office for the first time there was a feeling of success as we knew we had made the right decision. The atmosphere in the office is one of friendly caring of your needs and comfort. We were seeking help and advice on some major decisions concerning my husbands dental needs. After proper examination the dentist, Dr. Foote, discussed with us the choices we had and the procedures and the cost. The choices were made, the procedures were started and my husband is well on his way to have a very happy mouth - thanks to Acworth Center for Family Dentistry.

I just went in to see Dr. Foote for a second opinion (free).....didnt trust my first dentist. She and the entire staff were so professional, helpful, and nice. I felt I could trust them, so I decided to have them do all the work I needed to have done. Update 10/28/15.....Had 2 crowns replaced several weeks ago.....now with temp crowns. Dr. Foote and her staff did a great job. They work so well together....always knowing what the other is doing. She took the time to make sure my teeth were numb....which is very difficult for me. I am very impressed. They also have a financial plan that gets you discounts and services for a year. I signed up right away because it paid for itself with this first crown visit. Going in today to get my perm crowns put in. And of course going early to have lunch at Barb-B-Cutie next door....and of course bringing my toothbrush and floss.
