I have been bringing my dogs and cats for years and I get a attitude with the staff a lot but the last time I went will be the last and I am telling all of you out there do not go here because the staff is very inconsiderate for I took my dog there and I was containing my dog and a lady came in with a pit and walked her dog straight up to mine and put my dog and grandchild nose to nose with her dog and when I said out loud contain your dog well she continued to keep her dog next to mine.. I do not have a problem with the breed but do not know how the dog is raised and my grandchildren are 4 years old and 6 mtgs old and the dog was on top of us and a lady was there for her dog and even said something to the lady and nothing was done and the staff saw this and said nothing even when I went to them and asked for a room because of the problem and they told me that they did not have a empty room to put us in and was told that I should not bring my children there and how I should have a babysitter to come there. I feel that this should have been handled by the staff and was not so anyone that needs to go to the vet go to Paul Hunter at fairmount they do not put up with things like this and they will treat you with respect and not tell you not to bring in your children for this is so not right to let things go on like this. Also the staff and the lady were hispanic so part of the problem is that I am causation

My family and I are huge animal lovers and for the longest we were looking for a good place to take our pets too. We were so happy when we found Richeys animal clinic. They are very friendly, we have never had a problem with any of the staff or veterinarians. Last year I had to put my cat of 12 years to sleep and they were so compassionate. Another thing I love about Richeys animal clinic is before they do any procedure they always go over the cost and other options you can do, They are always honest with you too, they never tell you to do things that are unnecessary just to charge you, so you are never stunned with your bill at the end. Whenever a friend of a relative is looking for a good veterinarian I always recommend them to Richeys! Thank you so much for all that you do.

Dr. Nester and all of her staff are GREAT!! My 4 month puppy began vomiting so I called them to try to get an appointment, and they let me bring her in right away! She had parvo! They began treating her right away! If they hadnt been able to get her in as fast as they did she may not have made it through the night! They saved my puppy and I am very thankful! Their prices are very reasonable and they were even able to give me some donated medications to help her recovery as well! On day three of taking her back for her treatments by puppy was jumping and licking all over Dr. Nester, which told me that she must be taking great care of her! I would recommend Dr. Nester and her staff to anyone I know. Nala and I are forever grateful!

GREAT! Ever since my vet on Fairmont closed I have been looking for a place to care for my pets. I have been here once and I had a great experience. A place that doesnt discriminate on breed, age or circumstances. Their focus seems to be the quality of care they provide not the amount of patients they can squeeze in for a day. With regards to the previous statement mentioned by the lady claiming the staff had a bad attitude; I received absolutely ZERO attitude. My visit was pleasant and refreshing. Obviously some of us still have issues. Thanks to all the staff for taking care of Zoey.

I have two kittens, one which had been throwing up for about 24 hours, and both needed boosters but between bills needing to get paid and needing to be at work asap I was desperate. I was told about RAC and showed up at 7:40 am, hoping to get in as early possible but had no hope of getting out within 1-2 hours but Dr. Schmidt was amazing and opened early and even took them in a room before his 8am appt showed up. The nurses were great at keeping the kittens as calm as possible and the bill was not as scary as I was expecting. Has definitely become my go-to clinic for vaccines and exams!

I love the people here! They are very warm and caring towards all of 4 my fur babies; 2 boy dogs and 2 girl kitties. They were especially good to my black lab mix when he got so sick from being a guest of the city of Houston for two weeks through no fault of his own. They worked really hard to get him back on the right path and got him healthy again. We will forever be in their debt. Their prices are very reasonable and we LOVE the senior discount! I recommend them all the time to my friends!

I took my fur baby here for the first time this past weekend for his annual. I got there about 20 mins before my appt and they went ahead and saw him. I was in and out in about 30 mins. The techs and veterinarian were very nice. He started to panick when they were drawing blood for his heartworm test and they were very patient and helped him stay calm. Im very impressed with Richey Animal Clinic. This will be his vet from now on!

My dog was borderline fixing to die on me and after dealing with a quack ER doctor on edgebrook this clinic went to work and that same day I seen instant results they held him for a few hours and worked theyre magic . Im sold for life with this vet. Very kind and caring employees here who are genuine pet lovers. Damn good prices as well for shots and check ups so far that Ive found .

I asked if I could walk in and said I didnt have an appointment the girl at the front desk said they would be able to see my dog but didnt say that first they would see all their appointments so I waited an hr before they could have told me that ??? Never coming here or recommending!

Been taking pets here for 16 years now and we have never had one problem. Great people and service. Theyve been nothing but nice and helpful, I see theres bad reviews here but sometimes you have to be a good customer to receive good customer service. I recommend this vet to everyone

Worst place Ive been to. Do NOT take your pets there. I took my puppy because he wasnt feeling well and they did absolutely nothing, couldnt explain what was happening to him either, and the shots they gave him made him even worse!
