I have nothing but good things to say about this clinic! Had my first visit just the other day and will definitely be going back! Arrived in Houston with our dog a month ago and she needed to have a heart-worm test and just a general check-up. After searching around on the internet, found this place with very good reviews and conveniently close to my house, and a Petsmart! Decided to try it out and got an appointment for the next day. Found it easily but when we arrived the car park was empty, which shocked me. Took my dog in and was immediately greeted by the receptionists who were great, and thankfully not over-friendly. They were also very sweet to my dog. Waited for about 10 minutes in the very clean and well-decorated reception. When I was called in the vet-tech was very sweet to our dog, who was visibly shaking from her nerves, and soon had her warming up. She was very friendly and asked us a few questions before telling us all that we needed to know about pet care in Houston. Dr. Lynda Case then came in and examined our dog and was very gentle. She was also very sympathetic about our dogs past (she is a rescue) and offered us advice about her existing hip and leg problems, giving us all the options. Checked her vaccination records and told us she needed the kennel cough vaccine, which was promptly given. Our dog was too nervous to take all the cookies that were offered though! Went back out to the reception where I was dreading the cost of such a seemingly top-notch practice, but was pleasantly surprised. We received a heart-worm test, heart-guard tablets, the kennel cough vaccine, and an examination, for the price it cost to take our old guinea pig to the vets for a check-up when we lived in Sugar Land a few years ago! On the receipt they gave us reminders about when her next shots were due and everything. After having a very pleasant experience there I was looking at there website where I found a pet-portal where your pet has its own profile and all of its medical information is stored online and in their data-base. It gives you reminders when their shots are due and ways to order more medication. I dont know if other vets have this too but I thought it was great! Basically, after just one visit, I love this place. It has a great location, friendly staff, great doctors, and is very organized. Good luck!

Ive been going to this vet for about a year now. I have 2 older min pins and never once has anyone used the word geriatric! After hearing that at the last several vets weve been to, I was sick to death of the word. They are super sweet to my animals, take the time to listen and explain and answer questions, and have repeatedly called me with results from exams. The vet techs are all great as well. I never feel rushed and the place is kept extremely clean. They are hoping to open a boarding place soon too (they currently have a few boarding spots, but this will be in an adjacent building). I never board my dogs, but would feel comfortable leaving them there if I had to. Highly recommended!

Dr. Pilgram is enthusiastic, fun, and communicative. We felt like she was really on our side and the side of our pet. She communicated in a timely manner, when she said she would, and was always respectful of our time. We were given plenty of options and freedom to make the right choices for our pet and our family. We felt like we would be supported no matter what option we chose (aggressive treatment or not.) Our pet had a similar episode in another city and the care cost twice as much with much worse kennel-side manner. The other staff were helpful and flexible as well. Prescriptions and medications were provided with no fuss, and they made considerable efforts to contact previous vets.

I cannot speak highly enough of this clinic. Theyve taken care of my dog Max for a number of years and hes a highly anxious, stressed out pittie when he boards. Pre-Harvey, my company required me to evacuate and I had to leave Max with WH - I got email and text message updates reassuring me that he was being taken care of in the storm and doing well. They have kind and friendly technicians, the vets are excellent and they go above and beyond to make sure you stay informed. Thanks for being excellent.

Great caring doctors and staff. Dr. Case was awesome in treating my oldest dog by removing a cancerous tumor and the aftercare such treatment requires. Talia worked with me and basically held my hand throughout the process". Susan was a bright and friendly face at the front. Dawn was such a caring professional vet technician that my big ol pitbull was calm and trusted her.

Ive taken my pets here for 8 years I always get great service from everyone. Front desk staff is helpful and always gets you what you need when you ask for it. The techs and vets truly love animals and they treat my sometimes aggressive pets without hesitation. As someone with a semi feral cat and a fear aggressive dog, its so nice to have a vet that understands!

I cannot express how much I love the vets and staff at Washington Heights Vet Clinic. I have been taking my animals to Dr. Case for the past 10 years and she is one of the most caring and knowledgeable vets Ive ever been to. The front end staff is very warm and friendly as well. If you need a vet practice in the Houston area, I would highly recommend them!

Ive taken my 5 year old dobie to 3 or 4 other vets in other areas of Texas and Dr. McAdoo and WH Vet has been my best experience by far. They have a convenient early drop off for your pup, and after the exam you get a call from the vet with a detailed explanation of what they did/found/ect. If youre looking for a vet in houston, this is the place.

Ive been looking for a vet for sometime now. We had our first appointment yesterday and I think we found our perfect vet! Everyone was so kind, welcoming and thorough. They answered all my questions and explained everything they were doing and why. Dr. Hipke is truly wonderful! Well definitely be back!

They seem fairly competent overall, but their remedy for everything is an absurd amount of lab testing. Re-testing poop for worms weeks after theyve cleared up? Lab test for a dogs ear infection instead of just treating it? It never ends. Im going elsewhere with my dogs.

I looooooove them!!! They have the best Vet, Best Tech, Best office staff! They are super friendly, very knowledgeable, and I love how they make my animals feels welcomed and comfortable. The clinic itself is very clean! I just love everything about them.

Our family has been going here for 7+ years. We love the place. Everyone is nice, they are willing to work with your schedule, and they do a great job. Dr. Case is our favorite, but we have had experience with most of them and have liked them all.

This place is absolutely amazing. My puppy when I got him was very sick. Theyve done a great job to help him become very healthy and happy pup! I also board both my dogs there frequently and theres never any problems. I will board them there only!
