Please note this review is for the River Rd. location and the appointment scheduler, Derrick. Today I had a follow up appointment with my orthopedic physician to review my MRI and arthogram results that were performed after I dislocated my shoulder. I was thrilled that he released me to PT and that my rotator cuff was intact and I could start working on getting my shoulder stronger and I could finally get KT tape applied to my shoulder by a professional instead of my poor husband having to do it while watching a You Tube video. I was provided a list of PT providers contracted with my insurance. When I read the excellent reviews of Agility and that they offered the services that I needed I was very pleased. I called to schedule an appointment and when I spoke with Derrick, I was stunned to learn that Agility will not schedule a new patient appointment until they have spoken with your insurance even though they are a contracted provider for my insurance and no prior authorization is required, I have a physicians order and I had already verified my PT coverage with my insurance. Derrick was snarky and patronizing. I called back and asked to speak with the office manager and was informed that she was not available. He did not offer to allow me to leave a message or have her call me when she was available. He went into a rude inappropriate explanation informing me that many of their patients cannot afford their services and that is why he cannot schedule an appointment until he speaks with my insurance company???? Really??? I asked him if he would like run a credit report, background check and employer verification since he was acting as if I was indigent, malingering and in arrears with my bills. He called back and informed me that he had spoken with my insurance and could now schedule an appointment and told me my co-pay amount which I already know as it is on my insurance website and on my insurance card ---- duh. He scheduled me for an appointment on the 23rd and never gave me a time, which I didnt realize until afterwards. He offered to schedule my appointments for the next 6 weeks which I declined. I am willing to go for one visit and see how I am treated by the therapists and other staff, but I will not schedule 6 weeks of appointments until I know for sure that I am pleased with their services. I have NEVER called a physicians office or other health care provider as a new patient and been informed that they absolutely will not schedule an appointment without speaking personally with your insurance provider. All that ever have to do is provide them my insurance number, date of birth, etc. I know that they verify with my insurance after the schedule the appointment, but they make the appointment. Seems to me from reviewing their website they are more concerned about insurance than patients.

Agility Spine & Sports PT just keeps on getting better. After trying injections, surgery and yes even meds, the hands on approach with Agility has worked best of all. They motivate you, they care for you and they work with you to help you recover and get back on your feet. The entire staff is "spot on" and they really do care about you. They take plenty of time to listen to your issues, concerns and they work with you on your bad days and your good days. (believe me when your injured or in pain it helps to have a healthcare professional listen to you with compassion) The front office always offers a cheerful greeting and they have worked very closely with my insurance company so there were no surprises. I liked that a lot. I am thankful for Agility in helping me get back on my feet.

Being a Care Giver for 14 years, I have been to many physical therapy clinics with my patients. I found Adriene Perrys clinic to be the best. When I came to Agility, for myself, I learned her clinic had merged with them. I can understand how this transpired due to the excellent, one on one, care I received from Agility. Their therapists are extremely knowledgeable and friendly. They have helped me after two hip replacements and I will definitely return to them after my left knee replacement. In my estimation, I would give them 10 stars, yet I only had 5 to choose from.

I go to Agility on Tanque Verde. This place is fantastic. The staff is friendly and outgoing. They explain everything they are doing and why they are doing it before they do it. They also "chat" with you while doing your therapy, so it does not feel as long as it is. Mark Roberts is absolutely wonderful. My Doctors diagnosis was incorrect and he suggested more tests to find out the correct problem. Without him I would still be receiving treatment for a pulled muscle instead of the severe arthritis that I actually have.

"Graduated" today and got to bang the gong, kind of sad as the St. Marys location is such a great supportive environment. The entire staff from front desk to therapists are excellent. My DPT was Nicolas K who was professional, knowledgeable, and informative. I felt encouraged the whole time I spent there and feel confident I will be able to continue the home program. Planning on returning after my next knee replacement (right knee hopefully in Jan2017). Highly recommend.

This is for Orange Grove-Adrienne Parrys group. Always professional and have helped me enormously. I have used them for a few different issues and they have helped resolve those through treatment and preventive exercises and saved me from a surgery. They have also given me recommendations for services such as exercise tailored to my issues, massage therapy, etc. My son was also treated there for a sports-related injury. Highly recommend them.

They work hard to help you to feel better. Clean facilities and a fun atmosphere! You even get to ring a Gong when you are done with your therapy!!! I would recommend anyone that needs Physical Therapy to come here!

I started going to Agility on Tanque Verde for pain relief in my right hip. Tiffany Hodges determined I had severe muscle imbalances and I was given strengthening and stretching exercises to do at home. Those along with dry needling in the clinic have me almost pain free. The staff are friendly and professional. I highly recommend this physical therapy clinic!
