Acupuncturist have low standards. Physical therapist are true patient advocates. Unlike acupuncturist. Acupuncture as an industry was and is responsible for trying to prevent patients from being able to pick their own providers and been successful in 6 states in the USA. Southwest acupuncture college students are forced to pay the colorado acupuncture association with student loan money after federal subsidies were enacted. This was ordered by the Council of colleges for oriental medicine and is nation wide for all acupuncture schools. The Colorado acupuncture association used this dirty money to try to prevent a demographic of the patient population that was not being serviced by acupuncture from being able to pick different providers, namely physical therapist and dry needling. Acupuncture is "complimentary healthcare".They cant take insurance for chronic problems because most insurance companies will only allow 12 visits a year and that is actually why most acupuncturist dont take insurance. They cant. Whats funny about this is here we have a tangible example of how liberal ideals increase education cost and lower standards in healthcare. Thank god for PT.

I have been a patient for many years and since I have been a patient of VIMG I have not only been able to stay active, but actually become MUCH more active through treatments, learning how to take preventative measures to avoid injuries and recover much quicker after any injuries or intense races. I have worked with Dr. Mark Pitcher the most and he has been invaluable in my growth as an active middle-aged adult who is in much better shape now than I was several decades ago. I have many drug allergies and Dr. Mark and Adam Plummer have been a key part in avoiding surgery and taking any medications. I really dont know where I would be without their help throughout the years. Dr. Mark has also treated my daughter from early childhood into adulthood. Even though she lives in another city, she will not see anyone else where she lives. She still travels to Vail & Edwards for treatments. I highly recommend the entire staff who I have seen, but owe MANY thanks to Dr. Mark Pitcher and Adam Plummer who I have seen the most.

Dr. Mark is the best. Ive been involved in very physically taxing athletic activities my entire life. I played lacrosse in college, ski raced, skydive and am a triathlete; a season hasnt gone by where I havent had some major impact to my body. About 7 years ago I had a severely hard impact to my lower back, Ive seen probably a dozen chiropractors as Ive moved around the country from NYC to NOLA to Houston and now Colorado. Dr. Mark was not only the most thorough in explaining the ailments he found - he has been the best at resolving these issues. After 1 session of full body adjustments and dry needling (never had that done before - amazing), my body has felt better than I can remember. He isolated the issues and treated aggressively. I will continue to see Dr. Mark to keep my body tuned and firing correctly. Cant say enough.

My experiences with Dr. Mark at VIMG have all been truly exceptional. First and most notably, Dr. Mark is a great person, and clearly genuinely cares about the well being of his patients. Which I believe only makes him that much better at his craft. He is hands down the best chiropractor I have ever worked with. Being an athlete, I have been threw injuries and treatment my whole life. Mark is truly talented at what he does, and here is why. He is outstanding at identifying what is going on with your body, what is out of place, where and why. From there he does so well to provide as much immediate results as possible, while also providing you with the understanding and methods to become as preventative with future issues as possible. I have and would continue to recommend Dr. Mark to any one I know.

Thanks Dr. Mark Pitcher for giving me back my range of motion. You took the time to do a head to toe assessment and "fix" the many areas of scar tissue and adhesions that had been plaguing me for 10 years using Graston and ART therapy. I appreciate your willingness to take on a patient with a rheumatoid disorder. Much of my pain is resolved and I am back to playing tennis again. It is a joy to go to my active job as a dialysis nurse and be able to care for my patients without the usual pain associated with bending over. Thanks again, Sue Vogel, Sheridan, WY

I am impressed and pleased with the care from Dr. Mark Pitcher at VIMG. He has helped to relieve pain and heal some chronic issues. I appreciate the helpful exersizes for at home therapy to continue my progress. I feel like he is knowledgeable and caring individual. I have seen him in both Edwards and Eagle offices and find both spaces clean, comfortable and easy access for parking. VIMG has been a great place to do physical therapy with many services in one spot.

Made a last minute appointment with Dr. Mike while staying at the lodge and couldnt be more pleased! As an avid weight lifter, I came in with a list of issues. He listened to my pains and knew exactly how to solve or explain them to me. Would highly recommend for any athlete or anyone in need of someone who cares and know the best techniques to solve your issues
