Couldnt even make an appointment. You know you have called the wrong doctor when the receptionists first words are, "Do you have Medicare or Medicaid?" I said I had Medicare but I would not be using insurance; I would pay cash. I was then told the doctor did not accept new Medicare patients even if they PAID CASH! I asked if I had no insurance and paid cash if they would accept me. The answer was yes. So please tell me what the logic of this is? Cash is cash. I hung up and called a doctor who accepts new patients, didnt ask if I had insurance or how I plan to pay, and got an appointment for the following Monday (I called on Friday).
