Dr. Adairs service was excellent including the staff who performed the routine eye exam on me this June 2017. I was a patient only in 2016 and decided to go back again this 2017. However, I cannot fully appreciate the optical section of the center because the costs of the vision frames & lenses are quite expensive. In 2016, I ended up purchasing frames & lenses from them for both my regular eyeglasses & sunglasses. I needed a new pair of prescription glasses based from Dr. Edwin Adairs eye exam during the afternoon on June 20, 2017. Because I was not mindful enough to read what I have signed for when I did the purchase of both my glasses & sunglasses on June 20, 2017, I have been penalized with a restocking fee for doing a cancellation of my order the next day, June 21, 2017 in the morning. However, I was told that the lenses when I purchased my order that it will take about 2 weeks to arrive from date of purchase. I had to cancel my sunglasses lenses order because I realized overnight that it was too much costs for an ordinary retired lady like me. I was advised that I needed to pay 30% of the cost of the sunglasses lenses as a restocking fee. This restocking policy of the New Era Center is somewhat too harsh for a patient/customer like me who cancelled an order the next day from the date of purchase. Because of this very UNPLEASANT EXPERIENCE, I have DECIDED that I will not RETURN as a patient of the New Era Eye Center, Clifton, VA in the future. VERY DISSATISFIED. CUSTOMER !!!

I love New Era Eyecare. Dr. Adair is very knowledgeable, personable and has been doing a fantastic job for me for the past two years. He explained all the procedures and products to me in simple, easy to understand terms. He and his staff spent extra time ensuring that I got the best products available and that I was happy with them. They also worked with my insurance plan to make sure that I paid them minimum amount possible. When I scratched one of the lenses on my eyeglasses several months later he replaced it under warranty at no cost to me. Dr. Adair runs a clean, well organized office with unmatched service. He is the best by far. I am very happy with his service and look forward to my next visit.

I came to Dr. Adair many years ago and his service has only gotten better. He makes sure his equipment is state-of-the-art. His staff is very friendly and know what theyre doing. I trust them all. He was able to detect a medical problem with one of my eyes and sent me to see a very good retina specialist, who repaired the problem. Dr. Adair is very friendly and always remembers my family. He explains everything hes doing and thoroughly answers any questions I may have. I once had my eye bleed and he came in on his day off to examine it. He cares about all his patients and shows it. Im always recommending Dr. Adair to people and will continue to do so in the future.

Fantastic hours - I went in close to 7 pm, which is unusual for the other appointments Ive scheduled and was hugely beneficial due to my work hours. Great staff - friendly, knowledgeable, and super clear about costs and insurance (they drew out all the numbers on a blank piece of paper, walked me through each of them, and gave me options for which ones I could choose). Quick visit - Dr. Adair was amicable but professional. The trip was quick and thorough. Moral of the story - I highly recommend this office, and Im definitely going back for my next checkup.

Dr. Adair and his staff were professional and cordial. I felt welcome as soon as I walked in the door. Dr Adair took the time to explain what the retina photos were revealing about my eye health as well as changes in my prescription. After being disappointed by the repeated record keeping issues of the mass marketing eyecare shop in the local area, I have confidence in the one on one care I received at New Era Eyecare. I hope to be able to continue to recommend this office year over year.

Great service at New Era Eyecare. On short notice I was able to schedule an appointment. First we were met by Dr Adairs friendly staff who took care of the intake and initial measurements. Shortly after we were met by Dr Adair who takes his profession very seriously, is very friendly and takes all the time for great advice. This place is amazing. I know I havent been to an eyecare facility in a while, but their technology is not only super cool but clearly state of the art. The doctor was very informative and gave it all to me in a way anyone could understand. I really enjoyed that. Also, I purchased my glasses from them as well and they have awesome customer service! People there are super chill and make it really easy to talk to regarding your purchase.

I took my mother to see Dr. Adair. She hadnt been to an optometrist in over 10 years. Unfortunately, my mother pretty much distrusts all doctors. She actually distrusts most people outside of her family, but she liked Dr. Adair and decided to wait 3 months for him to open his store to get glasses. If he can work with my mother than he can work with anyone. Thanks!

Beyond excellent customer service. For over the past year, Ive been having recurring issues with my contacts not working, and Harris always tried to ameliorate the problem very expediently. As of this writing, they led me to discover I need 1 dailys, and my eyes feel 10x better! The optometrist Dr. Adair was very helpful as well!

Very professional staff. Prompt excellent service, I had new insurance and they walked me through every step to help me understand my new policy and get the most from my coverage. Dr Adair took his time and was very thorough. My insurance didnt give me a wide selection, but they were very helpful working with what was available.

Bought a groupon and was VERY happy with the care I receive. I dont usually trust those group deals to provide high quality service but this office was definitely worth it. Both doctors were friendly and helpful and the other office staff was excellent as well. Cant wait to get my glasses! I will definitely go back again

Dr Adair has the very latest technology (and knows/will explain when and why to use it) which is especially helpful (and potentially life saving) if issues like melanomas, high pressures, or "floaters" are a concern. He and his staff are great. And, they accepted and clarified my insurance plan!
