Had exam and then was brought 4 pages of work needed all totalling over 3k with insurance while still in chair. Needed a flipper for a front tooth that had broke off and was told to have at least 280$ down (1/3) after 7 weeks of saving it up cause we are one one income, called to schedule and was told they had a new dentist and office manager and they need the "full amount before I can walk out" also pointed out there was a bad infection on the tooth but never offered antibiotics. I had to go through my pcp for them so that the infection didnt spread to the bone, sinus cavity or brain. So, no I do not recommended this office.

Since I started using Hamden Dental in April I have seen three different dentists which is concerning to me in terms of continuity of care. However, I have to say the support staff has been phenomenal. Yolanda the hygienist and assistants Jordana and Renee are very knowledgeable and capable. The entire staff is professional and pleasant. I have to have a few more procedures but up to this point my work has been excellent.

Im so glad I found this office. Yolanda was an amazing hygienist and really took the time to be friendly, make me feel at ease, and also gave me the best cleaning Ive ever had!!! I didnt know that stains could be removed and my teeth could become so white from just a cleaning!!! cant wait to get my teeth whitened soon as well. :)

This dental group actually read all the information I provided on my first visit - what I liked and didnt when visiting the dentist - then actually acted on it. The entire staff was enthusiastic and greeted me with smiles. I didnt have to wait for my appointment and was out early. Ill be coming back...

Had a horrible tooth ache and they got me in the same day. Staff was great from the front desk to the people in the back. Very knowledgeable dentist explained things perfectly without talking down. Prices are very fair and they do not pressure you, finally found a great dentist !

From my son, Andreas (8 years-old): At first I was really nervous, but then the shot didnt hurt too bad. I didnt like the drilling part, then after that, it was fine. After the drilling, the dentist appointment was almost over. I didnt mind the sealant, but it didnt taste good.

Assertive, friendly, actually fun as well, let me know what they would do during procedure before appointment and during appointment. I appreciate the reminder texts and when I had insurance issues with waiting periods and stuff, they helped me.

i would highly recommend this dentist for anyone there are very friendly and the dentist and hygienist there explain to you all your procedures and how they would like to go about it. everyone there is so great from check in to check out.
