Dr. Bacia and everyone that works at Powers Drive are kind to the animals and customers. Im a first time pet owner and have a fear of dogs. They have worked with me so I always felt safe even if that was allowing me to wait in a patient room while an unruly dog was entering or leaving the facility. Dr. Louie not even knowing me assured the vet tech that it was fine for me to stay in the room while a dog left the building. I have had a lot of questions the ladies on the phone and the doctors have always been patient and encouraging. I recently had a wonderful experience of having my animal spayed. They made sure I knew what to expect the day of the surgery and the weeks following the surgery. The morning I went in to have her spayed they had two emergencys. They were still able to get my pet back in a timely manner after seeing to the dogs that were having emergencys and the atmosphere was calm. I drive a good distance to see Dr. Bacia and would recommend him or Dr. Louie to anyone and especially a first time pet owner because of their patience and passion for what they do. Thank you!!!

My dog was attacked at a dog park in the late afternoon today. I just moved to the area and had not yet chosen a veterinarian. They made the room to see us, and they were very patient with my pain stricken dog (and me). The front desk staff is very courteous and efficient. We had no real wait to see the doctor. Dr. Sardenga thoroughly examined my baby, and he took the time to discuss the medication options. After the injury was addressed, they also made sure my dog was up to date for her vaccines and tests- which I greatly appreciated. The support staff in the back also deserves a special mention-especially a tech (I think her name is Dotty) who held my dog gently and firmly all the while maintaining calm. My dog is very friendly, but she was in pain, and she is a 59 lb bulldog that many people would be afraid of. The check out process was also smooth, quick and friendly. The bill was very reasonable too! I look forward to visiting them in the future.

June 23, 2015 Dr. Baccia, I apologize in the tardiness of this letter; it is long overdue. My family and I would like to thank you for helping Esmeralda overcome a near death experience recently. I was extremely grateful that you were able to see us at a moments notice. You were capable of diagnosing her immediately with a seizure and hypoglycemia. Your quick actions brought her back to a fast recovery. Not only did you stabilize her, but even decided to keep her under observation for the rest of the day. You also provided us with an off-site, after hours emergency clinic in case she relapsed. I was so impressed by your empathy and the measure that you took to care for our precious Miniature Pinscher that I decided to bring Esmeralda back for future medical treatments, including her recent dental surgery. You have truly earned my business. Thank you again to you and your staff. The Ospina Family

While I dearly love Dr. Bacia and Dr. Sardenga there is a Vet Tech that works there that should be FIRED. She is black and has dreadlocks or braids (I cant tell the difference. She is hateful and mean to the animals, and not any nicer to the people! Dr. Bacia was not at the office the day I went in, there was a nice older gentleman there (Vet) who was trying to talk to me but couldnt even talk to me because she wouldnt stop shouting at me about how fat my dog is. I am a college educated woman and happen to know that when my dog gained weight when he was put on prednisone for allergies. From the amount of food she said to feed him, the poor dog would starve. I will not go back there because of her.

I brought my heart dog here, after she had already started a growth on her lip. They were very very very good with my temperamental and somewhat aggressive Mia. Never asked to put a muzzle on her, not once. The biopsy was not a good result, of no fault of the doctor. We talked and throughout Mias fight, they kept in contact with the oncologist. I was never pushed to say goodbye to my friend before Mia was ready, while never being told or expected to buy meds. I can not say enough for how much the WHOLE staff cared, and the whole staff seemed to take a special something from the one thing that gave me so much, my Mia. Thank you Guys!!!!

I cant begin to express my appreciation to the entire staff at Powers Drive Animal Hospital. The staff is outstanding and Drs Bacia, Louie and Hall are heaven sent. Unfortunately we have moved out of state; however, I still come into town consistently. I know it is impractical; but, I bring my pups with me if/when they have issues. The greatest compliment I can give is that Powers Drive Animal Hospital has my trust. Do yourself; and most of all your pets, a favor and make this the place for their care. They get more than just excellent medical care they get compassion as well.

I have been bring my maltese here since 2007. The front desk staffs are wonderful. They are always nice and cheerful. They dont over book patients so the max I have seen in the waiting room are 4. Those are the first appointments on Saturday morning. Pricing are better than all clinics within 50 miles radius. The back office assistants are kind, helpful and pretty (sorry, I had to add that). The Dr. I like the most is the owner. Sadly, he retired some years ago. All and all, you owe it to your dog and your pocket book to check out this clinic.

Three of the most caring healers you will ever hope to find. Dr. Bacia and Dr. Miller literally saved our dog when our former veterinarian seemed unable to find out what was wrong. When our dog was going through the worst of it, Dr. Bacia would call just about every other day to check on him. Dr. Miller has also called and I feel sure Dr. Sardenga would do the same if need be. They really do care.

I found this Animal Hospital from an internet search after moving to Orlando last year. I have been taking my Basset for routine care and treatment and have been very satisfied. Both the staff and veterinarians have been extremely courteous and thorough in treatment and handling. I recommend them to all my fellow animals owners I meet and will continue to do so.

This is the only place to go. We drive almost an hour to get there and would never consider going anywhere else. The doctors there truly love what they do and it shows in the way they treat your pet. It is as if they are treating one of their own babies. The staff, the doctors are all just so wonderful. For us, there is no other vet. :)
