After reading the reviews about how great their prices were, I decided to stop by today to make an appointment for a puppy and to get some prices on other services. I was quoted an exam fee of $45 and an x-ray fee of $185!!! $45 exam fee?!? On average most vets charge $22-36. I inquired about a spay for mama dog who is 95 pounds. $500 and that is WITHOUT the blood work. Spay n Save is $110. Finally, I asked about a litter exam for 7 puppies. $96 total ($75 for exams and $21 for biohazard fee). This includes the vaccines. This price was not bad at all... until I asked about health certificates. The price went up to an estimate between $500 and $560!!! I thought she was talking about mamas spay again... but she corrected me and said that was for 7 health certificates and exams. I asked her if she wanted to double check the prices with someone and she said no, that those were the prices. Affordable is definitely not a word I would use to describe this place. Although everyone I encountered in there was friendly, based on my experience, I would not recommend this place if you are looking for low cost options. I will continue to use Dr. Sands and her wonderful staff at Apopka Veterinary Clinic, where I have been going since 2000. She is definitely a lot more cost effective.

The other reviews seem to be an ad and a review on a pizza place... ignore those. Dr. Christmann is a wonderful vet. Weve taken our puppy to him for his shots and we brought our kitty in to be spayed and declawed. I have volunteered for years with animal rescue groups and have been to practically every low-cost vet clinic in three states and I have never seen such a clean spay. Even my moms vet, who charged $400 (nearly 3 times the price I paid) to spay her cat, didnt do as good of a job. There was no swelling, no redness, the she didnt seem to be in any pain at all. The vet has been so loving and friendly towards our puppy, too. Its so great to have a vet with knowledge, skill, attention, and passion as a full-cost vet clinic, but with prices barely higher than the humane society and other "fast-food" clinics. I recommend this vet 100% to everyone I know in the area and beyond it... We drive all the way from Clermont (about 40 minutes) to see Dr. Christmann and its totally worth it!

The last 2 times i took my dog there my credit card was compromised. I went last year about this time and used a credit card i never use. The next day my bank called and told me someone attempt to get a $400 cash advance. had to replace the card. Since this happens to people i didnt think twice I was just happy they caught it. I took my dog in again about a month ago and used my Amex account that I rarely use. A few days later the account was used to make purchases online at home depot. Its too much of a coincidence that it happened twice after visiting the vet. Either an employee is doing this or their system is hacked. I called to speak to the manager who did nothing at all not even a follow up. so be warned to review your statements after visiting this office. I filed a complaint and will prosecute to the fullest extent of the law.

Wait times can be really long (even 60-90 minutes past your scheduled time), but its absolutely worth it. The prices are amazingly low (Beat the next lowest contender by 30% for a routine exam, eye stain, and antibiotics). Dr Hyatt projects an air of calm, confidence, and humor. You can tell instantly that he knows his field like the back of his hand and that youre in good hands. The staff here is friendly and pleasant, but extremely busy. Id recommend this location to anyone, without hesitation.

Dr Hyatt is a wonderful skilled vet Doctor.. he takes pride in his clients and staff and he truly shows how much he cares for animals. I will bring my fur babies to Dr Hyatt only!! When I lost my male cat a little over a year ago I received a sweet card signed personally by each staff member including the Doctor.. if youre looking for a good, safe, reliable vet office this is the one for you!

I took my dog here for an absess next to his eye and the vet claimed he fixed the problem, though there was still a hole in my dogs face. He ended up more sick the week after we left. The room they had us in had dog hair on the floor and there were gross stains on the wall. DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR PET. BETTER OF SPENDING MORE MONEY FOR QUALITY CARE!!!!

We love this place! The staff is friendly and helpful and always treat my dogs like one of thier own with extreme care and love. Thier services are extremely affordable and even the meds are in the same price range as any online Pet Meds. We drive an extra 30 minutes since we moved just to go here, I highly recommend this place to anyone that cares about their pets.

I brought my dog in about a year ago to euthanized him. I ended up finding out this doctor never euthanized him even though i paid about 165 dollars for it. The procedure was never done!! However, i ended up finding out my dog was still alive and was given to a pet rescue.
