The office staff and dentist team were all welcoming and acommodating. The hygentist, Ash, took his time explaining to my two year-old all the equipment he would be using and showed her how it would be used in her mouth. He made the experience fun for her which despite her reservations, opened her up to let him clean her teeth--the promise of a ballon, sticker, and toy helped too. I was glad that they allowed me to be with her just in case she needed a little extra encouragement, but she did great without me. Being able to watch her smile, laugh and follow the hygenyists instructions was a plus for me. Dr. Mike was very personable and had great bedside manner. Just a couple months ago we tried a non-pediatric office, but she was unreceptive to the service so Im glad we tried a pediatric clinic this time around and that McIlwains clinic was a pleasant experience. I would recommend his team to any parent. We visited the Habana location.

My son isnt afraid! I brought my three year old here from a reccomendation from another mom at his preschool. The staff are all at ease with children and take time to make little ones comfortable. The space is open, inviting and colorful. Everyone seems happy to work there like it is a genuine pleasure. This dentist is outside of my insurance provider network and also out of the way from where we live, but it is worth it! The pediatric side and adult side are sort of connected, and my little one had such a good experience that I switched my own dentist as well and started coming here.

I would provide 5 stars, but front desk staff is a little cold for a pediatric dentistry. That said....the dental hygenist my son had, Ash, was absolutely wonderful. I couldnt have asked for a better cleaning experience. My son, who is 6, gets extremely nervous...but Ash was great thoroughly explaining every tool and every step. Thank You!

Everything about this place is amazing! Dr. McIlwain is fantastic and knows what he is talking about! He will actually take care of your child professionally and recommend what the child actually NEEDS done vs what makes the office the most money! Thr pediatric dentistry industry need more dentists with his level of honor and integrity!!

McIlwain Dentistry has been our familys dentist for years. My kids started out here at a very young age and are now teenagers. They feel very comfortable with all of the staff. It feels like visiting old friends. As far as the adult portion of the practice, I couldnt be happier. I highly recommend McIliwain Dentistry.
