While I do not generally leave bad reviews for businesses, I was beyond disappointed by my experience with Rudolph Ped Dentist and feel other parents should be made aware. We were seeking a new dentist for my daughter for routine exams and cleanings. Upon finding Dr. Rudolphs office I called to make an appointment. I spent quite a bit of time on the phone with the receptionist asking questions relating to how their office works. While the receptionist was helpful I retrospectively see that I was just being given the hard sell to get us in the office. Upon our arrival for my daughters first visit we were informed that her xrays from just 5 months prior were not going to work and they needed to take new ones. Ok, fine. I was also then informed that we had no choice in deciding whether or not my daughter would receive a fluoride treatment. It was MANDATORY. Aside from the fact that a receptionist should avoid giving medical advice, this was just the beginning of the end. I asked to speak with the DOCTOR about these policies as I felt each patient should be considered on a individual basis. Upon our meeting with Dr. Rudolph it was very clear there is no "discussion." No actual informed consent OR refusal. We were met with "this is what we do for everyone, it is the standard, period." As a health care provider myself, I found this to be manipulative and quite frankly unethical. Providing patients with blanket care is not a trait I find alluring with any health care provider, particularly when it can directly affect my childs health. If you are a parent that would like to be involved in the health care of your child and not be fed lines about blanket standards, I would recommend you find another dentist.

My kids, 2 and 4 years old, had their first visits with Dr. Lesley today. It was my 2 year-olds first dental appointment, and everyone was warm and gentle with her. My 4 year-old had a blast with the video games and visit to the "treasure tower" as a reward at the end of his appointment. Everyone helped him to feel very proud of himself! I was impressed with the entire experience, from the first phone call to make the appointments to the time of check out -- everything proceeded smoothly and efficiently. The website is also great, with many electronic options to save time. All of the girls in the office staff are friendly and helpful. The facilities are impeccably clean, brand new, and modern with a comfortable lobby for parents (complete with coffee!). Plenty of parking is available in the lot. Of course, Dr. Lesley is wonderful! Shes great with kids and parents alike. Not only does she have great bedside manner, she clearly is very smart as well. Were so lucky to have found her and highly recommend this practice to anyone in the area!

I had a phenomenal experience this week with Dr. Lesley. It was my first visit to see her and she was incredibly gentle and very thorough. She went through each tooth and made a note about the status of each tooth in my chart to see what needed improvement. Also, Dr. Lesley found a cavity on one of my teeth. I told her I had an extremely tight schedule and would be out of town a lot and so instead of making me come back for another appointment to get the cavity filled, she worked far into her own lunch break to fill it for me on the spot. She goes above and beyond for her patients. Her chair side manner was very gentle and she made sure I was comfortable every step of the way. It was clear from my visit as to why she got the top score in the country on her dental board examination.

I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Lesley to anyone looking for a Pediatric Dentist in the Tampa Bay area. She is wonderful with children and is very willing to teach me, the parent, about what I need to do to make sure my childrens teeth are healthy! Also, I would encourage ALL PARENTS to have their child seen early (2 or earlier!). My daughter had hypoplasia (a deformed tooth with little enamel) on be back molar and it might have been prevented had I gone earlier than the recommended age of 3. Dr. Lesley is amazing and I look forward to taking my 3 children to her for years to come.

My 3 yr old daughter had her first dentist appointment yesterday afternoon. Dr. Lesley and her staff were very kind and gentle with my little one, who was excited about her first visit. They were so very patient with her when she was apprehensive about one tool which is used to clean her teeth. Overall, my daughter had a great experience and gave no problems last night washing her teeth with her new Dora toothbrush and SpongeBog toothpaste (provided by Dr. Lesley). Well defiinitely be coming back in December for her next visit!

Today my son had his first ever dentist visit with Dr. Lesley. She and her staff were all kind, patient, and gentle. He is only 3 and very scared of new medical experiences but they all put him at complete ease and were extremely developmentally appropriate with him. They let him have some control, which really helped him to feel good. Dr. Lesley really knows her "stuff" and we are happy to now be patients at South Tampa Pediatric Dentistry! :) Andi (and Ethan)

I recently took my twin boys in to see Dr. Lesley at South Tampa Pediatric Dentistry. She was so patient with the boys and thorough on her exam, even while one was not cooperating. Her assisted actually played with one while we were doing the 2nd exam. Everyone was very friendly and the overall experience was much less stressful that I thought a first dental visit would be. I will recommend Dr. Lesley to anyone!

Excellent!!! The whole experience was so pleasant, I want to go there for myself but they wont take anyone above 18. They were right on time which is so refreshing. The TV screen above the dental chair was a brilliant idea. My son never even noticed them polishing his teeth, a step he usually hates. He got to pick a little prize for taking good care of his teeth. He left very happy.

The front desk are very nice. Yolien, my sons hygenist is very skillfull and she did an excellent job in cleaning his teeth and making sure my son is comfortable during the procedure. She also explained what I need to do to help my son maintain his oral hygene. Dr Anji is very good with kids. She made sure we got all the information and instructions we need.

I brought my 9year old twin boys in for the first time today. They had cleanings done. One of my sons is normally very apprehensive but he did great today. My sons even did the Xrays with no problem. Normally that is an ordeal too. All of the workers are super nice and took great care of my boys!!!!! My boys favorite dentist!!!!!

I just had my first appointment with Dr. Lesley. She was incredibly nice, fun, and friendly while doing a great job on my teeth. She gave me good advice and because she was so nice, I actually wanted to listen to what she had to say! She proves that the dentist doesnt have to be scary!
