I was recommended to Dr. Downie because Ive been through several dentists in the last few years. I was complaining to a friend about it and he recommended that I come to see her. I was very hesitant because I live in Apollo Beach, and driving to South Tampa for an appointment was not fun. However, it was COMPLETELY worth the drive! I was super impressed with the office, the hygienist (I had a cleaning while I was there), and the care and concern of the dentist. They didnt try to sell me a bunch of things I didnt need, they cared about me and my health. Ill be having my husband go to this office as well. They take insurance which is a HUGE plus for a local office and open on Saturdays! Super happy with them, and with my friend for recommending them!

Just leaving Dr. Downies office. I have not been to the dentist in quite some time because of past experiences that left me too anxious to go regularly...but I have had a toothache for the past 3 days and needed some relief. So before I went i went on Google to find someone with great reviews. Turns out I need my wisdom tooth pulled, which dr. Downie does not do, but I will be back on a regular basis to see Dr. Downie and her staff. One of the most important things for me was not being judged on my neglect of my teeth. She was awesome. I would recommend her to anyone who is looking for a dentist that is compassionate. Thank you Dr. Downie, Margherita, and Betty.

I had the pleasure of going to Pearl Dental Center last month. WOW! From the pristine new and modern office, to the prompt and friendly care I received, I was IMPRESSED! Dr. Downie is a fabulous dentist who takes the time to sit and talk with her patients and determine a plan of care that is right for them. The hygienist was awesome and gentle and Dr. Downie was very thorough! Dr. Downie is the best dentist I have found in Florida in the 9 years I have lived here and I must say I will now keep up with my every 6 month appointments!

I just moved to the area and was looking to get established with a new Dentist. As soon as you walk into their office, you can feel the warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff is very nice and personable and they go above and beyond with everything they do to make sure you are happy. Dr. Downie is amazing and is very knowledgeable. She does not try and push anything extra that a person doesnt need. The entire staff is beautiful inside and out. It was a pleasure meeting them.

In my entire lifetime I have never encountered a more caring Dentist. I will recommend her over and over and over again. All she wanted was for me to be happy with the work I was getting done. While payment as with any business is important that is never the impression you get here. She was so willing to work with me and to give me a happy outcome. I had not been to the Dentist out of fear and of course financially and this Doc is top notch in my book.

I found Dr. Downie after having a very scary experience at another Dentist in Tampa. The previous dentist diagnosed me with multiple cavities and suggested I get Invisalign! I was shocked since I had never had any issues with my teeth. I found Dr. Downie and she re examined me and assured me that my teeth were in great condition and didnt need any additional work. Dr. Downie is very honest and trustworthy, and funny!!! I cant reccomend her enough!

Dr. Downie is a very thoughtful and caring dentist. Ive been getting my teeth cleaned and examed by her for the last 3 years. Her willingness to truly listen to her patients needs and suggest honest treatment plans separates her from most dentist in the area. Her new office in South Tampa is very homey and presents a state of comfort when you walk in. Definitely recommend Dr. Downie to anyone in need of dental work in the Tampa Bay area.

Dr. Downie is absolutely incredible. I came to her when my dentist in NJ completely missed a massive cavity in my tooth. She noticed that i needed a root canal and immediately got me set up for the right procedures. For a root canal, I was in minimal pain and she was able to help me throughout the process. I even lost my temporary cap and she was able to come in after hours to help me out. Very kind and friendly as well.

Dr. Downie makes you feel comfortable from the minute shes with you. She is thoughtful, careful, and never rushed. She recommended and made bleaching trays for me (since I down multiple cups of coffee daily), and people comment on how nice and bright my teeth are. It definitely makes me more confident. I would (and do) recommend her to anyone looking for a thorough, experienced dentist.

I absolutely love going to Dr. Downie (even though no one likes to go to the dentist lol)! A co-worker of mine raved about her and now I see why! When you arrive its like youre meeting with a friend.
